Chapter 7 - A new toy

Their daily routines did not vary much ...

Bolt Uzumaki went out very early every morning. He first had breakfast in the kitchen with him along with his mother and sister, and then moved to a training camp, in search of raising his level. He walked slowly, greeted the same old men who crossed the street, and was about to buy the same things as usual when he returned. Almost no one, among the civilians Bolt had seen, learned that he was in jail on charges of murder. Just as young Uzumaki had assumed, his father had not allowed the news of his capture to get onto the streets. Which he would surely be appreciating internally, deep in his office today.

However, shortly after he walked, Bolt began to observe that he was being watched closely. He could notice it in his first private training, the day after that "clarifying conversation" with the Hokage. Then while he was having lunch at any food stall, and finally when he visited Sarada. He always had some shadows following in his footsteps. Were they sent by his father? Could it be the Hyuuga? Could the Inuzuka be looking for a rematch? There was someone whom Bolt hadn't been able to completely fool. Although it didn't really matter. Not for the moment at least. But he had to find out eventually who it was. To act accordingly.

Just as he had promised Sakura, in the first days after releasing her, he had a private conversation with Sarada, and decided to leave her. At first, when he had agreed to the terms of his girlfriend's mother, Bolt thought that he did indeed feel nothing for Sarada Uchiha. That entangled as he had been with Sakura, he verified that Sarada did not mean too much to him.

Yet when he looked into her eyes, those beautiful deep dark eyes, Bolt felt a stitch in her heart. Sarada was not only his girlfriend, she was also his oldest friend. They had practically grown up together. While the blonde talked about separating, he thought and rethought everything he had experienced. When Sarada tried to enter his mind, when they first kissed. Bolt reflected that on that occasion, he accepted Sarada's feelings as a form of replacement for her. Actually, he had been wanting Sakura Uchiha for a long time, and her daughter was like the past version of her object of desire. They were very similar, mother and daughter, in physical matters, and in what Sarada could be as a woman in the future. That's what Bolt thought that afternoon, when he agreed to become the boyfriend of his best friend.

Time passed, and contrary to estimates it was not a disaster.

Bolt was still very anxious about Sakura. So much that he irritated her when he was around her. But he found himself in trouble quickly, because he had to hide from Sarada the tense situation that she lived with respect to her mother. Step by step, he began to notice some stark differences between mother and daughter. And when he had to study the psychological reports on Sakura Uchiha, already determined to act against her, he could figure out the patterns that clearly differentiated her from Sarada. Although physically they were similar, mentally they had a different structure.

-Sarada-chan….-Bolt told her after she pounced on him and kissed her on the lips tenderly- we have to talk…

She shuddered slightly, felt the impact of those words even before even guessing her intentions. They went to a quiet place, Bolt still knew he was being watched relentlessly. They went, to the hammocks behind the Shinobi Academy. It was not a school day for the children, no one would disturb the situation.

-Surely you've known what happened ... -initiated Bolt, who inwardly admitted to be costing him more than he thought- I ... I don't know what to say.

-Don't worry Bolt-kun ... -she smiled slightly, although she had a bad feeling- everything is cleared up. I knew that you weren't guilty of that.

Bolt knew exactly where the guy guarding him was. Advantages of having a secret skill. So he moved sideways a bit, still sitting next to Sarada, and while he was speaking normally, he began to perform sign language with his hands, very useful for dangerous missions. While his hands were covered from the spy down his back. He told his friend, "I'm being watched." And he with her mouth clarified:

-I have problems with my parents Sarada-chan. –He smiled just when he noticed that his friend had understood the signs- and I think these problems can reach you.

-For what reason?

-Because it doesn't matter what they can or cannot prove. –Announced the blond, understanding that the question from his friend went directly to his encrypted message- but to discover how far we can go in certain situations. And above all, how far can they go.

Sarada thought about it for a moment. Why? Why did they have the idea that someone like Bolt could murder in cold blood? What reason could her boyfriend have in any case? Kiba Inuzuka, he was just a friend of both families who went from conquest to conquest more than preoccupied with any other matter. Sarada was left in a trance, while Bolt spoke of any other matter that neither of them mattered. He noticed, that she was thinking deeply, and the small talk was only to distract the eyes that followed them. Or if necessary, the ears that listened to them in the dark. Finally, in the middle of a talk that made no sense to anyone, Sarada seemed to react:

-What are we going to do? –She asked with deep seriousness.

Bolt smiled slightly, coldly and with an air of sadness. He had actually come to leave her. But she Sarada knew him so well, that she would immediately have suspected something strange. The last thing the Uzumaki needed was to have a jealous ex-girlfriend chasing him around the village like a bulldog. Sarada was quite possessive of the beings she loved. To the point of losing his calm and that analytical mind that she highlighted in her work. Furthermore, she couldn't hurt to prevent an outburst of Uchiha hatred. Bolt had had to swallow the history of every clan in the village of the blade, during his training in Root. And that part in particular made him rethink the idea of being overly cruel.

