Philip lifted William while he cried, exhausted from the previous events. His hysterical cries could be heard easily if you were nearby. Philip comforting William in his arms took him to the car. His love for his best friend was much more profound than Philip had thought. William cried, "let me see her, is she alright?"
"They are taking her to the hospital, she will be alright, sweetheart."
"Please Philip take me to her."
Philip seeing his lover's condition, can never agree to this William is exhausted and intoxicated. He made a cruel decision at that moment and told William, "I'm taking you home, you need rest."
"Please Philip..." William appealed to him, crying.
In his mind, William was the priority. Philip locked the car door and called his security guards,
"What's the situation here?"
"Sir, she was held captive here."
"Let the police handle it all, we need to go."
"Okay, but the police are asking if we can contact her parents."
"Tell them her parents will be informed."
The security guard nodded and told the police. Philip got in his car and saw William curled up in the front seat; he had cried himself to sleep.
Philip took a moment to appreciate him; he tucked his hair to see his face better.
They both went home; Philipp carried William in his arms, laid him on his bed, wiped his face with a soaked towel, removed his shoes, and tucked him in.
He turned off the lights so as not to disturb William's sleep. Philip closed the door and made his way to the lounge.
Pouring himself a Whiskey after a long and tiring day, he sipped the Whiskey and dialed Mariam's number on his phone.
On the other side,e Mariam was anxiously waiting for any information,n and when she heard the phone ringing, she picked it up in a second.
"Philip is everything alright?"
"No the situation was much worse than William realized."
"What do you mean?"
Philip took a big sip of his Whiskey and continued, "if we haven't intervened she would have been dead."
"Oh that poor girl, William would be traumatized."
"Yes he was traumatized I took him and he's sleeping now."
"Good Thank you for doing this Philip."
"I'll do anything William ask of me, but that is beside what I wanted to ask you."
"Yes ask me anything."
"Call her parents and inform them, I'll message you the hospital name and address."
"Sure I have her parents number, message me the details. Thank you Philip."
Philip hung up and messaged her the details. He didn't drink during dinner because he wanted to drive with William.
Philip thought to himself,f replaying the memories of the dinner,r and smiled, but his smile vanished in a second when his mind strayed and thought of things he shouldn't have.
His life without his siblings, his life without his father, his life without his fiance. Thinking is not essentially wrong, but that's the curse of thinking you would imagine, and that image will be playing with your mind.
However, Philip was a strong-minded person. He shook these thoughts immediately,y but his resolution to protect his family and loved ones grew more robust.
He got up to his room, took off his clothes, and went to bed beside William. His eyes almost completely shut down when his head hit the pillow.
...
On the other side of the city, in Harald's family home, Philip's family sat in one of many drawing rooms.
"I think he'll be good for brother, he's educated and came from a good family." Alex spoke in front of his father.
"Yeah Alex is right, he looked happy when we met him." Sarah also chimed in with her thoughts on the matter.
Alphonso sat there in silence, and a person came with some apparatus. After looking carefully, I thought it was a sphygmomanometer. The person seemed to be a household servant. He checked Alphonso's BP and said, "130 over 80. Sir you need to rest."
"I'll rest when I want, go away." Alphonso spoke in a rough voice.
"Dad you need to rest." Alex spoke,e trying to comfort his father.
"You two need to be more involved in the family business, Philip needs help."
"Dad I'll be involved let me finish the university first." Alex told his father.
Sarah sat there quietly but spoke, "We'll help him with our everything."
"He needs to sire an heir as soon as possible. There are people waiting for his failure."
"Just give us sometimes to finish the university first." Alex said in a calming manner.
"You don't realize, I don't have much time. You both are Alpha's start acting like one."
Alex and Sarah stared at each other and then nodded in agreement to their father.
Alphonso got up and left the room; Alex and Sarah also retired.

Meanwhile, somewhere in an abandoned warehouse, a woman can be seen in the moonlight; there's someone else. A shadow immerged through the dark and revealed a tall, handsome man with white hair.
The man spoke, "Harald resigned as a President, you should've known about it."
"I wasn't included in the meeting." The woman said with her arms crossed.
"I told you to earn their trust but you have only given me the disappointment as failure." The white-haired man told the woman.
"I'll work harder next time, please believe me." The woman's tone changed suddenly.
...
Philip was getting ready for work in the morning, but William was still sleeping. Philip changed his clothes, kissed William on the forehead, and left.
He told his guards, "When he wakes up take him to hospital."
Philip left for work after that; William woke up shortly after Philip with a headache and vivid memories of the previous night.
He looked around and couldn't find Philip,
He took off his clothes and got in the shower to rinse himself. Philip bought all the essentials William needed when he slept over for the first time.
William removed the makeup; his face is the same without makeup but has been glowing a lot lately.
He changed into his new clothes and wore a skirt and a hoodie. Freshened up, William went downstairs and saw the breakfast on the table with a note that said, "Eat the breakfast first than the security will take you to Elly."
William pouted while reading but he was hungry, so he sat down and ate the breakfast Philip made for him. He munched on the breakfast happily but it didn't mean he had forgotten what he had witnessed the other night.
After filling himself with breakfast William took his purse and called security to bring the car around.
He got in and the driver took him to the hospital,l where his best friend was admitted. William walked up to the receptionist and told her, "I'm looking for Elly Marshall she was admitted last night."
"Yes, who are you?"
"I'm her friend just checking in if she's alright."
"Okay, room 200 on the fifth floor. She's in a private room."
"Thank you."
The guards were just two paces behind William; he arrived at the room and knocked on me,t and a voice came in, "come in."
William opened the door and saw Elly's mother and father tending to her daughter and his best friend who was unconscious, and a drip hooked on her wrist.
"Hello Mr and Mrs Marshall."
"How are you William?" Elly's father asked William.
"I'm alright just checking in how she's doing."
"She's doing fine, it'll take sometime to heal both mentally and physically but she's a strong girl she'll power through it."
"That she is."
Elly's mother came near William and hugged him; he hugged her back comforting her at the moment.
"Thank you for saving her." She told William.
"I'll save her a thousand times." William replied earnestly.
She let go of William and her father spoke, "words can't describe how thankful I am, I'm in your and your finance debt."
"There's no debt Mr. Marshall, I was just saving my friends."
"She would be happy that you came to visit." Elly's mother spoke in a low voice.
"You have my number, please let me know when she wakes up. I'll come and visit her again. I need to go now."
"Okay dear. Thank you and congratulations on your engagement."
"Thank you, I'll go now."
William left the hospital with a peaceful mind and got in the car, "Take me to my home."
William called Philip's sister Sarah. She immediately picked up the phone, "Hello Sarah it's William."
"I know I saved your number, is everything alright?"
"Everything is alright I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to go and see some wedding venues with me and my aunt."
"Of course, when do you want me?"
"I'll come pick you up in an hour."
"Okay bye." William hung up the phone.
Some distance later, he arrived at his house, he opened the gate, and yelled, "I'M HOME!"
"Welcome, how was Elly?" William's aunt asked him.
"She's fine but unconscious. I just came after visiting her."
"Okay good good."
"Get ready we'll pick up Sarah and see some wedding venues, we'll have to book it before the wedding."
"Yeah you're right give me a moment I'll change and we'll go."
William sat down on the couch to wait for her aunt...
