"Am so sorry baby, l didn't mean to and its not what you think " Geb said apologizing to Nessy. His heart hurt so much when she said that he had hurt her. He read her immediately with fear that maybe he did something bad to her when she was unconscious, but realized that she was speaking of what happened earlier with Nut. She was still hurting from the acts of Nut with him earlier on.
"Baby listen, Nut is my twin sister and yes l had something with her, but its all in the past back in my time". Geb said with pleading eyes, hoping that Nessy would understand him but all his hopes were cut short when he read her and realized that she was confused to the core.
Nessy was lost, twin sister, all in the past back in my time. What exactly was Geb talking about and what did he mean by his time, what's going on here?.
"Nessy" Geb started in a serious tone. "I need to tell you something, l am a g... " he was cut short with the sound of Haggai's voice who rushed into the office.
"Maam the ambulance is here" Haggai said as she rushed into the office but found out she had a very bad timing, judging from the compromising state they were at.
The both of them were sitting on the floor, with their faces so close to each other. To make matters worse, they were sweating and their upper buttons were loose.
Haggai blushed at the situation "l will just tell the ambulance that the situation has been handled and the life has been saved". She said, as she walked out and closed the door behind her.
Nessy was still in a daze while Haggai was speaking and couldn't get what she was saying. She later understood her when she was crossing the door and closing it after her what?!.
"Haggai " wait she called with a tired voice, not loud enough for her to hear " don't call off this ambulance, he might need medical attention " she said as used her gaze to rake his body, in search of any injuries or mishaps that might need medical care.
Geb just stared at her with affection as she kept on inspecting his body. He could see how much she cared about him and why it hurt her so much to see Nut claiming him to be hers.
"Ok, l can see you don't have any injuries. Are you feeling pain anywhere? " Nessy ask as her innocent eyes looked at his face for answers.
"Yes I feel pain somewhere " Geb answered as he squeezed his face in pain and groan as well.
"Where is that? " Nessy said in worry and care at the time. She just hope he didn't suffer any internal injuries or even something worse. However, Geb didn't answer but groaned more as he held his chest tightly, squeezing clothes and flesh in the process.
Nessy was going insane with fear. "What is it Geb? How does it hurt, does it burn? Wait, hold on let me get the ambulance" Nessy said all at once as she stood up to call for the ambulance again but Geb held her down, still groaning in pain and more intense than before.
"Leave me Geb, allow me to get help so that you won't die on me". Nessy cried desperately as she was struggling to free herself from Geb's hold.
Geb didn't let her go rather,he pulled her closer and buried His face in the crook of her neck and said to her " l am hurting because l know you're hurt. Please don't hurt yourself and stain your beautiful face with tears over nothing. I love you and no one else and that's what matters". He planted a kiss on her neck before he drew away from her.
His voice was full of affection that Nessy didn't realize that she was tearing up. How can he melt her with just mere words and the most of it all, he said to her the three words she thought she would never believe in 'l love you ' but this time, she believed them and trusted them as well. Oh god! what did he do to her.
"Do you really mean that, l mean do you really love me? ". She asked him with tears falling down her cheeks.
"Of course l do love you very much" Geb said reasurring her.
"Are you sure its not because of my money of influence, l mean do you truly love me for who l am? " she asked again, this time touch his face.
Geb held her hands and brought them closer to his mouth as he kissed her knuckles. He stared into her eyes for some seconds. He couldn't believe he could fall this way for a mere mortal, that he didn't want to go back to his time nor stake his claim by Nut's side. He just wanted to be with her. His mortal consort, he wondered if she would want to be with him if he finds out who he really is, an ancient god of Egypt, that was undergoing punishment for a crime committed against the supreme father. No one would ever want to be with or love a rejected god. At this, he decided that she would never know who he truly was nor where he truly was from.
"Nessy l love you for who you are now, and l will still love you for who ever you are going to be in the future with all my will. All l need you to do is to trust me and never have doubts about me or feel insecure of our love. Would you do that for me baby girl? " Geb asked with all the love and affection he could install in words.
"Yes sure, l would" Nessy replied with a smile as Geb wiped the tears on her cheeks. "I hope you are not hurting anymore, because am now fine". Nessy asked with the most beautiful smile that Geb has ever beholded in the whole Egypt.
"Yes, sure am now fine. And theres no need for you to worry about me. Just keep yourself happy and l would always be fine" he said as he smiled back at her.
Nessy just blinked her eyes few times and lick her lips "whoa is it hot here or is it just me " she said as she used her both hands to fan her face with a hard blush on her face. "You do know how to flatter someone" she said again playfully this time as she slap his chest.
"Ouh" Geb said, pretending to feel pain as he followed along in the joke. Which made Nessy giggle a little.
"Am really sorry about today, l promise it won't happen again " Geb said again after their play was over.
"Am sorry too for over reacting" Nessy answered him as she creased his chest. "But you should really consider patching things up with your sister and so we can avoid trouble " the way she said 'sister' proved that she really didn't believe that they were siblings. If they were, why then did she kiss him and call him hers like two lovers that are reunited after a long time. These went through her mind, but she left them stuck there. She wanted to forget about the woman, but still wanted peace. Even though she was arrogant, this that concerned Geb now made her meek.
Geb read her thoughts and didn't want her to have an unanswered question in her mind, so he answered her " Nut is indeed my sister and she just has this thing for me" he said, thinking of the right words to use. He didn't want her to know about his past, else she might reject and forsake him like his father did, because of his incest relationship with Nut his twin sister. Although he regrets his actions now but it can't be changed, neither can it be reversed. So the best option was to leave it in the past, where it rightfully belongs.
"Thing? " Nessy said confused. "Is she an incest or is just an intense sibling love? " she asked looking directly into his eyes.
Geb was short of words, had to go on with the lie if he wanted a future with Nessy. "its just an intense sibling love and she came all the way from our home town, to this place just to see me. So she just had an outburst of emotions ".
"Oh ok, maybe l can get a proper discussion with her next time, l mean as a friend of her brother's" Nessy said not finding the suitable word to use for what they shared.
"Really?" Geb asked in an alluring voice " are we friends?" As he drew closer to her.
Nessy took few steps backwards "l don't know what else are we or can we be? " she asked nervously.
Geb stared directly into her grey orbs and studied them for some seconds before speaking "you are just mine, not my friend, but mine "...
