"Hello, my name is Scarlett Rose, it's a pleasure to meet you."
A stunning woman was standing in front of Kane. Her ruby-like eyes were cold and sharp, and her lips are red like blood. She has an aura of a warrior that has been through many battles, but what surprised Kane is that she wasn't an elf.
"We'll as she said, this is Scarlet, my 6th wife. And as per the rewards I'll be giving her to you."
Loren pushed Scarlet toward Kane forcefully, and Scarlet reluctantly walked forward. She kept her head down the entire time, keeping her eyes glued to the ground.
"Oh, I almost forgot, here."
Loren handed Scarlet a black ring.
"My last gift as your husband. Make sure to put it on."
Loren had his eyes closed, and his mouth was smiling, but Scarlet can tell he had malicious intent hidden in those words.
Scarlet slowly turned around and grabbed the ring in Loren's hand.
"Well, I suppose that concludes our match. I hope to never see you again, Kane."
His face was still smiling, but Kane knew he was plotting something.
Loren walked himself out of the arena and left in his carriage.
Kane looked at the woman bowing her head in front of him and thought, 'Sigh* looks like I have another woman to take care of."
"Hello there, my name is Kane Vond, it's nice to meet you."
Scarlet simply nodded her head still keeping her head down. She already put on the ring, but nothing seemed to happen. Kane looked at the ring in her hand and his mind went to thinking.
'Loren doesn't seem like a guy that would gift people, he more likely would take things away from them instead. The way she's acting makes it seem like she's being forced as well. That ring definitely has some curse on it. He also said she also has a curse on her. Should I just turn her into my servant?'

Kane was speechless. Compared to his stats this woman is a monster. If they had a fight before she was cursed, he would've died 10 times over.
'She really is cursed, 'cause if she wasn't I don't think she would've been Loren's wife considering I beat the shit out of him.'
'Zoey, does becoming my servant really get rid of curses?'
[Although not mainly the main cause, yes. By linking your soul their fate is linked to you. Your soul seems to destroy harmful effects that can be detrimental to the user, therefore curses are removed as well.]

Kane looked at Scarlet for a second, then said.
"Scarlet, do you wanna be cured?"
Scarlet finally looked at Kane, and her facial expression finally changed. Her eyes opened slightly, and her eyebrows furrowed.
'Loren was giving me away, I thought he'd give me to some old man, but I didn't expect him to be this handsome.'
"Scarlet?"
"Oh, yes."
She closed her eyes again and bowed her head.
'Zoey, umm how do I make someone my servant again? The last couple of times I was pretty much forced to accept them, now I have to do it myself.'

'That's it? No wonder I keep getting into trouble, it's that easy to contract someone. Alright, let's give it a shot then.'
Kane closed his eyes and said, "Scarlet Rose."
A familiar prompt popped in front of him.

Kane pressed the button, then a beautiful orange light came out of Kane's body. The elves from the audience were shocked to see a light similar to that of the rising sun.
"Is the sun rising?"
"Didn't it set a long time ago?"
"Look Kane is glowing!"

The light continued to glow brightly. Scarlet who was in front of everything was shocked.
'This…'
The light from Kane, slowly flowed toward Scarlet. It wrapped around her entire body and lifted her off the ground.
A vivid image of a phoenix was behind her. Scarlet's ruby-like eyes glowed a bright orange. Her hair fluttered and began glowing, orange light emanated from her whole body.
Soon the light began to die down, and she gently floated back to the ground.
The light completely disappeared and Scarlet's crimson hair had a more vibrant look. Scarlet looked at herself in disbelief.
'H-He really cured me.'
"Umm, are you alright? Sorry, I forgot to tell you how the process was gonna go. But it looks like everything went alright."
Kane looked at her status again.

Scarlet seemed to be muttering something, but Kane couldn't hear it. He could if wanted to, but he didn't want to go through her privacy.
'She must be happy to finally feel free again. I did the same to Laura too and she was happy, the only person that's not is Angelica. Sigh* I need to raise my divinity so I can cancel our contract. I feel bad forcing her to be with me. Wait, didn't she say her temple was in trouble?'
'…Shit. Guess I need to finish everything here and go there as soon as possible.'
Kane was thinking to himself unaware of what Scarlet was doing.
Scarlet's muttering became louder.

Scarlet jumped onto Kane. Her giant breasts cushioned his face. They both fell to the ground, and Scarlet was on top of him.
Kane was suffering in bliss, while Laura watched them in anger. Her face started to grow red and her brows furrowed.
She had enough and tried to pull Scarlet off of him.
"Get off of him!"
Since Scarlet was stronger, she didn't budge at all from Laura's pulling. She kept hugging Kane, but it seems Kane had enough.
'I can't breathe! She's too strong!'
He began tapping on her arm, and Scarlet belatedly realized what was going on. She quickly let go of Kane and stood up. Kane was heaving on the ground, with a red face, but his smile says he enjoyed it.
"Oops sorry, I got a little excited there."
"It's… Fine."
Kane instantly recovered and stood up.
"I'm guessing that worked. You seem completely different now than when I first met you."
"Sorry, I had my guard up since that bastard was here."
"Bastard eh? Sounds like you don't like the guy."
Scarlet's face turned scary. An aura of death came from her body.
The elves were shocked watching everything happening but were relieved nothing happened, but then they were shocked again when they felt her killing intent.
"Terrifying!"
"Wait is that the."
"Blood Empress."
"What is she doing here in the Elf kingdom!"

Kane looked at Laura, her face was pale, and her eyes were quivering. Seeing her afraid, Kane felt pain in his heart.
Scarlet was still releasing her killing intent unconsciously, then.
The atmosphere instantly turned cold. The fiery aura she was releasing vanished. Kane released his killing intent and his aura instantly covered the entire area. Kane controlled it to an extent to which Laura wouldn't feel it. Her face went back to normal and relief was on her face.
Scarlet woke up from her stupor feeling killing intent in front of her. Realizing what was happening, she calmed down and stopped.
Kane stopped as well.
The elves were frightened by Scarlet's killing intent, but Kane's was indescribable. It was as if a god was in front of them.
"Scarlet, I understand you're angry, but please keep it to yourself."
His voice was a little cold, and Scarlet flinched when she heard it and her body was instinctively telling her to run away.
'I'm scared?'
"I'm sorry, I got upset thinking about him."
Kane sighed and looked at her.
"It's fine, I'm sure I would feel the same if I were you."
Kane walked toward Laura and hugged her, he patted her head and said, "Are you okay?"
Laura feeling his warm hands patting her head was happy, and her anger from before dissipated.
"Un."
Scarlet watched them hug, and jealousy rose within her.
Still, she kept it within her and showed a calm smile.
A voice from the entrance came and everyone recognized who said it.
"It seems everyone has been having fun without me."
"So what did I miss?"