"I was thinking ..." Bolt said, letting the spy read his lips perfectly, "that we should separate."

-W ... what?

-Sarada-chan you are a good friend. But ... - she looked at him sideways to continue the story - we both know that this relationship will not go anywhere.

-Bolt-kun ... that's not true ...

"Yes it is ..." clarified the blonde already completely involved in what he was coming to do, "for example this ..." he took out of his clothes a scroll with the symbol of the Uchiha clan on it "you gave me this roll of poems weeks ago. Do you really not understand the situation? I am not interested in your poems. We have been dating for almost a year, and despite my intentions you have no interest in being with me. I want to fuck, just that.

Sarada didn't understand anything. What was happening? Was he leaving her? Was she begging him for sex? Was it true or a lie?

-Bolt-kun I already explained it to you a long time ago…. -She said ruefully- my father…

-Your father! Your father! It's the only thing I hear you talking about Sarada-chan. –The blonde roared with artificial annoyance and walked by the restless place- your father this, your father the other… –he dropped the parchment to the ground with contempt and pointed- So… I think it must be our end. I return your poems to you, and I hope you can be happy with your father.

And he left, at a safe pace and without expecting her to react in any way. Boruto left, and Sarada stared at the ground while her eyes moistened between the glasses. Why? Why had she said such horrible things to him? That didn't look like the usual Bolt. It was like a performance. Barely able to stand, her body was too heavy for him. Sarada Uchiha was trying her best not to cry. She walked slowly, picked up the parchment Bolt had thrown away like trash, and retreated to the shelter of her home. She directly to lock herself in her room and with the prospect of not leaving him until death.

Meanwhile, the spy in the distance waited a reasonable time not to discover himself. Some time later, he disappeared in a swirl of leaves and followed after Boruto Uzumaki. His mission objective.

Dinner at the Uchiha house has never been so bitter and sad ...

Sakura watched her daughter, and she could hardly believe the devastating effect her breakup with Bolt Uzumaki had caused him. Sasuke as always, dined in silence without caring about anything, but now Sarada in front of her father, seemed like a perfect female version. As apathetic and silent as her parent. She is not willing to even look up to say a word to any of her parents.

A week, only a week had passed since the afternoon where she returned holding back crying and locked herself in her room without opening it to anyone. And contrary to the common reaction that would have been expected of her, he did not try to contact Bolt again. She, too, did not prepare to expel the rage that gnawed at her in a tough training session. Sakura had caused the situation indirectly. But she could barely comprehend the nuances of consequences that were presented before her eyes.

She sent a message to Sasuke, telling him what happened as a daily thing, and got a sudden and unexpected interest from the subject. The man returned two days after receiving the message, and pretended to be part of his "family" as perhaps never had happened before. Had he worried about his daughter's depression?

If he did, he never got noticed ...

He only intended to take the girl out to train her. And contrary to the classic, she at no point since her father returned to Konoha, asked for training or even gave him a glance. Sarada hardly ate, she had not agreed to go out with her friend Chouchou of hers when she came to try to cheer him up. Sakura was feeling worse and worse about the situation. She had tried to protect Sarada from the consequences that could bring Bolt Uzumaki, having killed Kiba Inuzuka. And all she had done was hurt him terribly. Perhaps irreparable. Sakura was starting to get scared. A fear of those horrible stories of the Uchiha family, and her tendency to fall into darkness through the sharingan. Sakura loved her daughter, and she knew perfectly well where she led the path that Itachi and Sasuke once took. A path from which almost no one had returned.

It had been almost two weeks since she agreed with young Uzumaki to separate the families. Because technically speaking, Sakura and Bolt had managed to drive a significant gap in the relations between the Uchiha and the Uzumaki. For example, with the breakdown of the courtship between Bolt and Sarada, there would no longer be weekends where both families shared a house. Nor was Sakura interested in being near Naruto, sharing the same roof. Not when she knew the negative effect it could have on the Uzumaki marriage. And besides everything, Sarada was suffering. In a way that she seemed to keep her paralyzed.

-Sarada ... -Sasuke said when dinner finished- tomorrow morning we will start training. I don't want "no" for an answer.

"I have a mission…" said the young woman without showing an iota of reaction. -It will be for another day.

Sasuke found it strange. It was the first time since Sarada developed the Sharingan, that she adduced some issue ahead of training. In fact, if she had a mission it was understandable that she would refuse. But in that situation, why was it the first time it happened? She never seemed to have a problem changing mission times, or even canceling them in some way. Also right now, she didn't seem in the best mood to go anywhere.

A few hours later, while Sarada continued in her personal confinement, Sakura tiptoed through the hallways of her house. Sasuke had disappeared in the middle of the afternoon, claiming that he had "business to discuss", and the hairy woman was beginning to suspect that the brunette was having an affair with some woman from the village. Wasn't it for that reason that they no longer made love for months? Wasn't it logical to assume that she had lovers even outside of Konoha? Sasuke didn't care about his marriage. He had never cared. If he showed the slightest interest, it had only been for Sarada and her training.

