It's like he knew that I needed it, my thoughts slowly faded away till I could only think of the music playing and whoosh of the breeze on my face and the lovely scent of the car.
"So...I guess I should take you home right now." He said, though more like he asked as we almost passed by our school.
"No, I'm supposed to go with Jake. Or did we spend much time?"
"Well, I don't know but since you didn't tell him were you where, he might assume that you've gone home since you're no longer attending basketball practice."
"Whatever." I said, not really minding. The truth was that I was enjoying every bit of this drive and I wasn't ready to alight yet.
"Your address?" He asked.
"I thought Sally told you." I replied indignantly.
He gave me a poker face.
I rolled my eyes and told him where I lived, offering to direct him there.
We drove for another couple of minutes, till we were almost at my street.
