Chapter 2 - Epsiode #2

I try to rationalize my thoughts, but it's impossible. 'What do I tell him? That I'm from another world? No...he wouldn't believe me, and if he did I don't know if things would go smoothly. So what? What do I tell him?'

He sees the panick wash over me and sighs in relief. Which in turn utterly confuses me. "So you don't know what you are either? You look more confused then I am." He stops for a moment, then continues. "But what exactly is a vampire? And how do you know about it?"

I tense up, "Well I read an old book about it from what I remember. It said that they fed on human blood, and have sharp fangs and pale skin. I don't know about the red eyes and black hair though. I don't know what's happened to me. I never looked like this before, I know that for sure."

I look at him nervously, hoping that he'd believe me. Hoping I wouldn't be thrown out because I'm a monster.

"So you're a new race? It's been centuries since we've round a new race! My goodness what a day to be alive! I'll have to tell my father immediately! I'll help you friend! You'll live a fine life I promise. As long as you tell everyone that I was the first person to help the new race! I'll be famous!" He starts giggling to himself.

'I don't know whay to say...this guys is kind but very...weird to say the least.'

I smile to myself, "Yeah of course, thank you for being so understanding!"

He jumps up out of his chair, "Yessss! We'll be the most famous royalty ever!"

He puts his hand on my shoulder and gives me a big grin. "Come with me, we'll take off to my fathers right away. Guard, go get the carriage ready immediately."

We arrive at a huge castle, I could never even imagine something this huge in my life. The streets are full of people buying things from stalls, kids running around, and guards dressed in heavy armor patrolling around.

Everich's Guard slams his foot on the ground as Everich steps out of the carriage and every looks towards him. They immediately get nervous and bown towards him, eyeing me suspiciously aswell. I can tell why, they wonder why I'm not bowing too.

Everich just ignores them and guides me through the main doors of the castle, through massive chambers and halls to his fathers room.

I barely get time to absorb the beauty of the palace as Everich and his guard usher me along.

He stops in front of a grand door full of golden trim and patterns. "Ready to meet my father?" He says with an incredibly toothy grin.

I nod as he opens the door. His grin growing wider by the second.

His eyes change as soon as I step foot in the room, 'somethings wrong!'

But it's too late, a man dressed in heavy armor slams his swords pommel into my temple, knocking me out cold.