However, the girl currently had a certain resentment in her eyes. She no longer desperately wanted to be with her father. For what reason? Was it her because she blamed him for the lover she had to have her mother? Was there another reason? Sakura didn't know what to think, or how to act. She always had the impression that she was ruining everything with her every intervention.

-Sarada sky ... -she said trying to cheer her up, her mother, and entered her room with a tray with the snack- I bring you some tea and ...

When she opened the door, she found an unexpected painting. The girl was sitting with her face in a lost gesture. Her eyes were dazzled and she seemed to have fallen into a hypnotic dream. In front of her, was Sasuke Uchiha. With the sharingan activated.

-What the hell are you doing ?! –The hairy girl exploded.

Sasuke if he was surprised, he didn't show it at all. He simply got distracted from his task and ordered Sarada, "go to bed." The young woman stood up and obeyed mechanically. Still dressed from home, she lay on her side like the world's autistic and closed her little black eyes to rest. The man nodded, satisfied. And he walked through the door of the room ignoring his wife as if she did not exist.

Sakura quickly approached the girl, nervous. She expanded a bit of green chakra on Sarada's forehead, and thus she could verify that she had been under the effect of Genjutsu. Why? Why had Sasuke done that to her? Sarada was breathing heavily at first, but after she released Sakura she began to relax. She was finally showing tension no longer, and she was really resting.

Sakura was furious. How could Sasuke be so insensitive? Did she want to erase the love she felt from her daughter's mind? Did she think that everything would be solved that easy? The hairy girl left the room closing the door and ready to break her husband's nose. Always the same! She wanted to solve everything with the sharingan!

-What were you doing to Sarada? –Sakura said appearing in the kitchen where Sasuke had chosen to retire- did we not talk about respecting our daughter's spaces?

-I don't have time for niceties. –Sasuke announced- Sarada is at an unstable age. She just wanted to make sure she didn't do something stupid.

-A stupid? She is a teenager, and she is hurt because she got into a fight with her boyfriend.

-Naruto's son doesn't give a damn. - Defined the man - but I refuse to take more risk than necessary.

-Risk? –Sakura consulted nervously- what risk are you talking about?

Was Sarada thinking of harming herself? The very idea of having caused him such madness made her mother shudder. Was she really that serious? And how could Sasuke intuit it anyway?

-And what did you use the sharingan for? You can't play with people's minds like that, "Sakura pointed out.

-the Uchiha have done it for decades. –Announced with total lack of emotion Sasuke- in my case, I have no choice.

-What do you mean?

-Sarada is the only Uchiha woman left. –Sasuke stated as if it were nothing- she developed the sharingan and that was a great fortune. Her children will be the key to the revival of the Uchiha clan.

"Her ... her children? ..." Sakura whispered, unable to believe what the conversation was suggesting.

-Eventually, Sarada will have to commit and marry. But her children, whoever the husband is, must necessarily inherit the sharingan. It is the only way left.

-that can never be known. –He tried to reconcile Sakura- the sharingan develops randomly between…

-Of course not ... -said Sasuke taking a glass of tea that Sakura had tried to give her daughter from the tray on the table- members of the Uchiha clan who cross with other clans, you have a 25% chance of waking up the sharingan in their children. But two Uchiha as parents, increase that probability to 75%.

-but ... there is ... no other ...- Sakura stammered, unable to believe what was being suggested.

Sasuke drank quietly, the scrolls that he had inherited from his family contained not only the secret techniques and seals of the Uchiha. But his story. Without going any further, he discovered that his own parents had been cousins to each other. It was not an unusual practice. The Hyuuga family kept the Byakugan for themselves by crossing their relatives without problems. Furthermore, when an Uchiha who changed clan by marrying a foreigner, his children generally did not germinate the sharingan. And if they did, the high command of the village or the Uchiha police saw to it that it was a boy or a girl, "he had an accident." The Hyuuga had other methods in those cases, but they sought the same result. That the inheritance is not for any other clan.

"Sarada will never accept it ..." Sakura said between surprised and nervous.

"He doesn't have a choice," Sasuke added casually. "For years, the same method has always been used. I will erase any memory of the matter from your memory. And when she is married she will have Uchiha children… no matter who her husband is. For that reason, I must prevent her from committing an idiocy and getting pregnant before marriage. Sarada is destined to have children with the sharingan. There is nothing more to talk about that matter.

She was manipulating her own daughter. Simple and clear. She was using her horrible power to keep her chaste and in full control. She had even come to wonderfully that she had gotten into a fight with Boruto Uzumaki. It would always be much easier to find a subject with physical characteristics more similar to the Uchiha. To perfectly sneak this old trap, who knows how many decades he had to live. Sakura understood everything. She knew the reason Sasuke had had for ordering her daughter not to have sex until they were married. The confused girl had consulted her mother, and at the age of 16 she had already had the anxiety of discovering that world with the boy she loved. But Sasuke had intervened. And the reason was already known.

