"Anywho, I want you to create more of this firearm along with its .300 Winchester Magnums." Yoo Hana put the bullpup sniper rifle onto the table. "Just make as much as ammunition to an amount you deemed proper too. Also, we don't want to break that rifle on the testing, only to have none left. That semi-automatic sniper rifle cost more than $105,000~!"
"This gun cost more than me…"
"Mostly due to inflation," Yoo Hana shrugged. "Back when I was a child, the price was still around $45,000 for the first generation and $70,000 for the second generation~!"
"What kind of child were you??"
Within the creations of the guns, Hosua noticed that it would be neat if she already had a template saved and repeated the process fast and autonomously instead of using her own computation for everything.
So she created a template storage, and just like how she could automate her soul tentacles, she could also automate the creation process by just choosing what kind of object or matter that she wanted to create.
[Soul Tech Level 2: {Template Creation} acquired]
'I guess I've turned myself into a living industry, huh.'
And so, after creating around ten WA2000 sniper rifles and a lot of filled magazines meant for 6 cartrdiges, the shooting range was tinkered and the whole storage room was ensured to be fully encompassed with soundproof coatings.
Because it was already tested that the usage of the Reality Halo didn't emit radiation to the surroundings, Yoo Hana freed herself from the hazmat suit.
A dummy target made out of thick rubber was equipped with a bulletproof vest. Because all of it was made from Partial Divinity, Hosua took note of the creation process into a template in case that she needed them in the future.
Yoo Hana then grabbed one of the sniper rifle and the mag, appraising it like some kind of sommelier, before taking an aim at the target dummy as she stood straight,
The first shot exploded from the chamber. The recoil, while contained by good posture and strength, still violently pushed her shoulder away to some degree. The next round was chambered, and Yoo Hana pulled the trigger again a couple of times.
'A, is this just me, or is she actually the hitman instead of Mr. Trevor??'
"Hosua, reduce the recoil to 1%."
[Reducing Recoil of the subject: 100% -> 1%]
Hosua gestured her hand as a sign.
Yoo Hana pressed the trigger.
The bullet still traveled violently but there was no knockback force whatsoever.
"Now, let's see if the target subject meant the whole thing of the gun, including the ammunition, or a standalone structure on its own." Yoo Hana smirked. "This time, make sure that the Reducer encompasses everything that makes a ballistic weapon. Reduce the Air Resistance to 1%."
"Affirmative."
[Reducing Air Resistance of the subject: 100% -> 1%]
Yoo Hana pulled the trigger.
Since there would be no air to be pushed out of the way from the barrel by the bullet, the projectile left the muzzle at a slightly faster speed.
And because there would be no aerodynamic drag, the bullet would remain traveling at muzzle velocity.
The result was a slightly more dangerous impact and more destruction.
Yoo Hana reloaded the magazine with a pretty amused face. "When it comes to firearms, air is the biggest problem in accuracy, range, and trajectory management.
"Those air induced problems include bullet drop, spin drift, air temperature, air density, wind direction, and if we put more range such as 3 km into context, there are magnus and poisson effect~
"While they are mitigated by bullet and gun design, such as the twist rate of lands and groves, shape of bullet, burnt rate of powder, length of barrel, surface coating of the bullet and its weight. The fact that air still exists means that there was a limit to those mitigations.
"What else can remove those problems fully other than magic in this day and age?"
"Didn't we make the Halo using science to a major extent?"
"Science-made magic~!" Yoo Hana grinned as she took aim once again. "This time, let's do something more bizarre~!
"Hosua, reduce the Ammunition Consumption to 1%!!"
Without much thought, Hosua did what was commanded. This time however, she felt a heavier drawback within both her soul and her mind. It was negligible, but it sure was an important detail for her knowledge of the Halo.
[Reducing Ammunition Consumption of the subject: 100% -> 1%]
The rifle uses single stack box magazines with a 6-round capacity. If one were to use math to deduce on what happened if the concept of ammo consumption was of that equation, then the bullet capable of being fired by the gun before it could reload would be 600 bullets.
But reality doesn't work that way, consumming a 1% of 6 bullets would literally mean throwing the concept of firearms into the dustbin and says "F" it before doing something far more profitable than bargaining the impossible.
But then, what would happen if reality was skewered to allow such absurd things to happen?
"... What in the digital aether I'm witnessing?"
Right in front of her eyes, Yoo Hana dumped more than ten if not hundreds of bullets without notable recoils, all with the destructive power of a sniper rifle that would probably bust out a hole on the wall if not for the reinforcement that Hosua did on the storage's rennovation.
And then there was Yoo Hana, who seemed to be experiencing the best moment of her life, as she maniacally laughed her way on spending the looney-tooney gun's physics that seemed like it was straight out a video game.
Yoo Hana then tried to insert a new fully loaded magazine. To her surprise, the crazy ammo increasing effect was still there.
Thus, resulting in the creation of WTH2000.
It struck a realization to Hosua.
'Hmm, what if there are more than 10 or 100 Yoo Hanas eqquipped with the WTH2000?' she thought, while imagining numerous Yoo Hana multiplying again and again like bacteria.
Hosua then approached the laughing Hana and prodded her on the shoulder.
