Groaning I wake up to see light seeping through the curtains from sides which where not properly covered,getting up I do my daily skin care routine,getting out of the shower I style my hair in a ponytail,changing my mind i style my chestnut hair into a bun.
I picked my outfit Which is a jean with a fitted top with a sweetheart neck at the shoulder,I see at the bottom of the wardrobe to see a Jordan shoe carton, I opened it I see a white latest Jordan which was my perfect size.
'I don't think I saw this here yesterday morning', it went well with my outfit so I wore it, I head down the stairs I meet mr thomas the butler standing at the last flight of the stairs .
"Good morning miss Amelia "
"Good morning mr Thomas how was your rest "I asked him walking down the stairs,
"splendid and how was yours miss Amelia"
oh great remembering the kiss uncle ray gave me on my cheeks last night ,trying to keep the blush that might creeping up my face,
"mr thomas i was thinking if I could get a ride to uncle's company today".
"Yes yes sure I'll set that up right away,go have your breakfast I'll have that prepared"
"okay thank you mr Thomas"
"its my pleasure miss Amelia"he says walking away to get the car ready.
Going over to the dining area I see aunty patricia setting up the table,I decided to join her in setting the table.
"No Amelia let me do it sit sit " she's says pulling out a chair for me to sit,giving her my best smile "thank you aunty Patricia"
"sure my dear "she says smiling she goes into the kitchen to continue cleaning.
Flashback
I went downstairs to get a snack in the middle of the night,opening the fridge I take out some crackers and peanut butter whipped cream for toppings putting them down on the counter.
"Miss Amelia ?,oh geez you gave me a fright "I turn to see one of the cooks in the house a matured lady who should be in her late fourties .
"Sorry I scared you" I replied sincerely.
"Not a problem my dear" she says "what are you still doing up this late "she asked
"I was just craving for a snack " I smile sheepishly.
"Let me do that for you miss Amelia , you should have asked dear"
" oh no I'm good thanks its just a snack you could have some too if you want they taste great" I say doing a kissing sign with my hands,I see her chuckling.
After finishing making my delicacy,aunty come over come to try,she takes one tasting them "hmm it better than what I thought "I heard her say
"I see why you're up this late" she says smiling,
I couldn't help but laugh "yeah they taste great "I say taking some into my mouth,whipped cream and peanut butter couldn't go any wrong.
"Aunty you can call me Amelia what's your name?"
"its Patricia Amelia " she says giving me a warm smile,
"okay then aunty Patricia" I say which earns me a laugh from her .

Finishing my breakfast I see a black maybach waiting for me outside the door,mr Marco opens the door
"good morning miss Anne" he says
"good morning mr john "he nods his head getting into the drivers seat.
we took forty minutes to get to the company,coming down from the car which was parked in the underground parking lot,a guy in black suit and short black hair combed back walks over to me.
"welcome miss Amelia I am mr Alexander's assistant martins williams "
"Good morning martins "I replied him,
"follow me miss Amelia"he said.
we take the private elevator to the highest floor where his office is located,entering his office I take a sitter at the couch, "Mr Alexander is in a meeting what would like to have as you wait" he inquired.
"Thank you I'm good"
Left with the office all to my self a take a look around the office,the interior looks more like his room giving this calm atmosphere,walking over to his desk seeing the ceiling to floor window cover by a thick curtain,opening it up to let sunlight into the room you can see how beautiful and homey his office looks.
sitting on his chair,I take a twirl to face the ceiling to floor window looking over the city,
"what a beautiful view from up here "I murmured to my myself.
"Wait till you see it at night" I hear a voice beside me,turning the chair I see uncle ray looking all tall and mighty staring at me with those dark poles.
I didn't dare raise my head his eyes "you're done with the meeting,how did it go ? "I asks looking anywhere but his eyes.
"Went well" came his reply
"You always leave for work very early and I don't have any plans for today that why I decided to pass by your company" I said staring at my shoes.
Not hearing his reply after few seconds I raise my head to meet his eyes,
"you liked them "came his question,he saw I didn't quite get what he had said ,he made a gesture towards the shoe.
"Yes,I saw them this morning thank you". he hummed in reply.
"You don't see me in the morning when I leave for work because you sleep like a fish "he says with a straight face.
"Fishes don't sleep so you know " I retaliated ,he raises one brow smirking.
"The position I saw you this morning with your hands and legs spread wide pretty looks like a sleeping fish to me with the fins spread wide "
'oh god I'm done, I can't believe he saw me that way' for I couldn't help but be red all over.
Rebutting "I sleep in because I'm on a break when school resumes its bye bye to peace" which earns me a chuckle" okay if you say so sweetheart "
My heart skipped a beat when he called me that 'what would I do, he is going to be the death of me '.
"Have you had lunch I told martins to get take out"
"I haven't"
"then we will have lunch together " he said.
Hearing a knock on the door martins comes in carrying the take out bowing slightly to uncle ray. "place them on the table over there " he instructed.
Martins placed them on the table,finishing his tasks he leaves the office closing the door behind him,
"let eat " uncle Ray proposed leading the way to the couch.
I sat across him,we ate in a comfortable silence.
"I just wanted to come by the company,I will take my leave now so I can leave you to your work" I say making a move to stand.
"Sit " he leans backwards into the couch, "Grandpa called he said i have not been filial that should come by to the house tonight to have dinner and since your here I was thinking we should head home together I also guess its been long you visited grandpa and grandma".
" Okay sure I will wait so we can go together "I replied,he nods his head agreement .
"okay just give me two hours to get some work done before we leave " he stands up going over to his desks he comes back with a laptop. "Make use of this why you wait "he says handing it over to me.
"Thanks"
It didn't take long when I felt my eyes begin to drop.
Ray saw this, he gets up taking a blanket from his shelf adjusting her into a comfortable position putting the blanket over her.
Getting back to work it didn't take time before the day got dark,hearing a knock on the door raymond raises his head to see his assistant.
"Mr Alexander you have dinner to attend at in less than an hour with your parents "he informed his boss.
"Get the car ready "he instructed his assistant
"yes boss ". going to get the work done he closes the door behind him,Ray goes over to the sleeping angel , he picks her up in a bridal style making his movement light as possible he takes his private elevator to the underground parking lot.
"Like I said a fish " he said to no one but himself.
Martins opened the passenger's door for his boss to get in , while he enters , the tires screech into the busy road.
