I grit my teeth, "Die you deplorable bastards!"
I wave my hand towards them, sending several spears at them. They try to block the spears but fail, the spears through their knives effortlessly.
They fall to the ground, bleeding profusely. I smile and start to laugh manically before...
.
.
.
I open my eyes, sitting up straight on the bed. 'A...dream...it was all a dream.'
I hold my hand out in front of me, 'That power felt so...real. Foresight maybe? It felt too real, there's no way..."
I remember the torture I went through in the dream, the way it felt. The feeling of the cold air slowly chipping away at my body and my mind. 'It was too real to just be an ordinary dream.'
I'm far too stuck in thought to notice a woman standing in the doorframe of a door I never even noticed.
"Hello? Sir? Breakfast is ready, and the masters had me bring some clothes for you as well."
She walks up to the bed and places down the clothes and bows before she exits the room.
I sit still for a moment. A little surprised that she's treating me like some kind of prince. After all I was a slave yesterday...or wait...wasn't that a part of the dream? "What the hell is happening?" I ask myself to no avail.
I get up out of bed and put on the clothes the woman gave me. Their very elegant, though their also very macabre. Tassels stream down from my shoulders, waist and smaller tassels on the cuffs of my shirt. Almost everything is black with small touches of red.
'I love this style...'
There is also an a pair of thin fingerless gloves. I realize that they took my long fingernails into consideration. There's also a pair of black leather boots sitting by the door. "Hmm...this feels a little too good to be true."
I hear a knock on the door and turn to the door, the woman from earlier walks in as I'm finishing the last button on my shirt.
"You look fantastic sir, the Vampeers will be very well known once you make your speech, especially in this attire. The masters took extra care looking for clothes thay would suit your appearance. Do make sure to thank them."
"Thanks, and I will. Also I'm a Vampire, not Vampeer."
She shoots a glare, "Don't overstep, you would be a dead body rotting in a cage if it weren't for the masters."
She quickly walks away.
'All that just because I corrected her mistake? She doesn't like me, but why? Maybe that means the torture in the cage eas actually real too.'
I follow her out of the room.
I'm stunned when I walk out of the room. We're in mansion that feels like a castle. Chandeliers decorate the ceiling. With what looks like three floors with what looks like dozens of maids moving in and out of rooms.
I'm sitting at the third floor, golden trimmed railings are all that stops me from falling down.
I feel a hand on my shoulder and turn around.
It's a knight. Dressed in heavy armor with a sword and sheild in possession.
"Follow me." He says.
He clanks his way down each floor, and guides me in front of a very heavily decorated door on the first floor.
Every maid we pass is in a rush, doing everything they can to clean the place up. Some come out of what I assume is the kitchen with platters of food. Always bringing them Into one, single room.
"Having a party?" I ask the knight.
He brushes me off and continues walking.
Once we get to the room he just stands waiting patiently. After a few minutes of waiting I get impatient.
"What are we waiting for?" I ask him.
"For the masters to get done talking." He says in an annoyed tone.
'Rough crowd for sure. These guys must have woke up in the wrong side of bed.'
The door opens and a man dressed in what could only be described as a kings robe walks out with a posse of knights in tow. His presence itself is monstrous, he gives off an enormously powerful aura.
When he's finally walked away I finally get the chance to breath.
"Holy shit." I say in fear.
The knight puts his hand on my shoulder and brings me into the room.
Another man, this time dressed in overalls and a fedora is sitting in a desk with his hands together. There's also a woman sitting on the windowsill behind him with her arms crossed dressed just like the man in front of her.
The knight sits me down in a seat in front of the man's desk and stands next to me, straightening his posture.
The man looks at me with warm eyes. "Welcome Lord..?"
'Huh? Lord? Who is he-'
The knight rests his hand on my shoulder. "That's you, speak up...now."
The nonchalantly throws a dagger at the knight, of which the knight catches. Both of them lightening fast. "That's no way to speak to the King of a new race Boveld..."
The knight chuckles, "Since when were we up tight about respect Lord Sabbath?"
Lord Sabbath chuckles aswell, "Though that may be true, this man will be your very own brother in arms! Does he not deserve something of the sort?"
Boveld finally takes his hand of my shoulder and fixes his gaze on me. "With all do respect Lord Sabbath, he must earn my respect."
Lord Sabbath rests his chin on his hands. "Well, that's fine with me. I understand your choices Boveld."
Boveld bows and stands straight again.
Lord Sabbath fixes his gaze back on me. "Now tell me, what is your name?"
I bow slightly, as best I can in a chair. "My name is Rael...Lord Sabbath."
Lord Sabbath smiles, "Rael...what a good name. Well, most likely to your surprise you have been rescued by the Lord of the biggest assassin guild on this continent. The Human Extermination Guild. H.E.G for short."
'Wait...what?!'