-I can't believe you think about doing that to your daughter. Sakura added, already going into a fury difficult to control, "I can't believe you do that to your family!"

-Sarada is my only chance. –Said Sasuke laconic as always- for years I have looked for heirs who have the sharingan. 14 cases in different countries. Sarada was the only one who woke up the sharingan.

"14 cases" 14 pregnant women from 14 different places. The damned bastard had been fucking around the world, while Sakura had to take care of her only daughter practically alone. She suffered loneliness, masturbating, crying in the shower the misfortune of having chosen a subject who did not want her. That he didn't love her. And for dessert this light confession, so loose in body as to pretend that she would do nothing to stop him.

-If you think I'm going to allow you to rape my daughter… ..you are very, very wrong… .- she approached him ready to crush him when she had to stop.

-And who said you would have a choice? Sasuke announced focusing the Magenkyo sharingan on her wife and paralyzing her.

As he had always done, he would erase that conversation that had already happened two other times. In a way it seemed fun to repeat the experience. She went on a lot, because on previous occasions Sakura had drawn her own conclusions from her, and yet she achieved the same effect. Sasuke found it cumbersome to have to come back every so often to check that everything was running smoothly. He would have needed Sakura's support. But it had always been a hindrance and that would never change. He did not understand that he had a greater responsibility to his family. He never understood that he was simply getting her pregnant to get heirs from her. He had really felt heavy having to put up with her when she was looking for sex. She was not the most attractive, nor was she the best of all the women she had ever had. And it wasn't that she cared too much about her appearance. He just didn't like that outrageous and maniacal way of being. She liked quiet and formal women. Ideal wives.

He had always reproached himself for choosing her. Marrying Sakura Haruno had only been to keep up appearances in Konoha. So that he would stop chasing and bothering him. And paradoxically, his worst choice of wife, she was rewarded with a daughter who awakened the sharingan.

Things of destiny. His future wife… .was precisely his daughter.

And the promise to restore the all-encompassing Uchiha clan.

He lit his cigarette, and the first puff tasted glorious ...

Shikamaru Nara was laying on a double bed in a motel, after having been fucking for several hours. The place was quiet, they always used different places to avoid any suspicious routine. As he took deep breaths at his favorite vice, he gave his roommate a careless glance. She lying on her side and turning her back to him.

Ino fucked like a goddess. There was no doubt about it.

For many years they were just friends and lovers. And when she got engaged to Sai, they still continued to see each other for so long. Ino Yamanaka's current husband wasn't exactly "expressive." He had had a hard time turning it into useful material for sex. Being Ino, a very active woman in the erotic, she had to keep appealing to her old friend to balance her world from time to time.

Years passed and Shikamaru also married, with Temari from the arena. He had loved and still loved his wife. But Temari did not have the same disposition to good sex that Ino carried. Furthermore, he had a difficult character to handle. She was almost always in a bad mood, and both Shikamaru and his son used to suffer from it. Fortunately, his work as a special advisor to the Hokage kept him away from home most of the time. He had such flexible schedules and such scattered tasks that he was not accountable for time to anyone.

It was inevitable that many years later he will meet Ino again. Becoming casual lovers. There were little details that Shikamaru appreciated and needed from this bond. The private conversations, where Ino explained certain behaviors of Temari so that he could understand her. When he had a problem, some work, and needed that quiet time after sex to think. He could smoke in bed. Something that Temari forbade her and that Ino didn't care about. Besides, she knew perfectly well that no matter how much sex they had, Ino would never confuse the many and get him into a problem of choice between women. They were friends, and they fucked every so often. Final point.

Small details that defined a big whole.

Shikamaru met Ino because he had a problem. Whenever she needed to release the tension from her by the leadership of her clan, or the coldness of her husband they made those encounters. While certain problems of a political nature required a greater strategic effort by the Nara. And he required sex and a cigarette to solve them. Things were consulted, personal intimacies were told. They had never stopped being friends.

What was Shikamaru Nara thinking that night? It had been around 10 days since the Hokage's son was released from guilt and charge for Kiba Inuzuka's death. Advisor Nara, even behind Naruto's back, had put a team to watch Bolt Uzumaki's every step. He did not swallow some issues that had defined the boy's innocence, and neither did Naruto have been so ugly wrong, in his intuition that it was his son who was the murderer.

What was really happening?

There was not a single piece of evidence linking Bolt to the murder. The only thing they had, were the personal chakra traces, which Naruto had collected from the crime scene. There were no exit registers on the walls of the village. Also no traces of blood, fight marks, odor or footprints. It had been a perfect crime. Such was the case, that many sneaked the possibility that no one from Konoha had actually committed that act. Others, even against the details of the autopsy, began to suspect that Kiba Inuzuka had had a heart attack. And he was killed, simply by misuse of the chakra. After all, many Shinobi died designing new combat techniques. By controlling them poorly, or by redirecting power inappropriately. Wasn't there a possibility that Kiba was so reckless to burst his own body in training?

