Chapter 14 - Room

Although Cat was still in shock at the moment, as she had reminded himself for months, she would not forget the purpose of coming here and would take action tonight. After an afternoon together, Andrew had retired to his study room.

Cat was walking slowly along the corridor. She turned the corner. Her intention was to go to Andrew's side, but her knees were shaking so much she had to stand and lean her hand against the wall for strength. Andrew… She had to do it tonight.

Andrew's name swirled in her mind like a whirlpool. His name aroused in her feelings of fear and shame. Finally she turned and stopped in front of his study room. She stared at a stain on the wall, closed her eyes and thought for a long time whether or not to do so.

Cat never knew her parents. She had been living with Lori since she knew herself. Lori had raised her. She thought of the house with colorful flowers in its garden near London, where she lived until the age of eight. In fact, Cat's childhood had been a good one, except that Lori one day told her they had to go. Cat was loved by many because he was a friendly cute girl. One of the men he had met at the inns he had stayed at while traveling had taught her to play chess, a head groom who was Lori's lover, to ride a horse, and even to use a gun for self-defense when necessary. But there was one person she met on this trip, who had begun to spend most of her time with her. When Cat was fourteen, she met little Jack. Jack was a lovely quiet five-year-old boy. When Jack had no one to take care of him after his parents died, he was thrown out into the street. Cat and Lori traveled so many times that Jack was the only one who made them bearable. He was like Jack Cat's brother. How could she let him down now?

Cat gathered all her courage and knocked on the door. Hearing the sound of enter, she slowly lowered the handle of the door and entered. Andrew slowly lifted his head at the pieces of paper he had buried. "Mary, sit down please" Cat was taken a back by her cold demeanor after the warm moments they had experienced today. As Cat gathered the courage to speak, Andrew stood up and headed towards Cat. He stopped in front of the chair where Cat was sitting. Cat's chin hit Andrew's chest as she stood up. Cat raised her head to look at him, meeting Andrew's passionate eyes. Andrew just stood there, even though he was so close to her. "Mary, you shouldn't have come here. After all this time trying to control myself. I can't promise you anything anymore," he said, passion in his voice. "I don't want a word from you," Cat whispered.

He turned to Cat and began stroking her hair. Then he reached out and kissed her deeply and passionately. He had kissed her many times since their first kiss. Andrew wanted more now. After what happened today… He started kissing her with an insatiable hunger. Then suddenly, he picked Cat up and laid him on the sofa next to her. He leaned towards her and continued to kiss her. His tongue swept over her lips. He was persistent. Primitive emotions swept through the young girl's nervous system, shaking her trembling body. Without thinking, he gave in to the crazy kisses that engulfed him like a magnificent whirlwind. Her hands roamed the man's muscular shoulders and arms. Finally, he ran his hands over her stomach. Slowly his hands were raised. Cat said, "Don't," and took her hand. Andrew raised his head. The girl's eyes were moist. "He's not here, please, I'll be in your room tonight," said Cat shyly. Andrew took her by the hand and they headed to her room.
