Medina pushed her trolley towards the fruit and vegetable stand in one of the malls. It's only been a few months since Medina likes to cook on her own, in the previous months Medina preferred to eat outside because she was still busy with her lectures, such as practicum almost every day and the pile of deadlines for her practicum report, before that she also had time to take part in several competitions outside the campus.
Whether it was a hunch or not, before she died, Mommy Alda often told Medina and Almira to learn to cook on their own.
Now Medina also doesn't want to bother Aunt Rita who always cooks food for her and also Almira.
Medina took some of her favorite vegetables and fruits such as spinach, carrots, kale, tomatoes, apples, and so on. After she had enough, Medina pushed her trolley towards the snack and soft drink place. She didn't like soft drinks she also need them to be just a friend when she did her homework until late at night.
When he arrived at the snack place, his eyes accidentally saw potato snacks which made him immediately think of his sister, Almira.
"This is Almira's favorite snack," he said to himself.
Medina immediately took the Snack and he also looked for some other snacks that could accompany him to do the tasks that sometimes finished until late at night.
After paying for all her shopping, Medina headed to the basement. He was carrying his plastic shopping bag with difficulty, this month he spent quite a lot because his lectures were only covered by final exams and the actual testament usually in charge of monthly shopping like this was Almira but because of her sister's condition it was still impossible for Medina to step in and replace Almira's position starting from shopping to cooking.
When Medina was about to walk towards the online taxi he ordered, suddenly a man hit him from behind.
"Eh sorry-sorry. I didn't mean to," said the man while helping Medina pick up the scattered groceries into a plastic bag.
"It's okay, it seems Mas is also in a hurry," Medina answered sincerely.
But when she finished tidying up her scattered shopping, Medina was immediately shocked beyond measure because the man who hit her was Agya. It seems that Agya didn't realize that the woman he hit was Medina, Almira's sister.
"You?" Medina said.
"M-medina?" Answer Agya.
Medina immediately rolled his eyes perfectly.
"What a coincidence that we met here, Medina."
"Coincidence? What do you mean, Sis?"
"I want to apologize to you and Almira."
"I am sorry?"
"I just want to ask Sis Agya for help so that I never meet Sis Almira again!" said Medina who didn't want his brother to feel heartbroken again.
"But-" not finished speaking Medina immediately got into the car and left Agya.
Agya could only see Medina's car leaving. His heart was so full of regret. His heart is still for Almira, the woman who has filled his heart for years.
"Almira, I'll get you again!" he cried in his heart.
I don't know what the intentions and goals are that make Agya go back to chasing the woman who has ruined her life. Even now Agya is more ambitious and like someone obsessed with Almira. But at this time he still did not dare to meet Almira at his house.
"One day we will be together again Mira, I still love you very much and I will fight for my love with you," he muttered.
Meanwhile, this weekend, Almira only spent her time in her room and she was confused about where to go and how to clear her mind before the next day she had to struggle again with various kinds of work given by the Company.
"Where's Medina? Usually, when it comes to monthly shopping, he comes home quickly, but why is he taking so long now? He should have gone home. Duh, so he's worried, he's afraid of what's going on," complained Almira as she got up from her seat.
"Usually on weekends like this, I used to go out with Agya. But now. Never mind Almira, don't bring it up again," he thought, still remembering the memories he shared with his ex-lover.
It's not easy to forget the sweet memories that have been engraved over the years with someone you love but the truth is bittersweet, the two of them have to separate before saying the sacred promise.
Until now, Almira still doesn't understand the reason why her ex-lover broke up a relationship that has existed for years, what was on her mind that she had the heart to die. "I still don't think you can treat me like this, Agya. You used to always make me happy and always cheer me up when I was sad, but now you're the one who gave me a very big wound in my heart," he muttered with such deep disappointment.
The thing that made him feel very sick was the moment when Agya canceled the relationship when their marriage was about to be held. "If you don't intend to marry me why don't you break up with me before our relationship goes to a more serious level," he thought again feeling sorry.
Sometimes the feeling of longing appears but Almira immediately takes a breath so that she does not miss the man anymore. It was enough that this man had hurt her heart, lest she falls into the same hole a second time. Now, Almira is also sure that she will find a man who loves her sincerely.
"I'm sure I can find a guy who loves me sincerely," he said.
Even though to be honest now Almira is still traumatized by men even though she is sure that there are still many good men out there who are willing to take responsibility for their women. For now, Almira doesn't want to be close to men anymore, the trauma is quite big. She didn't want to have sex with men for years but it had to end painfully.
His hope is now that he can forget all the shadows of his past that are still clearly recorded in his mind. Even though he has tried to let everything go, it is not easy and the process cannot be fast.
Medina who had just arrived with a lot of her groceries was immediately stunned when she saw her sister was lost in thought. "Sis, Almira seems to have become a habit of constantly daydreaming," she thought.
He immediately put away the groceries he brought and he went straight to Almira.
"Miss Mira," he said.
Almira immediately woke up from her daydream after hearing her sister's voice.
"Medina, my sister has been waiting for you. Where have you been? Usually, you shop fast. Brother is afraid of you, why do you know," explained Almira, immediately attacking her younger sister who had just arrived.
Medina was silent for a moment. "I guess I don't have to tell Sis Almira when I met Sis Agya. Later, Sis Almira thinks about it again and it's hard to move on," he thought.
"Medina, why are you still silent?"
"No, Sis. Kaka is too much, isn't it, it takes me a long time to go to the mall like I don't even know myself," Medina replied, trying to find an excuse.
"It's better there, Brother, just check all the groceries, I'm afraid there's something missing or something," said Medina, changing the subject.
Almira immediately got up from her seat. "Oh yeah, I just remembered that I didn't have time to tell you to buy Brother that potato snack," said Almira.
Medina smiled broadly. "Sis, calm down. I bought you your favorite potato snack. I'm a kind and understanding sister," Medina said praising herself but it was true that she was so caring and loved her sister very much.
"Wow? Really?" replied Almira who immediately walked towards Medina's shopping.