His time meeting Kiba, they gave Shikamaru the clue that he could be. But the autopsy tests, although without accusatory details, indicated that it was not a natural death. Even Sakura Uchiha, the best medical ninja in the whole village. The only one who had reached the level of excellence Tsunade Senju ever exhibited, she had declared that there could be murder. But she had been unable to collect evidence pointing to a culprit.

Finally there was the accused. Boruto Uzumaki. Of unruly background as a child, but faultless demeanor once promoted to Chunnin. He was 17 years old, and had many skills to grow in his career. There was no issue that related him to Kiba in any altercation. Nor could it be explained, how he would perform an assassination technique more typical of the Hyuuga clan, without counting on the Byakugan as an inheritance. Finally, the mental examinations and the interrogations relapsed on Bolt when he was imprisoned, yielded a huge negative. There was nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Young Uzumaki's statement faithfully explained how traces of his chakra could be found in the area. Revealing that while his father could detect chakra, he couldn't establish that Kiba and Bolt shared that field at the same time. Or the same day.

In summary? Boruto Uzumaki, Chunnin Class B rank, was released and all charges were dropped with the apology of the case. Even Tsume Inuzuka hinted that he did not consider that boy a danger. As if he hadn't needed proof to hold that he couldn't be Bolt, the murderer wanted for the death of his son.

However, among so many proofs of "innocence", Shikamaru had found a detail that everyone had escaped. Although everything indicated that Bolt was absolutely innocent of the altercation, the searches of the doors of the villa, did not indicate anything. They couldn't connect it to the time of the crime, or to any other time already set. That was the detail. That point made Shikamaru think that someone had erased the necessary notes on the case. Bolt had apparently never left Konoha that day. But that seemed especially suspicious, considering that he supposedly trained daily outside the village. Chance? Opportunism? There was something else. That young son of Naruto, hid an intelligence much higher than expected. Everyone got used to seeing him as a mediocre extension of the Hokage. But Shikamaru was already willing to consider otherwise, after this complicated matter.

Naruto was full of guilt. He could no longer comment to the Hokage about his suspicions. Naruto would rule it out outright. Shikamaru was very surprised when, faced with his suspicions, he found a Naruto Uzumaki unwilling to continue investigating. He gave an end to the matter. Stating that he felt responsible for not knowing his own son, because of the office work. He related to Shikamaru the matter of the Chunnin exam. In short, he told her that he had earned Bolt's scorn. But that he would seek to repair it at any cost.

-I do not want to distrust my son again. Never more.

Shikamaru did not fall for the trap. He understood that Naruto had discovered something else. But being the Hokage, Councilor Nara couldn't get that new information out of him by any of the forced methods. Then, he was forced to act behind Naruto's back. Sending a team to monitor Bolt's actions. Finally, he found absolutely nothing. The reports of the surveillance team indicated that as an important thing, it only highlighted that the subject under investigation had cut off his emotional relationship with his girlfriend.

They brought up a purely sexual question. Apparently the active young man, he had refused to continue a merely spiritual relationship. Besides, the last few days he had only spent training outside of Konoha as usual.

The cold reports did not indicate much. But Shikamaru found the details far more interesting than he might have guessed. When questioning about the type of training Bolt did, he received only general responses. Physical works, meditation to better control his chakra. And exercises that sought the greatest speed and flexibility. Nothing specific.

Shikamaru had accumulated during those 10 days a certainty, Boruto Uzumaki was much more than what was seen by simple consideration. He every day he trained outside of Konoha in the mornings. But the records did not point to the day of the crime. He didn't seem to have the slightest contact with the guards at the gates. It was not out of friendship that someone decided to support him in that matter. Could it happen that that specific day did not come out? Perhaps leaving his girlfriend was related to the presence of another woman. Did he see her that day? For what reason did he not use that excuse? Who was this woman?

The spies did not give him any news. Bolt apparently had no relationship with a woman other than Sarada Uchiha. They followed him to the hospital one day when he got hurt by the clones in training. He was taken care of by Sakura Uchiha, they didn't talk too much. Obvious thing after having thrown the relationship with his daughter. And then he wasn't seen out of the office with anyone either. He left the hospital and returned to his home as usual.

-There's nothing… ..- Shikamaru said to himself- absolutely nothing. He is very suspicious.

No one could be that perfect. No one could murder and continue his life as if nothing happened. No one could be totally clean in method and alibi. If so, he should have received some kind of help from someone. Another ninja, he would be suspicious and identifiable. Perhaps, a group of ninjas acting in different fields, could reach such a degree of "cleanliness". Like little random pieces that come together to form a picture. But someone had to orchestrate the entire "cover-up" operation. And Boruto hadn't met with anyone since the incident occurred.

"No ... it's crazy ..." he whispered, smiling barely, "I still can't find the reason for so much scope.

