The archery game has been a tradition of her stay at Shinju. To Boost Seol's mood, instead of a reluctant Min Ha, a rather bouncy Geum Nari accompanies her to the training ground, chatting a mile a minute about the great archers she had seen at work during her time as a court lady in Cheongju. Seol doesn't mind the chatter, not when it arises from a source as harmless as Nari.
Nari bears her bow with such reverence that the weapon which has often been reduced to a plaything does not deserve. The wood it has been carved out of is polished and its hinges and strings oiled to perfection. Seol takes the bow and brushes a hand along the smooth carved arch, her chin tilts with determined judgment.
