After a few seconds, someone knocks on her door, Saeng opens the door and saw Yeong again standing in front of her, holding something behind his back.
Saeng asks, " Yeong-a, go back to your house. Go help your mother." But then also he doesn't move an inch from there, she then lets him in again as she knows that Yeong is quite stubborn.
Saeng orders her cutely to bend down but she refused, but Yeong kept insisting and she also kept refusing then Yeong did a fake crying act, which disturbed her concentration while cooking dinner.
She turns and warns him, " Yeong-a, you are too stubborn. Fine, Do fast whatever you need to do".
Then she bends down, then Yeong moves closer and extends his small hand in front of her, and placed something beside her ear, she was going to touch it but Yeong asks her to not touch her hair yet and stay still.
Saeng remains still like always, then Yeong removes the hair clip from her hair and pins that soft thing beside her ear with that clip. Then he compliments her, " Seon-saeng nim, you look so pretty with this flower. You look like a flower fairy. Eomma told me that you like this flower a lot. So, I brought this flower for you. 아주 예쁘다 ( Very pretty)".
The Saeng stands in front of a small mirror hanging upon the wall in the hall room, she notices that same Saeng-sacho flower beside her ear that her parents used to grow in the garden, to which she is habituated to.
She observes herself in the mirror closely and then feels a memory popping into her mind. She closed her eyes and avoids the flashback memory and turns toward Yeong, he smiles fondly at her and tells her, " Even if you don't give me anything or don't have anything for me, still I have many things to give you as you are my favorite person and I love you, my weird teacher. This flower is rare and has quite an unusual shade just like you, so, I thought it would suit my teacher".
Although her face was expressionless after his innocent and sweet comment still she felt something weird inside her chest like feeling good or happy maybe that is what people express whenever someone does something sweet for someone.
She never felt this happy emotion as she doesn't understand these emotions. She has studied the psychology of emotions but never felt them.
Yeong hugs her knees and then suddenly runs away to his house.
Saeng is calm and neutral but she noticed again her hands reddened for a few seconds longer than in the previous incident at that camp.
Saeng touches the soft petals of the flower and then a memory forcefully plays in her mind taking back her to the past.
The scene opens with a garden, where children playing, laughing, and teasing each other and their parents look fondly at their children.
There was another group of children in which the mean girl and small Saeng were also there. This was after that incident, that mean girl was not so mean to small Saeng now and they became close friends, but there was another boy who was looking at a particular friend group playing and laughing together.
And here, he was alone as his legs were fractured due to some accident and his friends refused to play with him as others didn't want him to spoil their fun and playing time.
He notices small Saeng, who looked quite different from other children but beautiful yet looked a little intimidating to him.
That boy wonders how the other children in that group have accepted her despite her flaws, unlike his friends.
The mean girl and others were tired after playing for hours but small Saeng looked less tired than them. They decide to buy ice creams for them but small Saeng stayed behind.
Small Saeng then observes a boy looking at her, she also looked at that boy, then she became uninterested and turns her attention somewhere else.
She then roams around the garden, watching the flowers then she noticed a unique flower plant, which she is quite habituated to.
She thinks of plucking one flower from it but the adults didn't allow her to pluck as they don't want to ruin the presence of a rare plant.
But she wanted it but then she thought of asking her parents to bring the same flower plant pot for her.
That boy noticed this, he sneakily plucks out one flower from that plant and moves towards small Saeng, who is wandering around, he walks and stands in front of her and commands her to stop.
She then turns and starts wandering in the opposite direction, which made that boy laugh at her action, he then again goes in front of her, then she again turns in a different direction.
Then she asks him, " Mister, What do you need? Why are you coming in between my way? My all friends went to buy ice-creams, so, when they come back, you can talk to them. But do not disturb me."
But he is still standing in front of her, she then speaks in a neutral tone, What do you need from me? And kindly speak fast as I don't talk with strangers".
He held her arm to stop her from walking away from him and small Saeng looks at him with a neutral expression, which made the boy confused about her personality, then he withdrew his arms back and places something beside her ear and secured it with a hairpin attached to her hair.
