I looked down at my Stomach as fresh pain rippled through me sizing my muscle. The Heal pulse had helped but The shadow claw had done damage which can only be healed with time or so I was told. I looked at my side the bed had Gerninja on it while Chansey fuzzed with the drip connected.
I sighed still remembering the Insults that the goth Joy ( Nurse joy of Riverside )
I winced as I leant in to pat Gerninja
Slowly I rose from my bed pulling on the black trousers that had been with me from the start of my journey
I limped out of the room and went to the main room. the Room had Five people on the table with a candle in the centre. They talked in a hushed tone with Jack and Joy being amongst them.
The other two were Justin the guy who was in the Dark gang and two other trainers.
" Ah so you have woken up " Jack nodded to himself I sat next to him on the table.
" Here have some Stew " I looked up to see Joy handing me a bowl of Stew with Chansey hiding behind her
I grimaced at the stew or what was in the name of the stew
" Don't make that face now it is filled with nutrition and will help growing boys like you"
" Still can't believe you look like that under the Mask " Noted Justin who had been fascinated by my face for the past two days
My mask had been ripped off when I was brought in so that was that I guess
I shuddered suddenly as the food threatened to come out

" So what is the situation ?" while I wondered who made the food in The centre
In the past few days, I found out that the already destroyed Riverside was more destroyed. Looking out of the window The Riverside was now fully covered in a Space-Time distortion. This was what The white suits and Sakaki had done to capture more rare Pokemon and something else that they were in a desperate attempt to find in the field. While they had captured Iris and Berg all this while I had been asleep
Jack told me that he had almost died while escaping the cave but Pangoro had saved him.
On that day I almost died, almost. Maybe that is why I had that lucid dream which was almost too real.
I shook my head
" Sakaki and the white suits are in the old Gym of Riverside they have fortified the Gym and constructed the device on top of the Gym that sends frequent waves " Justin spoke mechanically as he typed on the laptop.
While the equipment worked perfectly but the Space-time distortion acted as a natural blocker.
The PC acted as a device to connect it didn't connect to the whole world only some parts were connected that too were wired not the fancy satellite in my previous world. The PC was only in the main Cities of this world those cities were under different Lords' rule.
while Riverside was once a Dutchie it was ruined so it is not considered a Dukedom but they had not retrieved The PC from there.
Sometimes this world just shows how backwards it is from the OG Pokemon world.

" So what is the plan? " I asked fiddling with my thumb as I raise my eyebrow
" We secretly go inside and blow the place to Smithers" Jack declared
" Wait what? " a panicked Justin asked
" I like it " Grinning I clapped
" What about Iris and Berg " Justin shouted
" Well who cares I don't wanna prioritize their life above mine " I spoke calmly at my side Jack nodded in agreement " and this mission will be highly unlikely to succeed if we try to have them"
" Then why to save at all " Justin angrily shouted
" While the life of one or two people is precious but if I risk them for the lives of many more then it is a risk well taken I believe in the greater good " I explained while the truth was far off whatever the White suits had prepared was threatening my existence and they would surely be a thorn in my side if I do not nip this bud
Like in all Pokemon franchises the villains usually have an absurd thought process
Justin after some thought reluctantly nodded
I pulled on a shirt and went downstairs, The Pc was still intact and working. this was a Pc that Jack and co had raided and had pulled the cords from the centre. The White suits had looted all the other PC in the Centre.
While it couldn't connect with the outside world it could still collect some scan of your Poke.
I pulled out The Pokeball that I had carried from the ruins. The zoroark that Pangoro had fainted was caught it seemed.
I released The Zoroark in a lit room with no shadows to phase through and it had been terrifying. The Zoroark had tried to attack multiple times the only thing that saved me was The pokeball which I used to return instantly. at least The Zoroark had eaten the food after getting tired which had some non Odor of sedatives.
After that had been a round of inspection through which The Zoroark had growled only when Nurse joy had pressed something which had it whining like a wounded dog.
But Zoroark was terrifying The way it locked its gaze on you was simply chilling.
Then I was told that Zoroark was a Female which was rare for the Zoroark line. Nurse Joy had been shocked when he had shown her the Pokemon thinking that it was a variant type but when I told her she had been gushing about it being a New line of Zorua.
While it was amusing seeing Goth Joy act as a nerd but I was more interested in the knowledge
So I found out that the line was very rare that only history had told about it and no living specimens had been found.
My first thought about Zoroark had been trading it for a Zorua, But why not try breeding it?
well I could not tame it even if I did Zoroark would not bond properly as most of her life she had been free and it was much easier if I train a Pokemon from the ground up as then I will know its strengths and weaknesses.
looking at the stats I shook my head and pocketed maybe I can get an infinite money thing
like selling all the Male Zoroark and none will be able to copy it.
While ditto would have been a problem if it was the Og world but here there was no Ditto so win-win.
Now all I had to do was try to breed her
I rubbed my hands as I thought about the future.

Jack's Pov
I was tired both mentally and physically as I plopped next to Justin and Rax one of the leather guys. ( The two guys who were not introduced )
I sighed to myself
" So what are you doing, " I asked Justin after a while
" Just trying to program " Justin answered nervously
I nodded as the conversation lulled back
" Who is that Guy ?" Rax asked in an impulse of the moment
Justin too looked interested
" Don't know, Don't care? " I said
" Well he seems a pretty Odd guy " Rax muttered to himself
" Well I met him in the Trails " I answered after a while
"So how was the first experience?" Justin asked curiously
" I still remember when they announced to partner and he approached me for partner seemed pretty professional " I shrugged but internally I still remember the first meeting vividly
Grey had walked up to me in an almost mechanical method his right eye which was the only one exposed made me uncomfortable his expression was stoic and emotionless with all he could detect in the cover of his mask.
It was almost like he didn't notice my presence
Still, after about a month of being with him, fighting with him and alongside him, I could not discern anything worthwhile.

The guy was a Professional maybe a trainer for Five or six years by the way he carried himself but his team said otherwise that was the hole I could not cover my only theory was that he is one of those who start all over again once they have trained sufficiently but it didn't explain a lot of things.
But still, he looked around my age about sixteen or seventeen so if he started when he was ten then he must be one of those prodigies that are allowed at ten.
Grey was an enigma he didn't once laugh or chuckle his emotions felt damped it seems even pain didn't make him cry or shock he just bore it stoically.
An image flashed in my mind of Grey laying on the floor of Palace as his intestines flowed out but still, he crawled towards the pokeball that he had used to catch Zoroark
I shook my head to get rid of the image
" Why do you ask, " I asked Rax
He shook his head and replied pulling out the severed head of a large Zoroark with fur still attached to it.
I was making this into a mask as he had requested but I needed inspiration and personality of him to make it suit him but I am too scared to ask him " Rax said as he stroked the head of The Alpha Zoroark
I shook my head Rax had been shocked when Grey had asked him to make it into a mask.
Grey's previous mask was torn with only the mouthpiece left enact the upper portion covering the eye was torn.
I guess he loves being anonymous.
Still, he was sharp looking under the mask.
