Magnus opened the door of his private room inside the divine temple. Euris followed right after he entered.
'Thud.' Magnus shut the door and sighed as he gestured for Euris to sit as they looked at each other's gaze, both plastering a serious look.
Magnus glanced at the ground and sat in front of Euris.
"So what is it that you want to talk about?" Euris crossed his arms as Magnus gazed up at him and took a deep breath.
"Brother, our family has been looking forward for you to comeback—"
"And what nonsense would I believe in those words?" Euris tone was strong as his eyes glaringly plastered at Magnus.
"Brother, they want you back," Magnus said as his gaze lingered back to the ground as his pupils trembled.
Just by those words, Euris gripped tightly along his arm as he hissed.
"After all these years, brother...? Have they had no shame?" Euris said as he raised his head and slightly raised his brow.
"Brother, I..." Magnus wanted to talk, but he bit his lips and squeezed his eyes.
"Magnus, I've already separated myself from the family the moment I inherited our mother's maiden name," Euris said firmly as Magnus nodded in silence.
"Don't give me the reason to cut you off too."
"Yes, I know."
"What are they up to anyway...?"
Magnus sighed as he gazed straight into Euris eyes.
"Lately, many citizens have gone missing throughout the region. You know our family is strongly accustomed to divine healing, but that is not what matters; the world needs you right now."
Euris eyes flickered from his sentence.
"They have been recruiting Paladins lately in the divine temple. They wanted you to be back and become the commander," Magnus continued as Euris gritted his teeth.
"Huh, I'm not surprised. They wanted me back just because they needed me." Euris smirked as Magnus looked away from him as they fell into a long silence.
"I actually would love to have you back in the family."
"We are family. But I no longer take the name of Claymoon. I am a Cloudflaw now; don't you think it's easy to forget the hate I suffered from our family, little brother...?"
Magnus sighed and lowered his head.
"I know that, brother; they shouldn't have abandoned you like that because you have not inherited the healing powers of our bloodline." Magnus mumbled softly.
"I am proud of my divine powers, Magnus. I'd rather possess offensive and defensive abilities than inherit the power that our ancestors had.
They are looking down on me just because I don't have it." Euris glared as he clenched his hands into fists.
"But whatever happens, it was all in the past... I no longer want to trouble myself with the Claymoon family," Euris said, and he waved his hands dismissively.
"It's not that I want to offend you, brother. But it's important. The people need you... Not our family. I need you."-Magnus said, full of emotions as his face bore a gloomy look-"Please, think about it, brother."
His tone was soft and desperate, while Euris, on the other hand, was staring at him intently as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Fine. I'll think about it."
Magnus face was immediately enlightened.
"But don't be so sure that I'd be accepting this."
"It's fine, brother. Thank you for your consideration."
Euris smiled and looked outside the window, his gaze fixed on the sky.
'I had definitely heard about the issues in the Kingdom recently... Even his majesty has already informed us in advance. I wonder what's going through his head.
And the citizens disappearance in random regions? Is it really a coincidence... Or perhaps it's connected to my little Seyric's incident.'
Euris frowned as he clenched his jaw and sighed. 'But I can't be so sure... I guess I have to find out myself by all means.'

Vesper stood in front of the platform, next to the teacher, who made a few exchanges as both of them glanced at the door where Seyric was standing.
Seyric's hand held onto his arm while he stared at them as he flickered his eyes with hint of curiosity.
Until then, Vesper suddenly gestured for him to come in as he entered the room, with every eye of the students in the room plastered into his way.
"Good morning, everyone." Vesper smiled amongst the crowd as Seyric stood beside him and placed his hand on Seyric's shoulder.
"I'd like you guys to meet Seyric Cloudflaw. He will now start joining the class with you starting today," Vesper said as the class started to chatter softly and exchange glances towards Vesper and Seyric.
"Why does his grace, the headmaster, bring someone into the class out of the blue?"
"Do you know him?"
"No, I haven't seen him."
"Is he perhaps close to his grace?"
"Or is he related to the bloodline of the Covenbreath Dukedom...?"
The crowd chattered as the teacher clapped his hand and said, "Students, settle down."
The crowd immediately fell silent as the teacher turned to Vesper.
"I'll leave him to you, Ahrton," Vesper said as Ahrton bowed his head towards him.
"Yes, your grace, you can count on me," Ahrton said firmly before Vesper turned to Seyric.
"You do well in class, and go make your father proud."
Seyric looked up to him with his eyes slightly shaken and nodded as he bowed. "I thank you, your grace."
He smiled before he left, leaving Seyric standing in front of the silent crowd, fixed in his direction.
"You may take your seat."
Seyric nodded and bowed before he marched into the stretch of seats. He constantly glanced back and forth while others followed his way only with their pupils.
Faces displayed different looks of curiosity, disinterest, and annoyance. He marched for a few moments until he reached the empty seat in the second row from the back.
A boy was seated; his hair was as dark as the night sky, and his eyes bore a striking resemblance to an oak-wood brown as his pupils and head turned onto his way.
Seyric sat next to him as the man took a glance at him, and they fell silent while the teacher started to discuss.
"We have classes of different types in Beast Tamer Academy. We can make a contract from both spirits and a beast or even wild animals. We are familiar with the Beast Tamer as it is known as the Tamer Class and on the other hand, it is known as Spirit Class.
Beasts or animals can be tamed with specific items that we can't disclose to the students here in class. Aside from that, we had a magic contract, or even a mutual contract." Ahrton explained up front.
While the student next to Seyric had been staring at him the whole time, Seyric matched his glance as both of them had a long staring contest before they both looked away.
"We have a different class type you can pursue in Tamer Class; for instance, you want Beast Tamer Class, which, as we know, was once settled for taming beasts."
"Hey," the boy mumbled next to Seyric as he glanced at him.
"I'm Owerhn." The boy's voice was enthusiastic as he offered his hands towards Seyric.
"Seyric,"
Owerhn pouted for a moment as he took his hand back and cleared his throat.
"Cool, are you somewhat connected to his grace, Duke Covenbreath?" he asked.
While Seyric looked back in front of the class as he shook his head at Owerhn's statement.
"And the other is a Beast Druid Class; as you know, this class is not as easy to pursue, since his grace was the only S+ Tier in the Beast Druid Class.
With all the beasts you've made a contract with, you can wield their powers as your own, as well as turn into their resemblance or even become one with them and be able to harness the maximum power they have. Although all Tamer Class have access on this route not all are able to control it."
"That's too bad... How are you with his grace then? You both seemed pretty close." Owerhn commented as Seyric sighed.
"My father works for him."
"Ah, okay." Owerhn bit his lips for a moment as he smiled. "Say, do you want to go for lunch later?"
Seyric glanced at him as he blinked his eyes for a moment. "Lunch...?"
"Yeah, you and I. Let's be friends."
Owerhn offered his hands once more as Seyric glanced at him while Owerhn was shaking them in the air.
"Come on, two is better than one, right?"
Seyric took a long while before he finally shook his hands, which made Owerhn smile.
