"Transfer it to both of us, system. But keep it hidden for now. I'm tired from battling." Haru said in his head while shaking his head.

[ Kasumi carried the whole battle though ]

"....... Dang it! You're kinda right there." Haru plans to retaliate but thought that the system is right!

[ I said so ] If the system have an a body and facial expression, Haru would've seen the system shrugged and sigh on him.

"Haru! Let's rest in the Pokemon Center for now! I'm tired" Kasumi said as she panted lightly with weary expression showed in her face.

"Okay!" Haru agreed with no hesitation.

[ See! Kasumi carried! ]

"Shut it!" Haru grumpily said.

After their intense battle at the Viridian City Gym, Haru and Kasumi decided to take it easy for a few days. For three days, they stayed in the city, enjoying some well-deserved rest, training their Pokemon, and sightseeing the beautiful surroundings.

One evening, while eating at a cozy diner, Haru overheard a group of trainers talking excitedly about the Pokémon League at Indigo Plateau, which was just beyond Route 22 and Victory Road, not far from Viridian City. His ears perked up when he heard something even more intriguing: Lorelei of the Elite Four was staying in the city for a short while.

Kasumi, overhearing the same conversation, nudged Haru. "Did you hear that? Lorelei! She's one of the most powerful trainers in the Kanto region."

Haru nodded, his eyes widening with excitement. "We should go see her! This is a rare chance to see one of the Elite Four up close."

Kasumi raised an eyebrow on what Haru said but did not said anything.

The next day, they joined a crowd gathered near Viridian City's park, where Lorelei was rumored to be making a brief appearance. There were so many people, but Haru and Kasumi managed to find a spot where they could catch a glimpse of the Ice-type expert.

Lorelei of the Elite Four is a striking figure who embodies both elegance and strength. Her long, silvery-blue hair cascades down her back in smooth, lustrous waves, catching the light with every movement. The color of her hair reflects the icy, ethereal nature of her Ice-type Pokemon. It is styled neatly, with a delicate braid that frames her face and softens her sharp features.

Her eyes are a piercing shade of azure blue, exuding an air of calm confidence. They are almond-shaped and framed by long, dark lashes, giving her a gaze that is both captivating and penetrating. Her skin is fair and flawless, with a soft, porcelain-like quality that contrasts with the vibrant hues of her attire.

Lorelei's outfit is both regal and practical. She wears a form-fitting, high-collared coat of deep navy blue, adorned with intricate patterns that resemble frost and ice crystals. The coat is made from a shimmering fabric that changes hue subtly with her movements, reflecting the light like freshly fallen snow. The collar is lined with a soft, white fur, adding a touch of luxury and warmth to her otherwise cool appearance.

Underneath the coat, she dons a sleek, white dress that reaches just above her knees. The dress is simple yet elegant, accentuating her slim, athletic build. She wears knee-high, white boots with silver accents that complement the overall icy theme of her ensemble.

Around her neck, Lorelei wears a pendant that matches an ice-type gemstone. The pendant is an intricate piece of jewelry with a large, icy blue gemstone set in a delicate silver frame. It glows softly, hinting at the mystical qualities it possesses.

Her posture and demeanor are composed and graceful, reflecting her experience and authority. She carries herself with an air of dignity, but there is a warmth in her presence that puts others at ease. Her overall appearance is a perfect blend of sophistication and strength, embodying the powerful yet graceful nature of the Ice-type Pokemon she commands.

Suddenly, Haru felt a jolt in his mind as the familiar sound of the system chimed in.

[Quest Activated!]

Haru blinked in shock. "W-What?! Woo Lorelei?! I'm only 10 years old!"

The system retorted, [ She's only 18, and you're a trainer. Age is just a number here. Besides, it's not like you'd really... you know... just try! ]

Haru rubbed his temples, exasperated. "This is not happening! You're out of your mind, system!"

Just then, Kasumi noticed Haru's expression. "Hey, what's wrong with you? You look like you've seen a ghost," she said, her tone tinged with suspicion.

"Uh, nothing!" Haru quickly responded, trying to avoid her gaze.

Kasumi's eyes narrowed. "You sure? You don't have a crush on Lorelei or something, do you?"

Haru froze, his face turning red. "N-No, why would I... what are you even talking about?!"

Kasumi crossed her arms and looked away, a hint of jealousy flashing in her eyes. "Hm, sure, whatever you say."

The system snickered in Haru's mind, clearly enjoying the awkward situation.

[ Looks like you're already making progress! ]

Before Haru could retort, the crowd parted slightly, revealing Lorelei walking through with an air of grace and authority. Her icy blue eyes scanned the crowd before pausing on Haru and Kasumi. For a moment, she seemed intrigued, as if sensing something unusual about them.

After a brief conversation with her secretary, she continued on what she is doing and her secretary secretly motioned to him. The secretary approached Haru and Kasumi. "Excuse me, young trainers. Lorelei would like to meet you in private. She requests your presence at her private house later this afternoon."

Both Haru and Kasumi stared at each other in disbelief. "She wants to meet us?" Haru asked, his voice a mix of excitement and nerves.

Kasumi, still processing the situation, nodded. "I guess so… but why?"

"Guess we'll find out," Haru replied, his heart racing as they prepared to meet one of the most powerful trainers in the Kanto Region. And of course, the Quest.

.