Ino scrambled from under the covers. His body, always perfect for him, was adorned by the rain of golden hair that fell to his waist. Shikamaru gave her a slight look, she looked quite tired and maybe she would sleep another hour. He too would have acted identical, but this research problem kept him from falling asleep.

"I do suspect the murderer," she assessed mentally, "and I know the victim." I just need the reason. Just that, and I'll find the thread that connects them all.

The only light in the room came on. A crystal lamp that contained a large candle, provided the illumination of that cabin in a strange spectacle of dark shadows. The young man used the little surrounding light to accommodate some branches and logs in the fireplace that dominated the room. The lamp would not be enough for what was to come.

Meanwhile, she opened her eyes heavily. Her body was lying face down, on the wide wooden table in the center of the place. Tied hands and legs, totally vulnerable. Hanabi Hyuuga didn't understand what was happening. Her mind was pure confusion and chaos, even her body did not seem to recover from the strange numbness that subjected her beyond the ropes.

Boruto Uzumaki lit the wood that he had placed in the fireplace. A slight blowing of his own, transformed into flames that burned with intensity. Then, slowly getting to his feet, he approached the center of the place to look at the confused face of her aunt.

-Welcome ... -she said seriously- without a doubt this was not my initial idea of reaching an agreement. But everything has become quite complicated. And I'm getting tired of niceties.

Hanabi tried to move, her belly resting on the table and her legs were tied to the firm legs of the table. She was completely stretched out, totally at Bolt's mercy. How the hell had he captured her? Where was she? The last thing she could remember was sitting in the kitchen of the Uzumaki house. She was with… .Hinata-onesan. Then… nothing.

Boruto walked side to side in front of Hanabi. She was trying to wriggle out of the ropes, although she initially didn't seem too caught, she could tell from her first attempts that she had been thoroughly tied up. She would not escape with mere skill. And something was preventing him from using her chakra normally.

-Well… -said the blond looking neutrally at Hanabi-dear aunt… I imagine you can reason about my reasons for having you here. Although without a doubt you will be trying without success, to specify how you were captured. We will talk about that later… .- he announced taking a chair from the back and sitting in front of the woman. For now, I'm going to start asking questions….

Hanabi scrambled to no avail, Bolt's blue eyes were making her a little uneasy. What was she trying to do by capturing her like this? Didn't she know the consequences of attacking a clan leader? Surely her family would be searching heaven and earth for her. How long had it been for her that she was tied to that table? Her body felt numb.

"And if I don't like the answers ..." Bolt finished gloomily, "I'll start teaching Hanabi-san ... all the beautiful methods learned, of the division of interrogations and torture of the blade."

"Listen to me very carefully, boy ..." the woman reprimanded, standing firm, "you are one centimeter away from ruining your life." And that of your parents. Right now release me or else ...

-Or else… .what? –The young man consulted fiercely- will you betray the Hokage by conspiring behind his back? Will you bribe my mother to help you get information on my family? Will you force me to marry any woman of your clan? Will you kill Sarada-chan so that she does not prevent that task? Will you murder my sister? HEY?! THAT YOU THINK TO DO ?!

Hanabi's jaw dropped. How did she know all that? How could she know that she was getting information from Hinata? How did she know what they planned to do in the clan, with the children of the Hokage? something was very wrong. And she could get worse. Boruto moved to the side, and brought with him a kind of shelf with little wheels. He placed it in front of the woman, and opening the doors of that cabinet he revealed a complete collection of whips, whips, chains and other rather intimidating supplies.

-We will have a sincere talk and no more secrets… -Bolt smiled with a perverse edge- Hanabi-san depends on how painful the truth can be.

"When my bodyguards find me…" Hanabi announced challenging him.

"They are busy ..." Bolt smiled, "you'll see them soon." And it won't be something you want, that I can assure you. Now ... -she said rudely- What plan did they have to force me to enter the Hyuuga clan?

-free me ... now ...

Hanabi's steady gaze did not condescend to a prisoner. She certainly was not used to negotiating from a disadvantage. She kept seeing a child, even though Bolt was rude. And he does not mediate the danger as it should be.

-When you finally stop playing bad man and set me free. I'm going to give you a beating you'll never forget. To then send you to the darkest cell in Konoha. You will go to jail child… .you and all those who are currently part of Raíz. Don't think I'm blind like your father.

Bolt had no reaction to the threat. Although he was surprised that Hanabi knew about Root. He had gone to great lengths to make his father and the rest of the leaders believe that Kiba's matter had been strictly personal. Apparently not everyone had swallowed the hook. Although, it didn't matter at the moment. He started to look at the window with the whips, took one, then exchanged it for another finer and of a strange material.

-What do you plan to do with that? –Hanabi demanded annoyed- I have ordered you to free me!

Finally, Bolt considered a third piece of punishment. A flagellum of points with very fine leather. They were almost little tweets. Although firm. After finishing his initial selection, he calmly moved to the side of the table, pulled out a kunai, and smiling at the threats coming out of the raging prisoner, he opened the Yukata from behind. All with a cut from the neck area to where his waist ended. The woman's bare skin made him want to touch her. He did it, without any permission or shame. It was like exploring terrain. Not harsh, but firm.

