Chapter 127 - Fear

Despite the fact that there were so many people awake in the castle, the night was quiet.

The cold was getting colder by the minute, and the entire world, which was covered in snow, noticed that the temperature was strangely dropping.

Snow storms were harsh outside in vast empty areas, and there was a less harsh snow storm inside civilizations, but only the strong could survive it.

Cyrus, who was sleeping with Sage in his arms, bit his lower lip as he was uncomfortable.

His closed eyes squinted, his breathing was labored, and his grip on Sage tightened.

He let out a low, deep groan and bit his lower lip hard to keep his impending dark state at bay.

Sage gasped and opened her eyes to see Cyrus staring at her with darkened blue silt eyes as she felt his cold hand on her waist get colder.

Her gaze moved to his lips, where she saw blood slowly oozing out, and she swallowed hard, feeling her fear for Cyrus' dark state blast through her.