Small Saeng raises her hand and touches the hair beside her ear and feels a soft material like the soft petals of a flower.
He gives a friendly smile to her and tells her, " Miss, I do not know about you or your name, but I thought of giving this flower to you because I saw you earlier trying to pluck this flower, which means that you like that flower, so, I brought it for you. This flower suits you. You are looking like a flower fairy"
Small Saeng feels some kind of motion in her heart, which made her lips curve upwards giving a glimpse of her small smile, which was noticed by that boy. And that boy felt that her smile is beautiful but it is not a full smile.
Then that mean girl and the other children return to where they both were standing, that mean girl notices a boy standing in front of Saeng.
She and others ask, " Saeng-a, who is this boy? What is he telling you? Is he a bully ?".
That boy requests them to let him also be part of their group, which others were not sure of due to his condition even the mean girl was a little worried as she didn't want to hurt him as he looked injured so he may or may not be able to play with them.
The boy looked with expectant eyes and the children were feeling hesitant to deny him then that mean girl asked small Saeng as she is good at making things clear cut.
Small Saeng stares at him and remembers him placing a flower in her hair and again she feels the temperature raising inside her body, then she again shifts to neutral, ignoring the motions inside her body.
She agrees to let him in their gang and all others look confused at her response, the mean questions her decision silently in her ear, and small Saeng just mumbles, " This young mister can handle himself, we are not his parents to take care of after him, so if he wants to play then we should let him".
This answer shocked the mean girl a little as small Saeng sounded somehow nice and kind in some way and she felt bad for pitying him.
She and other friends also accepted him in their gang and they started playing with him. They all enjoyed it a lot.
That boy was glad to be in their gang and also for getting a unique friend.
Then the scene was changed into another scene in which small Saeng is seen wishing goodbye to her mean friend and that boy and other friends departed away from that city due to different reasons when they were going to enter the mid-school period.
Saeng was feeling some kind of weird sickness which made her feel tired and heavy feeling inside but this feeling occurred inside her rarely. For most of her life, she always felt neutral and emotionless as she doesn't understand these emotions.
Then flashback ends, Saeng is staring intensely at her reflection in the mirror and finds her usual expression (neutral). She then just stands up and finishes her cooking fast and eats her dinner.
Then on the other side, Si-U is seen paying attention to his physics teacher in the classroom, but his mind is curious about Saeng's personal life and her.
After classes are over, Si-U recalls his sister's words before he arrived at college in the morning time.
Mi-Ok ordered him to buy the given list of items from the grocery mart and also told him to buy a bouquet of Saeng-sacho flowers and one bundle pack of orange juice bottles and also a rabbit plush.
Si-U is curious about to whom these things are being gifted as he knows his sister that she is not so fond of flowers and also her sister likes teddy bears rather than plush ones.
But, then he just ignored his thoughts and went to the grocery mart and then to another store where he bought a cute medium-sized rabbit plush.
Then he was going back home but on the way he finds a boy unconscious, laying down on the grass beside a river, he ran to that boy and tries to wake him up, then after many tries, that boy woke up crying in pain, then when he opened his eyes and looks at Si-U, his eyes reflected fear and his body was shaking in fear.
Si-U comforts him and assures him that he means no harm.
Then he decides to drop him home, so he asked for his address, then he booked a taxi for them, then the taxi arrived and they sat inside.
On the other side, Saeng is in a deep sleep, because she has been working overtime.
In her sleep, her facial expressions squint like she was dreaming about something, and her neutral expressions were changing into pride, fear, and excitement, which was strange.
Suddenly she wakes up from her dream, her heart is beating fast and her face is covered in sweat and her palm reddens again for a few seconds then turns pale.
Saeng picks up her water bottle and drank slowly, then she switched on the lights and looks at the mirror and observes her eyes staring back with a serious intense fire of excitement burning in her beautiful black eyes and her thick black patches making her look like some kind of masked person but a beautiful mask though.
