"What a fucking coincidence, right? Instead of sticking to their original plan of landing in city A, they made the spontaneous decision to come to city C, which is already in chaos."
I can't help but express my frustration. Prior to resolving the issue of attacks from the Monster Association, humanity faced another assault from external forces that posed a significant threat to their lives.
Imagine the Elder Centipede, a colossal creature that dwarfs even the largest trains in size. So, this ship, which seems to have originated from outer space, is many times bigger than a football stadium. The presence of this entity is quite daunting for both humans and monsters.
"Mosquito Girl, stop fooling around and take her. We'll get out of here!" I quickly mentioned. It wasn't just me, but everyone could sense the tension in the air.
Ever since that mysterious spaceship appeared, my body has been constantly quivering, as if it knows something ominous is about to unfold.
"Hey, wait, don't go around thinking I've lost... and why would a monster like you listen to the commands of a mere human like him? He's just a regular guy, so you could assert your authority and have him do your bidding."
Mosquito Girl seemed to be holding her patience when Do-S, who she was carrying on her shoulder, didn't stop babbling. I couldn't do anything because, like her, my hands weren't empty either.
"I didn't see wrong, right? What's the deal with Meiko Plasma being with you? She also looks odd. What did you do to her?" Do-S finally noticed her presence, but instead of directly answering her, I posed a question:
"Are you familiar with her? Do you monsters even have a genuine friendship, or is it simply because you all belong to the same Monster Association?
"Hmph, I don't care about this bitch. She always tries to prove herself worthy in front of everyone, so looking at her now, I couldn't feel more satisfied," Her eyes narrowed, and a hearty laugh escaped from behind her mask.
"Kaiser, what's your plan for these two?" Despite already knowing the answer, Mosquito Girl still asked the question. I didn't want to keep it from her, but before I could respond, Do-S interrupted.
"Ah, so you go by the name Kaiser, my human friend... I must say, whatever you did to her was quite impressive. How about you let me go-"
The sight was rather intense as Mosquito Girl, growing frustrated, swiftly hurled Do-S into the building and promptly followed up with a forceful knee strike to her stomach.
The apartment building, which likely still had people inside, suddenly had a massive hole in the center. Amidst the swirling dust, Do-S's body careened like a meteor, crashing through multiple houses before finally coming to rest on the road's asphalt.
"That's enough. I won't allow you to kill her." Landed next to the crater she had created, my battle suit still on. Despite the weariness in my voice, my words had the desired effect, stopping whatever Mosquito Girl was going to do to Do-S.
After Do-S fainted, the atmosphere settled down a bit. However, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disbelief as I looked at her pale, wounded body. Her arms and legs were twisted in unnatural angles. I should have scolded Mosquito Girl harder.
"B-But, you saw for yourself how irritating she was, didn't you?... You have no idea how she bullied me before-" As I watched, Mosquito Girl, who had been acting rather spoiled, unexpectedly crawled onto Do-S's body as if she were protecting her from some unseen threat.
I do the same thing as well. I held Meiko Plasma close to my chest, embracing her frail body with tenderness. Not long after, a vibrant purple light enveloped us, followed by a deafening explosion.
Despite thinking we had flown a considerable distance, we unexpectedly experienced the impact. Fortunately, it wasn't forceful enough to cause us any harm. It could be because we are on the edge of the explosion area.
Unfortunately, humans and monsters who could not escape were not as fortunate. It's evident that a significant number of people lost their lives, considering the extensive destruction that has reduced most of C city to rubble. All the tall skyscraper buildings had vanished, and even the branches of the Heroes Association had been completely destroyed.
"What was that? Did that ship do it? That's pretty terrifying," said Mosquito Girl. Stepping away from Do-S. She returned and stood beside me. When she looked up, there was a hint of fear in her eyes. She could no longer underestimate the existence of the spaceship.
"Today is challenging for humans, but it seems like the Monster Association has achieved their objective. But I'm sure the aliens' arrival caught everyone off guard."
"Aliens? I've heard that they come from another planet. From the opening attack they launched, they're not weak, right?" It seems like the idea of aliens turns Mosquito Girl on.
"How do you know about aliens? A few days ago, you still couldn't tell the difference between male and female humans," I wasn't lying about that. Perhaps due to Mosquito Girl's tendency to look down on everyone, she didn't pay much attention to such matters.
"You're underestimating me. At least I know that female humans have mounds of flesh on their chests. Sometimes, I find it a bit challenging to differentiate between women with smaller busts and men. However, it doesn't matter," Mosquito Girl pouted her mouth and returned to her spoiled behavior. Seeing her in this state, it's easy to overlook the fact that she has a relentless thirst for the blood of both humans and monsters.
Our chat was interrupted by a sudden earthquake. We felt the ground tremble beneath us, and in the distance, a massive explosion erupted from the remnants of the building as if a monstrous creature had emerged from its depths.
Elder Centipedeis is one of the monsters capable of withstanding attacks from spaceships, although its body shell does show some cracks. I can sense the intense fury emanating from the monstrous creature from a distance.
Elder Centipede released a mighty roar as it surged towards the spaceship with its massive body. I'm certain that those who were nearby witnessed the event as something truly glorifying. But honestly, from where I stand, he was just like a caterpillar compared to that floating metal vehicle.
"Hopefully, he can hold on until the arrival of the S-class hero. It would be great if Saitama were here right now," I don't have high expectations for Elder Centipede. Mosquito Girl and I observed as he cautiously made his way towards the spaceship.
Fortunately, the spaceship touched down at a low enough altitude for the Elder Centipede to easily reach it. However, something unexpected happened when a mysterious figure suddenly appeared and effortlessly sliced the Elder Centipede from head to tail.
"Kaiser...Kaiser… he is strong. I'm itching for a chance to take him on and drain him dry," Mosquito Girl said eagerly, pulling at my clothes. I observed Elder Centipede's body split in half. It gracefully descended to the ground before replying:
"No, I need him to grab the S-class heroes' attention. And when Saitama takes on Boros, we can slip in unnoticed. We will extract all the alien blood inside the spaceship."
Taking it from my memory, there was this alien called Melzargard, and as Mosquito Girl said, he was strong. He had the strength to take on multiple S-class heroes all by himself.
"But first, let's take care of something. These two ladies should definitely not be left alone.
