It's been a while since those monsters showed up out of nowhere and wreaked havoc in the stadium. The number of casualties is staggering, with bodies scattered all over the place near the narrow exit.
Fortunately, a group of skilled heroes happened to be nearby and responded to their desperate cries for help. With their limited numbers and relatively low strength, which only reaches C and B class, it's safe to say that not much has really changed in this battle.
All eyes are now on Suiryu as the remaining survivors eagerly await his next move. Once he took down three crow-like monsters, he went on a rampage and effortlessly finished off many weaker monsters.
Right then, out of the blue, a blaring siren pierced the air, and a woman's voice chimed in with a warning:
"To all residents of City C, we are advised to immediately evacuate to shelters because the current situation in the city is not good with monsters of various threat levels roaming around."
As soon as everyone realized the situation, a wave of despair washed over them. Their hopes of escaping the stadium were shattered as the danger still lurked outside.
"Hmm, I wonder where they went?" Gouketsu pondered the sudden vanishing of his prey, who had come dangerously close to meeting their demise at his hands.
He couldn't have cared less about the warnings or sirens blaring throughout the city. The lingering annoyance in his heart fueled his already savage cruelty, intensifying it further.
In that instant, he caught sight of Suiryu effortlessly dispatching a monstrous foe with a single strike. Gouketsu's grin stretched across his face, a surge of power pulsating through him. He was itching to kill the man who had once embarrassed him.
Suiryu, with his clothes in tatters and a face covered in dust, seemed even more fired up than he did during the competition. He effortlessly demonstrates his martial arts skills against every monster he encounters.
Up until now, he had successfully taken down every monster that crossed his path. However, his attention was suddenly captured by the intense stare of a particularly ferocious beast. Suiryu could tell that the monster stood out from the rest - it was clearly much more powerful.
In no time at all, the two of them collided. Suiryu could feel the intense pain coursing through his body with every bone-crushing punch from Gouketsu. Yet, despite the agony, he remained confused as to what exactly was fueling the monster's exhilaration.
"Hahaha, I want more!... if I haven't completely defeated you, I won't be satisfied!... You're just so pathetic, Seiryu!"
Gouketsu's screams grew more passionate, fueling his increasingly fierce attacks. They were both zipping around the arena at lightning speed until, out of nowhere, Suiryu slipped up and got smacked right in the face.
His good-looking face took on a lopsided appearance when a large lump appeared on his cheek. After battling for what felt like an eternity, Suiryu found himself drained of his once formidable strength. He couldn't help but scan his surroundings as if searching for a familiar face in the chaos.
"Where are those self-proclaimed professional heroes? They always seem so full of themselves... What on earth are they doing to keep us waiting for so long!" said Suiryu, from anticipation turned to anger.
Actually, there were already a few pro heroes at the stadium, but they were only C and B classes, so their resistance wasn't that impressive. To make matters worse, the majority of them have also unfortunately died.

Over in a less crowded corner of the arena, Mizuki, who had successfully rescued several people, brought them together in a safe spot away from the menacing monsters.
Her athletic physique allows her to effortlessly leap and move with agility. She possesses enough strength to decide whether to confront or evade a potentially dangerous fight.
"So, he said he was saving someone, but seriously, where on hell is he now?"
Mizuki try to stay focused on her task without getting caught up in her thoughts. As she gazed at the little girl in her arms, her determination grew stronger.
After handing the little girl over to a woman who wasn't her mother, Mizuki didn't have a moment to dwell on her sadness. She was determined to jump into action and rescue as many people as possible. Just then, she noticed Kaiser up in the stadium, waving at her.
Mizuki sprinted, putting all her energy into each stride. With a burst of strength, she leaped onto the increasingly steep bleachers. Pulling out her long baton, she propelled herself even higher into the air until she finally landed on the roof of the stadium.
Many people watched in amazement as they raised their hands, hoping for help. However, their hopes were silenced as the terrifying monster threatened their very lives.
Gasping for air, Mizuki questioned Kaiser, "I searched high and low, and guess what? I found you right here..."
"Hey, I noticed what you did from up here, and I gotta say, you did best."
"That's still not enough," Mizuki replied, her voice lacking confidence. "There are still many people trapped down there. With your help, we can save more."
She knew Lin Lin was there but chose to disregard it. Mizuki has finally discovered the person that Kaiser was so determined to rescue.
"You can count on me. But first, could you please make sure Lin Lin is safe?... You can also reach out to the Blizzard group and let them know what went down here."
From this vantage point, they had a clear view of City C, which was descending into utter chaos. There are a lot of monsters out there wreaking havoc and leaving behind a trail of destruction and unfortunate corpses. They could even catch a glimpse of massive winged creatures patrolling the skies amidst the towering structures.
"B-But, are you gonna be alright by yourself?"
"Don't worry, I won't do anything foolish that would put my life at risk."
Mizuki's trust in Kaiser had grown significantly, deepening their relationship. At this moment, her primary concern was Kaiser's safety rather than the desperate cries for help echoing from below.
