Chapter 55 - The Confrontation: Raven Vs the Wrathful Bakunawa

Raven found himself standing at the front of a mysterious gate inside the dungeon. As he gazed upon it, he noticed something alarming. The hidden dungeon, a secret place filled with unknown dangers, and the main dungeon were gradually merging together. It was a shocking sight that filled Raven with a sense of unease and curiosity

In his novel, this is an event where Leo and his companions fighting the [Bakunawa] but because of exhaustion they suddenly teleported outside the dungeon. This unexpected turn of events ended up saving their lives, as the dungeon became a forbidden zone thereafter. The experience left a profound impact on them, forcing them to confront a harsh reality—they were truly weak in the face of overwhelming strength.

Although they were considered geniuses in their respective fields inside the academy, they soon realized that the label of "genius" was merely a facade, a hollow praise that inflated their egos. Inside the dungeon, where true tests of strength and ability awaited, their supposed genius held no weight.

However, rather than succumbing to despair, this experience ignited a fire within them. It awakened a newfound determination to tread the path of real geniuses, individuals who possessed both exceptional talent and unwavering dedication. They understood that true greatness required surpassing their limits, pushing themselves beyond what they believed possible.

As the hidden dungeon and the main dungeon merged, Raven could feel a similar resolve growing within him. He knew that he couldn't rely solely on his past knowledge in novel or the false notion of being a genius. Instead, he would need to embrace the challenges that lay ahead, honing his skills, and developing a mindset of continuous growth.

With each movement he took towards the merged dungeons, Raven left behind the remnants of his former self. The journey would be arduous, fraught with dangers and setbacks, but he was ready to face them head-on. The merger of the dungeons symbolized the convergence of his newfound determination and the harsh realities of this world.

At this moment, Raven understood that the path to becoming a true powerhouse was not an easy one. It required humility, perseverance, and a willingness to confront one's weaknesses. With his resolve firmly in place, he enters the gate, ready to embrace the challenges and transform himself into the person he aspired to be a powerhouse in this world full of powerhouse and chaos.

As Raven entered the hidden dungeon, he mustered his strength and rose from his wheelchair, gripping his cane adorned with a dragon pattern. With a gentle whisper, he conjured the power of wind magic, causing his body to levitate slightly above the ground. And then, with a swift gust of wind, he vanished into thin air, leaving Lilith in utter shock.

**Woosh!**

Lilith cried out, her voice carried away by the rushing wind. Determined not to be left behind, she shouted into the empty space, "Wait for me!" With a resolute spirit, Lilith followed the trail Raven had left behind, the crow wings echoing softly as she hurriedly made her way through the hidden dungeon.

On the other hand, Leo and the others experienced the crushing despair of their own weakness. Their strongest attacks proved feeble, akin to the bite of an ant before the immense might of the fearsome [Bakunawa]. Their once vibrant eyes faded, drained of color, as a sense of helplessness washed over them, leaving them feeling utterly defeated.

With disdain in its gaze, the [Bakunawa] locked its eyes upon the humans standing before it. Just as it prepared to deliver a devastating blow to end their existence, something unexpected happened.

The [Bakunawa] caught sight of the humans' faces, contorted with shock and disbelief. "Huh?" A momentary pause filled the air as the creature, filled with wonder, hesitated in its attack, intrigued by the unexpected reaction of its adversaries.

"Teacher!" Barnett shouted with all his might, his voice echoing through the battlefield. The others joined in, their voices murmuring the same word.

And there, atop the towering form of the [Bakunawa], Raven's back was turned towards his students, facing them with unwavering confidence.

Raven turned his head slightly, stealing a glance at the exhausted students, the characters of his own novel. His keen eyes quickly assessed the situation— their mana was depleted, rendering them defenseless against the overwhelming aura of the Mythical Divine Creature before them. With a strict tone, he said, "Wait for me outside, all of you already pass this trial."

As the students processed their teacher's words, confusion washed over them, but before they could voice their questions, a mighty force whisked them away, teleporting them to another location.

In the wake of the humans' sudden disappearance, the [Bakunawa's] gaze fell upon another human standing atop its head. A surge of anger coursed through the creature's veins, prompting a furious roar that reverberated through the surroundings, "Another feeble human!"

"Relax" Raven calmly retorted.

The Bakunawa launched a fierce attack, its tail lashing towards Raven, but in a swift move, Raven's dragon pattern cane collided with the creature's tail, creating a dazzling spark with a resounding "clang!"

Perched on Raven's shoulder, Lilith exclaimed, "Oh my goodness, it definitely has anger issues!" With a mischievous grin, she fluttered away from Raven's shoulder and observed from the sidelines like a curious bystander, thoroughly enjoying the unfolding battle before her eyes.

As the tail of the Bakunawa clashed with Raven's Dragon Sword Cane, a powerful impact propelled Raven backward through the air. The creature sneered, its ancient voice resonating with contempt, "Do you dare to challenge me with such feeble strength?"

"Why not?" Raven retorted with unwavering confidence. "You're merely a beast trapped in a cage." His voice remained calm as he continued, "Furthermore, you're only level 50. How many years have you been sealed? A 100,000 years or perhaps even a million?"

Unbeknownst to the Bakunawa, Raven's eyes gleamed with hidden knowledge as he accessed detailed information about the creature through his system panel.