.

As the afternoon sun began to dip towards the horizon, casting a warm glow over Viridian City, Haru and Kasumi followed the secretary to Lorelei's private house. It was an elegant residence, with a hint of icy grandeur fitting for the Elite Four member.

They were ushered into a cozy living room where Lorelei awaited them. She sat comfortably in an armchair, her presence commanding yet welcoming. Haru and Kasumi took a seat across from her, trying to appear calm despite their nerves.

Lorelei looked at Haru with a keen, thoughtful expression. "I felt an unusual aura from you, Haru. There's something about you that piques my interest. I wanted to see for myself."

Haru blinked, unsure of how to respond. "Uh, really? I'm just a normal trainer..."

Lorelei smiled softly. "Not quite. There's more to you than meets the eye. But let's not rush things."

Just then, Haru's glove, which he had left in his bag, began to glow brightly. The mysterious stone he had discovered earlier, now embedded in his glove, started to shine with a vivid blue hue. It pulsed rhythmically, almost as if it were alive.

Haru and Kasumi watched in awe as the stone's light grew more intense, then suddenly, it began to point directly towards Lorelei, specifically, her pendant. The light concentrated on her for a few moments before abruptly shifting and landing back on Haru, the glow finally fading away.

Lorelei's eyes widened slightly, touching her pendant as she observed the phenomenon. "It seems that this stone has a connection to me. Fascinating."

The system's voice echoed in Haru's mind, cheerful and mischievous.

[ Looks like the quest is heating up! Aren't you glad you decided to meet Lorelei after all? ]

Haru's face turned red with embarrassment. "Seriously, system? Now's not the time for jokes!"

Lorelei raised an eyebrow, intrigued and smiled teasingly. "Hmm? what's with the look? You like me or something?"

Kasumi, who had been quiet during the initial exchange, finally spoke up, trying to change the mood. "So, um, Lorelei, what do you think of our little show here?"

Lorelei chuckled softly. "It seems that the stone has chosen you, Haru. Its connection with me indicates that you might have a role to play that goes beyond ordinary training."

Kasumi shot Haru a teasing glance and said with jealously. "Looks like you're special after all. Maybe you'll get that special relationship with Lorelei too!"

Haru scowled playfully at Kasumi. "Oh, ha-ha. Just what I needed—more pressure."

Lorelei smiled warmly. "Don't worry, Haru. I'm not here to put you under stress. I simply wanted to understand the source of that aura I felt from you. And it seems there's a significant connection between you and me. Especially, we got your stone and my pendant here"

She then turned to her secretary, who stepped forward with a small, ornate box. "This is something I've kept for a long time. It might be of interest to you, Haru."

The secretary opened the box to reveal an intricate pendant with an icy blue gemstone similar to what she wears. Lorelei continued, "This pendant has been in my possession for years. It's the same as my pendant, though it is smaller as it is a fragment of the pendant I wear. The Legends of the past said that this pendant can enhance the bond between trainer and Pokémon, especially those with a unique aura. I don't know if you can have a connection with me or the stone if you wear this."

Haru's eyes widened in amazement as he reached for the pendant. "Thank you, Lorelei. I didn't expect..."

Lorelei nodded. "Consider it a gift for your journey. Use it wisely. And remember, sometimes the path to greatness is paved with unexpected twists. It might lead you to me someday or you might help me with something."

Kasumi smiled at Haru, her earlier jealousy replaced by genuine admiration. Though still a little jealous "Looks like you've got a special gift, Haru."

Haru awkwardly laugh at the two, " ha-ha-ha "

The conversation continued as they discussed their Pokemon journeys and the mysteries of the stone. Lorelei's presence, once intimidating, now felt like a family to them or something near that.

As Haru and Kasumi left Lorelei's house later that evening, they left with mix emotions. The mysterious stone, the pendant, and their encounter with Lorelei had added a new layer of excitement to their adventure.

"Let's make the most of this," Haru said to Kasumi. "There's so much ahead of us. We met Lorelei, one of the Elite Four! One of the strongest in the Kanto Region! We're still far to reach that but we've travel far enough to stop! Tomorrow, we'll go to Pallet Town to meet Professor Oak. He might help us about our situation."

Kasumi nodded enthusiastically. "Absolutely. We've got a lot to do, and I'm ready for it!"

They set out once again, eager to continue their journey and embrace whatever challenges and surprises awaited them.

The system's voice suddenly echoed in Haru's mind, teasing him again. "Go for Lorelei! WOOHOO!!"

Haru: "....."

Kasumi, although happy and her heart is full of determination, suddenly looked at Haru and said, " So, you liked Lorelei or something? I won't mind though, But I'll definitely be the first!"

Haru: "........ Harem?"

Kasumi: "Duh, it's allowed here as Kanto and Johto haven't recovered yet from the war they had before."

Haru: "How come I did not know it?"

Kasumi: "Mom and aunt said it to me"

Haru: "How come they did not say it to me?"

Kasumi: "'Cause you might make a Harem?"

Haru: ".........."

System: [ Link Quest! Make a Harem! ]

Haru: "............."

System: [ I've asked Arceus, you can do it! It might help you to prevent the Final Days ]

Haru: "....... We'll talk about this next time. Let's just rest and head out tomorrow."

Kasumi: "Okay, fine!"

System: [ I was ignored ]