-Bolt Uzumaki… .- Hanabi reaffirmed a little annoyed at the touch on her entire back-I swear I'll take care of….

Flasss….

The blow wasn't too strong, but Hanabi felt a wave of pain penetrate like an internal blow. She made him cut off parliament. Boruto apparently was not intimidated by the threats of a black future. How far was he going to go?

Flasss ...

Again, Hanabi's back felt the rigor. It didn't seem like torture. She did not have the strength to qualify for that term. But she was humiliating. Like a giant caught in the arms of an ant.

-Enough! Stop right now! The woman yelled, while Bolt used her free hand to part the long black hair that was involved in her punishment. Then he slapped the reddened skin on that back of hers again - no more! I told you to stop!

It was useless fighting the ropes. Her body did not respond to him beyond feeling pain. Her chakra was at extremely low levels. Was it some kind of poison? A paralytic? When had she given it to him?

"I need to know several things ..." Bolt said giving a new spanking "one ... the plan that the Hyuuga have against me. I want to know how many know that Root exists. And I want to know specifically if they plan to attack Sarada-chan. Two… you will tell me what they had in mind against my little sister Himawari. Your niece, remember?… .Although you didn't seem to care. That above all… She pissed me off a lot….

Flasss!

Another accurate hit, at the height of the hips. Very close to the glutes. Bolt was in a dangerous state. He looked drugged or at least out of his mind. Hanabi began to experience something that she thought she had forgotten from training with her father. Afraid. She was afraid of the harshness of that look. He looked like a tiger, circling and stalking prey.

-I will never tell you anything…. do you hear me? Nothing! You bastard… "Hanabi challenged, biting her lip to keep from screaming at another blow.

-bastard? –Neutral Bolt Consultation- I have a father and a mother….

-An idiot too innocent for his position ... and weak in morals. Unable to be a leader for his clan. –Hanabi attacked, wounded in her pride –with a criminal as a son.

-we are all ... what we are. –Bolt smiled coldly- my father is the leader who needs the peace of the ninja world. I am in charge of covering his back, preventing traitors like you… from trying to take advantage. And my mother… well… She just needed to hear all this… to choose which side to be on. Isn't it Ka-san?

A side door opened, footsteps mixed with the crackle of the fire in the living room. After a few minutes, her sister appeared in front of the prisoner. Hinata Uzumaki. The last person he thought he would find in that place. She had a strange color to her face. A blank stare and a bad body expression. She was suffering from the situation, without a doubt.

-you? Onee-san….-Stammered Hanabi surprised- you gave me to him?

"That's right ..." Bolt replied to a Hinata who placed her hands together in front of her and lowered her head in pain. "Oka-san considered that someone should stop the Hyuuga leader's feet." He was abusing the Hokage's trust. He conspired against his children, thinking of killing them. Who knows how far you would go?

-ONEE-SAN WHY ?! Hanabi exploded in consternation and something cleared in her mind. "YOU'VE DRUGGED ME!" WAS YOU!

Her brain was beginning to react. She had been having tea at the Uzumaki house. The two sisters alone. Hanabi used the moments where Hinata was alone, to obtain information from her. This is how she discovered the virtues of her nephews. This is how she learned that Hinata in the middle of a drunk, she had slept with Kiba Inuzuka years ago. When Naruto wasn't paying due attention to his family. And he had been using Hinata's guilt, to manipulate her.

-It was funny how everything was discovered-Bolt continued- you spent it filling Oka-san's head for years. Blackmailing her, with that little slip that she had years ago. All for not knowing how to drink, and an idiot who took advantage of her.

"She betrayed your father, and you have forgiven her ..." Hanabi defended herself, trying to purge her frustration as she was.

"My father deserved it a long time ago ..." Bolt added to a Hinata who said nothing, "he spent his time fantasizing about another butt." When the matter was corrected, the dog went down in history. In addition, he was only a profiteer who used alcohol as an ally. He deserves to be dead. That's how things work Aunt Hanabi. You used what you knew about Oka-san to blackmail her. Instead, I decided to help her. Who is "weak in morals" now? If you look at it closely, at least she was smart enough not to end up tied to a table. Truth?

Hanabi grunted in annoyance, she was looking at her sister as if she expected any moment she would come to free her. But as long as Bolt was there, he couldn't convince her. She had to get Hinata alone. But how? She suddenly came up with a plan. Maybe get mother and son to fight. Divide them maybe.

-ji hee hee ... -Hanabi barely laughed- all this ... to hide what I will be in charge of revealing as soon as she is released. How long do you think it will take to find us? It is only a matter of hours.

-forgiveness? –The boy barely consulted.

-You won't be able to hide anymore child ... -he said defiantly- the whole village will find out. That despite those pretty blue eyes. You… and your sister… they still have the Byakugan. And you can't murder me like Kiba Inuzuka. Your mother will not allow you to murder her sister. And also, even if you managed to shut me up…. Do you think Hinata Onee-san will be silent forever? She's going to give you away for sure. When everyone knows you have the Byakugan. It will only be a matter of days before you die.

