I looked around flashing my Torch in the dimly lit surroundings I was surrounded by thrown-away Kitchen appliances like Microwaves, Washing machines, Fans and coolers. This was the Electronic section of the Junkyard This was our Second night trying to find a Rotom. We found one of the Rotom and we were about to return when Justin glimpsed another who had run away as fast as he could.
It was a very hard task trying to catch a Rotom but Instead Justin had rather convinced the fellow by talking him into it.
I looked at my back to see Justin rummaging around a pile of electronics trying to find something useful
I had an idea about how to shorten our journey from here to Star city and this came to me in the form of a Lumberjack who had his Rotom in a Chainsaw machine. This gave me the idea of a Buggy running on electricity.
The plan was to make an Electric engine or pull one from a car and slap a chassis on it and some pipes. The rest will be done by The Rotom itself.
While Cars and trucks were available in this world they were all electric. Because electric engines make no noise which avoids the possibility of attracting unwanted attention. But this doesn't mean that Cars were cheap. There were very few cars and fewer Trucks as it required Maintenance and usually transportation could be done by Pokemon while there are chances of getting attacked in a car
Rumble rumble
I quickly turned to my left and whipped out Golett's pokeball which was the only one effective against Rotom.
Golett appeared with a flash.
He stood in front of me as a protector raising his arms in the position of Mud slap.
A washing machine rattled suddenly eyes popped on its head where the knobs usually are and the machine turned orange and started floating.
" Rot..tom," he said confusingly
" Quick Justin " I gestured to Justin to be ready
" Golett use Mud slap rapid shot" I yelled
Golett retracted his legs and shot floors of spinning Mud at him
It hit the washing machine and broke the glass in front.
Rotom shook and fell backwards before floating up again and using Thundershock
an arc of yellow electricity flew at him and hit him doing next to nothing damage because of his ground typing.
" Iron defence and defence curl then Rollout " I shouted
Golett glowed silver as his defence rose then he curled up and shot forward like a bullet out of a gun tearing through the machine
Rotom shuddered then came out in his small form giggling and shot towards a microwave possessing it.
The microwave hovered in the air giggling and suddenly its door popped open with a fire burning inside
" Golett use Mega punch " I shouted before Rotom could use Overheat
Golett reversed his direction and jumped up uncurling himself mid-air and threw a punch straight into the microwave destroying it.
Rotom fell uselessly
I pulled out a Great ball and stood in a stance while Justin walked forward with his shiny Beldum hovering over his side he crouched down and started whispering to the Rotom who had hung his head and was shaking.
I frowned it was a rare find but when I asked Justin about him he didn't seem particularly happy and told me his story. He said that he wanted to be an Electric-type specialist but to get away from home he had to be a trainer so he went recklessly into an Iron mine where an Iron eating Beldum's evolutionary line resided.
I shook my head at the memory it was a foolhardy thing to go in there alone with no Pokemon as the Metagross line are known for their Ruthless disposition and sometimes tend to follow the if-i-die-you-die-with-me rule and self explode causing a large explosion.
Maybe I could trade him with my Toxel who is dual electric poison.
Justin stood up turning to me
" You can catch him now," he said motioning to me.
I walked to Rotom and placed the pokeball in my hand but before Rotom could touch I backed away. he looked at me in confusion
" Rotom before I catch you I want to say that if you go with me you are free to go any time you want and I will not mistreat you," I said.
Rotom looked at me for a second then giggled nodding bouncing up and down giggling
I sighed and hit him with the great ball

I held the great ball and looked at Justin who was grinning cheerfully and then we made our way back to the van.
In front of our van was a pile covered with a tattered tarp to protect it from last night's rain I pulled it off revealing the content.
There it was the buggy we had made and had to take almost a week for us with the collective help of us and our Pokemons.
I sighed at the buggy it was mostly made of pipes twisted and attached in such a way as to form an eco skeleton on a car with narrowed front and back. The buggy has two seats which we had found in a truck that had been recently dumped in the junkyard. the shock absorbers we're too from the same truck. we had pulled a set of good off-roading wheels from a safari car and the windshield was made from some plastic-type material that was just as heavy and clear as glass but somewhat flexible as well.
I slowly slid my fingers across the metal dashboard which had a circular pattern on it as if beaten by a hammer
The dashboard had a computer in build right where the stereo should be In the front was an electric engine we had found in a Carrier truck still intact but in need of repair so we took it apart and modified it with other parts we found in the yard.
Now the only thing was to let Rotom possess the engine. I pulled out the great ball and released Rotom
his plastic body appeared in the air looking around then at me
" Can you enter the engine? " I asked gesturing towards the electric engine
Rotom zoomed forward entering the Buggy. suddenly the engine area turned Orange as eyes popped up in place of headlights looking inside the Interior too had turned Orange and black
After that, I and Justin carried all the necessities and loaded them in the Buggy. We had brought some clothes, food, pokemon food and some pokeballs.
I looked at the buggy which had been loaded up and turned around to go to the Residential area.
It was time to meet Rax whom I had given the Zoroark head.
I walked up to the apartment and rang the bell.
Tax the leather guy opened the door
" Ah, Grey it is you I had just completed your work the day before " He looked a bit ruffled with recognition in his eyes
I simply nodded and cracked my finger behind my back. I had always been awkward in public.
We entered the apartment where a small bed lay on the side with a desk with many metal tools on it from knives to hammers.
Rax pulled out the Zoroark mask from the desk.
It was magnificent with the fluffy hair still on top that had its read tips. I looked at it for a second before donning it. the mask had a filter in the build just as I had asked.
" That rebreather thing was hard to get my friend helped in getting it as well as setting it up " Rax spoke lightly nursing the hair.
" It is good " my tone gruff
Rax turned around set up his leather desk and opened the desk.
" You know it took me quite some time to work on it," He said lightly as he rummaged at the desk.
I pulled out something from my back. It was a kunai that I had placed in a bag at the back of the belt.
I prowled forward and before Rax could wipe back with whatever he had pulled out I stabbed it in his neck
Rax looked back at me in horror as he pulled out a gun.
I flipped to the side and disarmed him snatching the gun from him
Rax fell choking on his blood
" How did you know? " He asked
" I saw you at the battle at the power plant " I whispered
Indeed I had seen him at the battle he was the guy with the white suit man.
I placed my leg on his head and slammed it down crushing his head.
This part was vital because the psychic type could read broken memories from the dead.
I rummaged around the apartment finding anything useful. Many things were interesting with Three thousand in currency with some books. While there were no poke balls it was still quite a lot.
I whipped open the window and jumped down with a blanket full of stuff.
I turned around and cocked my right arm and threw a lighter in the window setting it on fire and ran away before someone noticed me.
