At Xavier's room, he just climbed his side of the bed and picked up a book, Hazel on the other hand was waiting to be scolded but Xavier had other plans in mind
"Looks like you love getting into trouble" he finally said
"I don't"
"Really?, what would have happened if I didn't show up"
"I would have been caught and be burnt and caught and…"
"You would have been dead in a couple of minutes"
"Thanks for coming" Hazel said but he just nod his head seeming to think
"You know, its not every time I can come to your rescue"

"There's this thing between master and slave that makes it easier for the master to sense when the slave is in danger"
"What's it"
"Its a bond"
"A bond?"
"Yep"
"So that's means you will be able to read all my thoughts and does this stuff work in both ways"
"I won't be able to read your mind rabbit and no it only works for me"
"No, I don't want it"
One could see the look of disappointment on Xavier's face, he had wanted her to agree so he could put the soul bond on her, meaning she was stuck with him in this lifetime and in the next to come, it would also help communicate her feelings to him
"Then I guess, you'll be in trouble a day and no one will help you out" he said tauntingly
"…"
"I mean if you were burnt, I'll just have to replace you" he stood up to leave the room
"Where are you going"
"Missing me already?" He asked teasingly
"No"
"I'm going to see Lucas" and he headed towards the door
"Wait"
Xavier had a smile on his lips as she said that
"What?"
"You can put the bond"
"You didn't want me to know your feelings, what changed?"
"As long as you don't know my thoughts,that's fine"
He walked back to the bed and climbed it putting them in a position where he was hovering above her
"What kind of mark are you going to put on me"
"How?"
"I heard there are three types of bond, master-slave bond, friendship and soul bond used by lovers"
"What kind do you think I'm putting"
'I wish it was the soul bond' she thought
"Master-slave bond"
"Hmmn"
Xavier kept his knees besides her trapping her in between and he used his elbows to hold his weight. He could as well use this opportunity to taste her lips again, she looked so alluring in that state. Hazel noticed the flash of lust in his eyes
"You're not drinking or tasting, are you?"
"I'm just going to create a bond with you or do you want me to?"
"No"
He leaned forward to her nape, his mouth open so Hazel could clearly see his fangs and they were growing bigger
"You said you weren't drinking"
"And I'm planning on keeping to that"
"But your fangs are getting bigger"
"That's because its itching to suck, I can hold myself"
"Okay"
He breathed and smelt like though he was trying to find the perfect spot to sink his fangs, and he knew that the act was sending sparks in Hazel's body. He wanted her yo be aroused cause blood when aroused tastes better, he was definitely going to drink from her, did she think hell miss every given opportunity. When he noticed she was good to go, he sunk his fangs into her skin. Creating a bond didn't take that much time but Xavier lingered longer to taste her aroused blood and as expected, it tasted better. He retracted his fangs some seconds later so she wouldn't suspect anything.
"Its over?" She asked
"Yes, it is"He said as he came down and left the room
The next day, Hazel woke up to notice that Xavier wasn't by her side, she had gotten used to the fact that Xavier was there every morning. She cleaned the room and arranged the bed. She dared not step out if the room fearing that Mrs Decron will see her again. Some minutes later, Collins came in with a tray
" The Lord has said I should serve you your food in here, since he isn't around so you don't have yo go to the dining"
"Do you know where he is?"
"Rivelle, I guess"
"Okay"
He dropped the tray on the bed and stayed there till she finished eating even though Hazel had told him that she would bring the plates down when she was through. When he left, Hazel was left with relles. Relles on the other was done with being silent and he was about to change that
