Their wedding day had been a soft introduction of Basileus Jr to the empire.
While their son had spent much of the evening in Theron and Solana's care along with the nanny, Varya and Basileus welcomed their son with open arms whenever he wasn't occupied.
After all the fun he had been having, he occasionally wanted to run back to his parents for comfort and gauge their reactions to the surroundings. He took to crowds of people surprisingly well.
However, his presence was made more obvious when Varya took him to the dance floor while there were plenty out there and she held the boy in her arms as she danced with him.
A smile remained on Varya's face as he giggled to his mother rocking him around in her arms and occasionally spinning to give him a little bit more excitement.
