"You have been missing meetings with your father, won't he become suspicious?" Gerald asked Xavier.
"Mom is covering for me and I have to take care of Liana she hasn't recovered yet," he said.
"Oh now you care about her"
"I have too, mom confirmed everything you both were saying so I have no choice but to believe it. Even without my memories I still feel connected to here " he said.
"And the baby? what will you guys do about it?"
He sighed, "Nothing we are just waiting for when it will happen," he said.
"How is she now, I don't think Liana has accepted that yet," said Gerald.
"She doesn't talk about it much we accepted it," he said.
"I hope she recovers soon so we can leave, I miss my suits now these old-fashioned outfits are killing me," he said.
Xavier frowned and walked off, "I don't want that to happen anytime soon " he muttered.

Liana got up from bed, she had been in her room for days now cause of her fever. She felt better now and decided to get out of bed.
"My lady, your still weak to get up " the maid close to her bed rushed to her side.
"Am fine, you people just think am weak " she said walking to the window. The maid stood by her side.
She could see Xavier and his father ride their horses off, "Where are they going?" she asked.
"Official business, my lady " she answered.
The door opened and the queen walked out, "I sent them away so you could walk around the palace freely today " she said.
Liana chuckled, " Thank you, I need some fresh air "
After a bath and helping to dress Liana walked out with the queen.
"How do you people wear this every day, I feel suffocated with every step I take," she said adjusting her dress again.
The queen scoffed, "I know your plane has different attire but I loved this era so much I decided to stick to it "
"I mean it's fine and classy but it takes time to even wear one layer of this dress. My breasts are so high up I feel them in my face and the height makes it difficult to even move c she looked down at her body.
" But they seem to suit you more than your clothes," the Queen said.
"I agree with that, every time am in one I feel like a princess or something " she laughed.
They walked up to the shed where the horses were.
Liana gazed from afar seeing how they galloped around the field.
"They are beautiful " she smiled.
"They are, my husband got them for me," she said.
Liana turned to her, "He seems to be nice to you but not to his son "
"When I first got her nothing was as it is now. It was a barren land with the demons so unruly and his army so vicious. I told him to let me change everything or I would leave him and could not lose me. So I made the demons get human skins and tutored them, then made this land fertile to turn green like now ".
" It looks wonderful, especially the flower garden," she said.
Their walk went on with the maids walking close behind them.
"After I got pregnant with my son, my body started to change. Since he wasn't human like me it was hard being pregnant with him. I was weak and kept getting sick but during my fourth phase, things changed "
Xavier's power started linking into my body and helping me sustain the pregnancy. After I gave birth I fully transformed and I turned immortal with powers of my own.
"You must have been lonely in such a place without anyone you know," Liana said.
"My mother and sisters used to visit but with time they got so old, they could not come anymore. And when they finally died I said goodbye to their souls with a smile " the queen.
"So your alone again "
"No, my nieces and nephews have been coming for centuries and I made friends with other wives of the officials in my husband's Court.
Liana laughed, " I can't imagine this place is different from how I imagined. It's like another planet of its own"
"It is another plane. It might be where the dead arrive but it doesn't stop it from being its place that's why I made sure things moved smoothly after I got here "
Sitting down they took some tea and cake.
"I love it here that I wish it was my actual home. I was raised in an environment where I was the outcast but here everyone loves and adores me. And Xavier might not remember me but seeing him every day is great".
" You would but you can't, you don't belong here Liana. You have to return to your place until the right time comes for you to join us " the Queen said.
She sighed, "I guess your right but when I do leave I will miss you. cause after spending this little time with you I like you "
"I like you too "the Queen laughed.
After tea, they left for her chambers where a tailor came in.
" I want you to make her dress that will make everyone stare at her," said the queen.
"Ahh, and why do I need such a dress?" Liana asked as they took her measurements.
"It's for my birthday which is in two days, I want you to attend it "
"But then the King will see me "
"He won't do anything on such a day. And he does not you here but hasn't done anything cause I took a liking to you " she said.
"So all this time he knew but couldn't react cause of you. I like you more now " Liana laughed.
The maid came in, "The king and prince are back, your highness "
"Okay, we will be right there," she said.
