His job was selling vegetables to customers.

The language of this world, surprisingly, was English.
This world was the normal Japanese Iskai world. He was not a fan of JP Isekai novels.
JP isekai novel MC were mostly wimpy and beta they usually had harem of girls around them but they didn't even hold hands of any of the girls let alone kiss them and s.e.x is like a non existent to them.
Remaining JP MC were R.a.p.e.ist, who has different types of s.e.x related powers who did nothing but r.a.p.e the girls.

Not all of them were like this, but still the majority were this type of MCs. So, he lost interest in JP novels entirely.
But he knew this world was not the JP Iskai world. There are different planets in the universe. This theme fits Chinese novels more.

At the stall a middle-aged lady said ," Hey young man, are these vegetables fresh?"

"Then give me a cauliflower, 1kg ladies finger,1kg potato, 1 kg onion and 1 kg tomatoes."
"Sure, mam, do you want anything else?" Robert asked.

The middle-aged lady paid the money.

After the lady went to the next stall for shopping, he quickly opened his system because there was a new message there.