Bolt smiled slightly, not surprised that his aunt knew. His interest in marrying him and joining the Hyuuga clan arose when Hinata had escaped that secret that she knew. When a woman from the Hyuuga clan leaves the family to marry another man, an agreement was signed at the time of marriage. Every pregnancy of the woman in question was sealed. A seal that only the Hyuuga elders knew about. She sealed it to prevent her from inheriting the white eye to her children. This prevented any other clan from incorporating that gift into her blood. How did the Uzumaki kids get over the seal? How was Hinata able to give birth to two children with a new type of Byakugan? The siblings' blue eyes were deceptive, they could direct chakra at them, and get the same effect as the white-eye clan. And it was just the beginning of what they could do.

-I've been researching a lot ... -Added Bolt after putting his hands together and getting his gaze to become stronger, although it did not change color, it looked more blue while the little veins on the temple stood out- Apparently the seal they put on Oka-san's belly, serves not only to nullify the Byakugan, but to prevent the child's eyes from turning white. But they did not consider that Uzumaki blood has a certain… "resistance" to the art of sealing. Advantages of being the creators of these techniques. So, your so-called Hyuuga seal achieved the effect of not having white eyes. But he couldn't override our ability to see with the Byakugan mode. A surprise right? I found out when I was beaten on a Chunnin exam.

-Hanabi-neesan ... -Hinata whispered embarrassed and she didn't move from where she was, a few steps from the table- you have betrayed me. I asked you to keep a secret. My children had the Byakugan and it was not good that no one knew about it. Were you really going to murder my Himawari? Were you going to murder my baby?

-I'm the leader of the Hyuuga clan. Did you think that she would just sit around and do nothing? –Hanabi snubbed -the Uzumaki cannot have the Byakugan. Your kids shouldn't have developed it. It doesn't matter that they don't look like our eyes, they have the same ability as them. And your heirs will have it too. The Hyuuga and the Uchiha have always acted the same. No one should possess the Doujutsu outside of the family.

-First that leader, you were my sister! I trusted you! –Hinata shouted nervously- I confided my secrets to you, I entrusted my heart to you. And you tricked me… .to use me. You said you would support me!

"Ha ha ha…." Bolt laughed when he saw how both sisters were in a duel of accusing gazes, "it seems that you have awakened the spirit of dispute in Oka-san!" My respects. -She said to Hanabi approaching, and finally whispered- I have already told Ka-san ... that the Hokage never physically unfaithful to her. Your lies will not save you. You won't get Ka-san to turn against me.

One of Hanabi's weapons to get information from her older sister was to lash out with the alleged "Hokage infidelities" especially with Sakura Uchiha. And Hinata drew hers of her own wrong conclusions, counting the time that Naruto and Sakura spent filtering. Until Bolt intervened. Now Naruto was much more open to his wife, and everything had returned to normal. Kiba had wanted to intervene with it, and he had paid the consequences.

Bolt sighed wearily. He moved away from the women a bit, walking around the place with the crop in his hands. He was kind of thoughtful, he was kind of tired of so many ghoulish games. But it was what he did best. It was what he had been trained to do. Root had no morals. Root had nothing but his primary goals. Between good and bad, it was root to give balance to the world. Or at least… her own private version of the balance of him. May each country bear its demons as best it can. Konoha, he had Root. Bolt reminded himself, being a good boy who wouldn't break a plate in a long time. But all that was in the past. When the Byakugan and its secret abilities awakened, this new personality was also forging. For what reason do I change so much? Bolt didn't know, and he didn't care either. It was what it was today, because it should be that way. Point.

-Good Ka-san ... -said Bolt approaching his mother, while Hanabi saw everything from her posture on the table- once you clarified to me that you would do everything to repair the damage with Oto-san. And I accepted the agreement. Here we have a good opportunity. To be all together again ... "he smiled, taking her by the shoulders and leading her to look at the prisoner" a great and loving family.

Hanabi felt a hideous chill run down her spine. That boy was not going to stop. Her older sister wasn't going to save her. What was she thinking of doing to him? Torture her? Punish her physically until she confesses everything? Everything indicated that the situation was going from bad to worse.

-Do you want to participate in these games Ka-san? –Bolt smiled perverse- it will be a long way, until I manage to train my new toy. Maybe you don't want to stay here. Although ... in that cupboard there are several bottles of sake. What are you saying? If you think about it… .you can learn a couple of new tricks to seduce the Hokage. And even get a valuable gift.

While that strange mother and son conversation arose, the prisoner awaited the definition of her destiny. Hanabi Hyuuga. A clan leader who believed herself in control. That she supposed with the possibility of taking the power of the Hokage through her children. A woman who thought of betraying, and now she lay betrayed in the moorings. One more toy ...

In the land of traitors.

End of chapter.
