She dashed forward with her claws drawn out and went for a direct slash in the direction of the man's chest since she wasn't tall enough to reach his face.
Only for the man to react in time and block the incoming attack with his hardened body, her claws unable to pierce the skin of the man thoroughly, only able to draw a little bit of blood from scratching the surface.
The man didn't even give her time to pull back either, his fist launching forward as he intended to knock her out in one move.
Thankfully Lily was faster than the man, with better reaction speed, so she was able to react to the incoming attack enough to put her guard up, blocking the incoming fists with her hands.
With her arms blocking the attack and her legs kicking back simultaneously to lessen the impact of the blow, she was able to avoid taking a severe hit.
But even then, she could hear a cracking sound just from the graze he got her with.
'This man's insanely strong.'
She commented as she felt the pain from her hands, wincing slightly as she moved them.
The man had just barely landed his attack on her, yet she could feel that he had slightly broken her bone, multiple even.
Lily's bones weren't weak, they were much stronger than that of an average human's bones, so the fact that the man was able to break it so easily said a lot about his strength; if she wasn't as durable as she was, she might have already lost from that hit.
Fortunately, given all her abilities, she was already feeling the bones starting to heal, albeit slowly. And the bones weren't completely broken or even broken badly; they were just pained to move.
As it seemed like she would be unable to beat him head-on, she decided to use her abilities to her full advantage and try to play this as safely as possible.
She moved to the side and kept her distance from the man.
She used her speed, flexibility, and size to her advantage to constantly stay moving and dodge the man's incoming attacks.
Due to all of that, she was able to avoid the incoming attacks quite well. Still, even after five minutes of just avoiding the attacks, the man didn't even seem to be getting tired at all.
This was proving to be a considerable disadvantage for Lily, as she couldn't find an opportunity to get close and deal a deadly blow to him.
'This is not good. I may run out of stamina before he does.'
Lily was trying to find the proper chance to get closer to him in order to bite him, but he didn't give her an opportunity to do so, at least not without avoiding getting hurt.
'I'm going to need to tank the attack if I want to deal with him.'
She thought as she decided to go for it, sidestepping she quickly dashed towards the man from the side, giving her enough time to close the gap before the man could react to attack her.
By the time the man had punched her, landing a hit on her stomach, she had sunk her teeth into the man's shoulder, her venom spreading throughout his body quickly.
Finally, she was able to land a fatal blow on the man by using her potent mixture of venoms, venoms she got from the various snakes and reptiles she devoured, but she was injured in the process.
The man's punch sent her flying back and into the tunnel wall. She could hear multiple bones breaking, and she couldn't help but spit up some black blood from her mouth due to the internal damage she had taken.
She even suspected the man to have been holding back when he had landed his attack, most likely intending to capture her rather than kill her.
She had been wounded pretty severely, but, at the same time, she had also injured the man with a fatal wound.
The venom spread quickly; she could see the man's veins bulging from its effects, his body stumbling as he struggled to keep himself upright.
His body had been in overdrive due to how active he was, and due to that, his blood was flowing very quickly, allowing the venom to spread even quicker.
He was able to stand for a few more seconds before his body's strength gave out, and he fell to his knees.
"What did you do to me?"
He spoke as he fell forward onto his stomach, his body unable to keep itself upright in the state it was in.
He seemed to realize that he had been poisoned rather quickly as he struggled to look toward the girl.
Lily could see the regret in his eyes; maybe he regretted holding back in his attacks. If he hadn't done that, then he wouldn't have been the one dying right now.
But it was too late; his eyes faded as he lost the strength to stay awake, and Lily used this chance to limp over to the man, forcefully stabbing her claws into the neck of the man with all the stretch and pressure she could muster.
He was now dead, and Lily could finally rest for a while.
Her body seemingly gave out under the relief that washed over it as she leaned back against the tunnel's wall and slid into a sitting position.
The pain from her wounds was notable, especially the last attack she had suffered from the man that had left her with multiple broken ribs, punctured organs, and internal bleeding.
If it wasn't for all the things she had eaten and her general alien physical body, she wouldn't even be able to survive right now.
But she was not only able to survive; she was already healing. The bones were the quickest to recover, simply reattaching in a few minutes or so, maybe hours depending on how severe they were.
Still, the organs and internal bleeding were the hardest to deal with.
They took hours at the earliest, and the bleeding had to be purged from her body since it wasn't good.
She really wished she had a regeneration or healing ability right around now, but she had yet to come across any.

Author Note: I'm not the best at writing combat, so I do apologize if this wasn't very good. I will try to improve as I write more in the future. Secondly, I would like to clarify something about the power scaling of this world. I plan to make it lean more toward the comics when it comes to power scaling, as the MCU didn't really show just how powerful some of the people in it really are. However, the main storyline will primarily follow that similar to the MCU.
That's it, hope you enjoyed it. Seeing comments from people that enjoy the story motivates me to write more.
