"He is kind. He doesn't talk too much and sometimes feels a bit stiff, but he is a caring person and is not stingy," said Javin. "You saw what he did last night, right?"
August nodded. Last night when he came to the mini market where Javin worked, Forth--the man who bought their lunch package a few days ago, was there, chatting with Javin.
Forth paid for what August bought, when he paid. According to Javin, the man always paid more for what he bought from the mini market. He even bought health supplements which he then gave to Javin than for himself.
"Javin, even though he's good, but You still have to be careful," said Leon in a firm tone. "Today, many bad people are good at dressing themselves up in good looks. You know, most psychopaths are people who are known as nice people in their environment?"
Javin laughed. He understood what Leon meant. "Yes, I know. However, somehow I believe that Phi Forth is really a good person and one more thing, he is also not a random person. At least I'm sure he's a rich man."
"I think Javin's right about that, Leon. You remember the lunch he ordered to entertain his client back then? Not to mention what he bought for us? He bought a lot and I saw his friend swipe credit card with no time limit to pay," said August.
"Yes, that's true. He always uses cards like that to pay. Cards like that only belong to certain people, right?" Javin said.
"Still, you have to be careful," Leon insisted.
"Sure, Papa, I'll do as you say," said Javin, smiling politely.
August chuckled at Leon's sour face from Javin's answer and demeanor. Leon had always been overprotective of Javin, as he was of his son.
"Jav, have you got a new job yet?" asked August.
"Of course not, Gust. I'll hold off until Mrs. Drew moves out. As long as the convenience store hasn't sold, I can still get by with the goods in the convenience store. Mrs. Drew leaves it to me to manage. It's as if she giving me the opportunity to trade without me having to pay for the capital," said Javin happily. "You can also buy anything there without having to pay, because everything is already mine. However, it is exclusively for the two of you and Phi Forth."
"How about housing?" asked Leon.
"Since I'm still going to run the mini market, I can automatically stay there. Mrs. Drew gave me a power of attorney to represent her if anyone is interested in buying the building. She also asked me to take care of the building as long as it hasn't been sold."
"That's great," Leon responded. "Not that I hope the building doesn't sell out quickly, but it would be great if you could stay in there at least until you graduate."
Javin laughed. He was very grateful to Mrs. Drew for her kindness and had promised to help her with a mini market that was built in an old building that was not too big and was on a street that was not too busy.
Javin hopes the building can be sold soon so Mrs Drew can get the money soon. After all his rich son would have to pay for her life, but Mrs Drew would have been very happy if she had her own money.
Javin heard that the one-story building was inherited by Mrs. Drew from her grandfather when she was a teenager and had only been slightly renovated when she was going to build a mini market.
"Leon, I've already submitted the report for Sunday's lab assignment, so now I can go home, right?" asked Javin while packing his book into his bag. "I have to clean up the warehouse."
"You need help?" Leon asked.
Javin smiled and shook his head. "No, don't worry. I'll just sort some expired items and rearrange the storefront after that."
"Call us if you need help," August said. "I'll be working on a revision of my report for professor Inga's assignment, but I'll come if you need me."
"Sure, August. Now, I'm leaving. Bye, guys."
Javin left his friends with his car. He had only been driving for a few minutes when his car suddenly broke down.
Luckily he was driving at standard speed and on a less busy side of the road. Javin dismounted and used all his strength to push the car aside so as not to disturb the other.
He opened the hood and examined carefully. This old sedan car is the only thing left from his parents' estate. This car was given to Javin on his 17th birthday. He loves the car.
Javin was checking the battery when a nice black sedan pulled up and stopped in front of his car. A tall man stepped out of the driver's door and took off his sunglasses. He approached Javin.
"Hey, Nong Javin, what are you doing here?"
Javin turned his head and was surprised to see who the man approached him. "Oh, Phi... Kwan, right? Friend of Phi Forth?"
Kwan smiled and nodded. He saw Javin's open car engine. "Your car broke down?"
"Yes, Phi. I don't know why, its suddenly died."
"Have you checked?"
"I think it's the alternator that's the problem, because I see the fuel filter and battery are all fine."
Kwan looked closely at the car's engine. "This car is old, Nong. Many spare parts must be replaced," said Kwan while cleaning his hands. "I'll help you. Just a moment."
Kwan took his phone and dialed someone. "Ming, can you send a tow truck to 17th Central Street? There's a white sedan that broke down. I'll be waiting here."
Kwan hung up. "Well, that's settled. In a moment someone will come and take your car to the garage."
"But, Phi, I don't have the money to pay for the repairs yet," said Javin worriedly. "I intend to call a free tow truck to just get this car to my place."
Kwan smiled and patted Javin gently on the shoulder. "Don't think about it. Now, you better get in my car. I'll take you home, but first you need to come with me to Forth's house."
Suddenly Javin's heart beats louder, hearing Kwan's words. He went to Forth's house?
"But, I'm embarrassed, Phi," said Javin nervously.
"Hey, why? Forth will definitely be happy to see you. Maybe, he'll drop you off himself later."
Javin felt his body warm and his cheeks turned pink. "I'm afraid Phi Forth will find me troublesome."
Kwan smiled. "Forth is quite an introvert, but while lately there's been a lot of talk about a medical student who works at a convenience store and often gives him extra cheese, I know you're special to him."
This time Javin really blushed. Luckily a tow truck arrived, so Kwan was immediately busy watching the car overtake the car.
Kwan motioned for Javin to get into his car after the tow truck had left. "Don't worry, Nong, they will take good care of your car. The auto repair shop is under the automotive company of Phi Wine, Forth's brother," Kwan explained. "Well, we've arrived."
Kwan stopped the car in front of a large tall iron gate. He took a remote control from the glove compartment and slowly the gate opened as Kwan pressed a button.
Javin's eyes widened when he saw what was in front of him.
