Nothing lasts forever.
The silence was broken when Linsy opened Finn's head necklace. Just a sec, though. The silence of the graveyard returned to Finn's room. It was so damn entirely until they could hear the sound of frying in the kitchen entering Linsy and Finn's eardrums.
They couldn't believe what came out of the necklace head that they opened.
Suddenly the door to the room opened from outside. Melisa checked on Finn and Linsy. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, everything's fine. Relax, we didn't do anything weird," Finn replied.
"Well, if you need me, just call." The door closed again, and Melisa left Finn and Linsy in the room.
"Empty?" Finn let out a short sigh. "I thought something amazing would come out, but it was just wind. I think there's advanced voice-tapping technology... What's it called? Voice, voice-"
Linsy snorted like a bull at the sight of the red cloth. "Voice recorder."
