"What?! What do you mean". Horus asked with fear in his eyes. He didn't believe he heard her right.
"You heard me right, Horus, Aposis is back and he is responsible for this" lsis said afraid of her own words.
"Then we must inform Supreme father Ra at once" Horus said as he helped lsis to stand erect. She was already weak from the trance but she could manage.
Both of them knew very well about the war between the sun god and the demon god. The story of their war with other was a one of horror and fear and the sun god only conquered with the help of Geb, god of earth and father of snakes. He alone was able to out wit the demon lord in his serpent ways and brought victory to the sun god. But now he is gone, and the demon god is back, they are not sure of what the fate of the sun god may be.
They went back to their abodes as they waited for the first sun by the morrow, so that they can deliver their findings to the sun god. But one thing was certain, that was the fact that he wouldn't be pleased with what he was going to hear because Aposis was his worst nightmare.

Isis and Horus looked at each other nervously as they waited on the sun god's arrival. All the other gods and goddesses were already present and the counsel can't be progressed without the sun god's prescence.
After a few minutes, the supreme father arrived. He was glowing gloriously as he sat on his throne as the supreme god and father of all Egypt. All other gods and goddesses rose up on their feet and welcomed him with a bow, as a sign of respect.
"Supreme father, the sun god of Egypt and father of all " they all said at once immediately he sat down.
"Sit my fellow gods and rulers of Egypt " Ra responded with all authority, as the other gods and goddesses sat down.
"Isis! " Ra called "l believe you know why we are here" he breathed, preparing himself and ears for whatever he might hear.
Isis rose with grace and bowed slightly to Ra. Her heart was still thumping hard against her rib cage, but she tried hard to keep her cool.
"Speak lsis! " Ra ordered as he noticed how reluctant she was.
"Supreme father, l went to the dark hole with Horus at the last moon shone on us by lah" she started as she gestured towards the moon goddess who gave her nod in return.
"I ask mother nature to bear witness unto me of what had transpired there at the moon before. I use the ancient chants supreme father and it took me into a trance". Isis kept breathing obviously after every word.
Ra noticed her uneasiness but chose to ignore it, as he just nodded to her words.
"In the trance Supreme father, l saw the air god Shu walking by the dark hole as he seemed in deep thoughts. After some seconds, he turned to leave but sensed the prescence of great evil around him. Lo and behold it was the demon god Aposis ". Isis said with her eyes focused intently on Ra to know what his reaction might be, and just as she expected, he was in shock.
As the sound of his name, many of the gods gasped, many were dumbfounded while was still, many were in daze not believing what they heard.
"Aposis?! No lsis that can't be true" Ra said shaking his head as if he could shake off what he just heard. "I don't believe you lsis".
"Supreme father, l have never failed you and l never will. I can't stand before your glory and lie, it was really Aposis l saw and he was the one that tried to kill the air god" she said now with confidence.
"What? How can that be? I thought he was locked up in darkness? Where did he come from? " these question where heard amongst the other gods and goddesses as they too were in shock of Aposis's return.
"If it really was Aposis, tell me what he wanted from Shu, because l am his enemy so why did he attack Shu". Ra asked hoping that lsis will take her words back and rephrase them to something more pleasant, other than awakening his nightmare.
"Actually supreme father " lsis started with boldness now that the lump on her throat was gone. "The demon lord warned nothing from the air god".
"What do you mean" Ra asked now getting tensed.
"I mean what l said supreme father, the demon lord Aposis wanted nothing from air god Shu. Rather, he wanted to take the sky goddess Nut who was presently held captive in the dark hole". She explained.
At this, the whole counsel broke the that was meant for lsis's explaination. They all wondered at one question " what would Aposis want Nut for? ".
"Why would he want my Nut? " Tefnut asked as she had just teleported to the counsel. She was late because she had to take care of Shu's personal needs before handing him over to Bo.
However, what she was hearing now was not helping her state of greif. She had just lost her son to the granite barrier of time, her husband has been in a trance for two nights and two days now. And now she was hearing the unbelievable, that Aposis had taken Nut with him. She felt her soul want to self destruct.
"Answer me lsis, why would he want my daughter a goddess of Egypt, why! " she yelled at lsis who just stood by her seat, staring at her.
"Answer her lsis" Ra ordered as he saw that lsis was hesitating to give an answer.
"I don't know supreme father but l will tell you his exact words"lsis said as he looked at Ra for a permit.
"Go on, let us hear it " he said.
"As thou wishes" lsis said with a bow before starting. "He said "Shu, its been long like about... let me think oh yes, its been hundreds of centuries since l last saw you. And l must say that you do look good and not quite affected by what was going on". "" can l proceed supreme father " lsis asked as he looked like he wasn't following her words.
"You may lsis, just continue " Ra said with a wave.
"As you wish supreme father " she said before continuing. """Ha ha ha please Shu, am not here for jokes l just came for Nut because l know where she can find the one god She's still living for, Geb"".
At the sound of the name Geb, the silence was broken again. "Geb what has Geb to with this? Wasn't he cast out of our time? Did he send Aposis to get Nut? Is now in an alliance with Aposis? ". These questions kept coming from other gods and goddesses, but lsis was only answerable to Ra and whoever he orders her to answer like Tefnut, as he had ordered her to answer her before.
"Go on lsis let's really find out what's happening " Ra said with authority, thereby silencing other gods and goddesses.
"Am sorry supreme father but that was all of his words that l could get from the trance as it didn't last long. However, after that last sentence, he broke into a fight with the air god and defeated because he seemed to have increased in strength. He threw the air god to the place where we found him with his tail. And transformed to his mortal form as he walked to the entrance of the whole. He opened it and saw Nut, who called his name with disbelieve... " she just stopped talking.
"So... What then happened lsis? " Tefnut asked desperately as she felt like she was losing her mind. She was at the verge of breaking down. She just wanted to hear all that happened, so that she can find a suitable solution or answer to what happened to her husband and daughter.
"I don't know Tefnut, that was the end of my trance, l didn't have the will to push through with it". Isis said with disappointment written all over her face.
"Its ok lsis, you did well and you may now sit" Ra said with authority in his voice.
"I sensed a great deal of evil on the night of this incident, but little did l know that it was Aposis " Ra said, sounding disappointed in himself.
"No supreme father, don't sound like that. We all were cut off gaurd as well, no one saw what was coming, and it was absolutely no ones fault " Horus said trying to calm him down.
"No Horus, it was my fault, all my fault" a voice said from the entrance of the counsel hall.
"Shu?! "
