Only the roars of dragons flying above and the whistle of the wind could be heard. The cold wind blew hard, extinguishing all the lit fires in the kingdom.
Sage's fiery eyes narrowed at Esteban, who appeared stunned at seeing her.
"Why hasn't he killed you yet?" Sage scoffed when he asked.
Raging fire whips appeared on her hands, and she gripped them tightly, breathing in and out before directing the whip to one of the stunned-looking men, whipping off his upper body from his lower body.
The woman on the ground screamed in terror.
Esteban laughed. "Furious?" He inquired, mockingly.
"Serious." Sage hissed and fired her whip at him, only for him to catch it.
Esteban didn't think he'd be able to catch her whip. His brows furrowed in surprise. "You are weak, fire mage."
He was right; she was exhausted.
The whip he had caught vanished, and the men at his sides laughed before transforming into massive brown scaled dragons.
