"What's the meaning of this?"he asked in surprise.
"Brian, let him go."I said and shove my phone into my pocket. Brian dragged him outside. I quickly went to them. Mitch forcefully pulled out from Brian's grip.
"What's the matter with you? Have you gone insane?"Mitch asked angrily. I stepped in their middle.
"Guys calm down."I said.
"Listen to me Mitch, if you're gonna keep cheating on Crystal then count me out of it because I can't bear lying to her."Brian said.
"Hey dude, I thought you were my friend. I just asked you to cover up for me, is that too much to ask for?"Mitch said angrily.
"Ok,ok guys bring it down. Brian please calm down. And Mitch, Brian is kinda right. You know it would really hurt Crystal if she finds out about this."I said and Mitch turned to me.
"Come on J, you know I love Crystal more than the other girls. It's all just for fun. I'm gonna break up with those other girls."he said.
"When?"Brian asked.
"Real soon, I promise guys. Just help me till then."he said and Brian sighed.
"Ok, but make sure you're here with a birthday gift for Violet because we told them that you weren't to get it."I said.
"Yeah, I brought that along."he said.
"Fine, but make sure you break up with them ASAP."Brian said.
"Sure dude. You're getting worked up for nothing."Mitch said and they shook hands.
"Let's get back inside."I said and we walked inside.
"Babe.."Crystal called and ran to Mitch.
"Hey sweetie, how are you doing?"he asked.
"I'm fine, what took you so long?"she asked. He glanced at us.
"Well, it took me a long time before I could see a gift for Vi. You know she's quite picky."Mitch said and she laughed.
"Yeah, I also had an hard time getting a gift for her."she said. "Let's go to Vi now."she said and we walked through the crowd to the front.
"J is here, o my gosh."
"He's so dreamy."
"I love his hair."the girls kept whispering.
The birthday song was sang and we cut the cake with Violet. She received Lots of gifts. I was thinking on what to tell her since I forgot to get her a gift.
"Hey J."she called.
"Hmm"I looked at her.
"I didn't see your gift."she said holding my arms closely as we walked.
"Um..I..I didn't bring it with me."I said.
"What?"she stopped walking,with a frown.
"I'm gonna take you out tomorrow, that's my birthday gift."I said and she smiled.
"I love the sound of that."she said.
"Cool. After school then."I said.
"Yeah babe."she said and pecked me. "I'm gonna go to Crystal now, I'll be back."she said and left. Phew.. Thank God she loved what I came up with.
VIOLET'S P.O.V
I was so happy with J's gift. It's more valuable than any gifts thse people gave me. Now, where is that girl? I walked around.
"Hey Violet, Happy birthday." Two girls said to me and I faked a smile.
"Thank you."I said and wanted to leave but they continue talking to me.
" I really love your dress."one of them said touching it but I stylishly removed her hand.
"Um.. thank you. You guys are really nice but I have to go get something." I said.
"Okay." they said giggling and I walked away. How dare they touch me? Those wretched girls just want to be friends with me, but hell no.
I searched for Crystal and walked to the corridor. I saw her with Mitch. They were both engaged in an hot romance. Gosh they had to do it here?
"You know, there are so many rooms in this mansion, and this is the only place you could do this?"I asked and they stopped. They looked surprised to see me.
"Sorry, just missed my baby so much."Mitch said and I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever." I said.
" I'll see you later."he said. He pecked her and left.
"Gosh, you had to interrupt." she said and I smiled.
"Please don't give me that crap... and adjust yourself. Your dress, your hair, you look hideous." I said and laughed. she drew her dress down and adjusted her bra and her hair. "You two are really something else." I said.
"Can we have a drink?" she asked.
"Yeah sure, you need it."I said and we walked to the party. Everyone was dancing crazily. "J will be taking me out tomorrow." I said and she gasped.
"On a date?" she asked.
"I don't think I can call it that. He says it's his birthday gift to me." I said.
"It's still a date girl, you are slowly getting what you want." she said drank from her glass of juice.
"I guess so.. I just wish he asks me to be his girlfriend already." I said and scoffed.
"You just have to make sure no girl comes his way."she said
"Yeah, I seriously need to do something about him and Kyla. They are getting so close." I said.
"That's not a problem. Just think of something to make him hate her as before. Their so called friendship must not graduate." she said.
"That's my girl."I said with a smile and gave her an high five. "I can't wait for us to be so close like you and Mitch." I found myself saying.
"Really? But I thought you already..." she looked around and back at me. " I thought you already had sex with him."she whispered to me and I rolled my eyes.
" Well we almost did but it didn't happen. He doesn't seem interested in doing such things with me. Seriously, I don't understand him." I said in frustration.
"If it had happen you would have an higher chance of getting him."she said.
" I know right?"I said staring at J over where he stood with the guys. " I have to take a step, Crystal." I said and stood up. I walked to them.
"Hey birthday girl." they all hailed.
"Awwn..thanks guys. Um.. can I borrow J for some time?"I asked.
"Of course."Brian said.
" Sure." Mitch said.
"Thank you." I said and held J's arm. " come on." I said to him and he followed me.
"Where are we going?" he asked.
"Just come with me. I want to show you something." I said and held him tighter as we walked upstairs. We entered my room and I shut the door. He looked around.
"It's your room, I've seen it so many times." He said. I sat on the bed.
"That's not it." I'm actually not feeling too good." I said and he came to sit beside me. He felt my temperature.
"What happened? Do you feel any pain?"he asked.
"It's just a slight headache."I said and he brushed my hair with his fingers.
"Is there any drug here?"he asked.
"Yeah, at the drawer."I said pointing at it. He got up and went to there. He got it and also brought a bottled water. He gave them to me and I swallowed the drug.
"You'll be fine."he said and pulled me to himself. He's so protective of me. I'm gonna use that to my advantage. I moved closer to him.
" I feel a little better now that you're here." I said and smiled. He brushed my hair. I looked at him and kissed him without thinking twice.
