It was then in a typical room, that a young man was sitting on his bed and he felt something going on before a light shone on those same eyes and he opened them wide. The soul that had been fully dormant in him, awakened from the first of its shackles and regained the memories that made him, who he was.
Having this new set of memories combined with the old ones, he realized that now, he was a young man living in a country named Lexius, the child of a stay-at-home mother, and a businessman father, aside from having three sisters, an older one, and two younger ones. His life was decent and there were no major problems, though recently it seemed his father was having some trouble at work.
That aside, he became 19 last month and was going to start college soon, but now that was nowhere near being a priority for him. He was Viggo Der Malick, the sole individual in the whole Martial Dao Multi-verse to know what exists beyond and the creator of the 12th plane, of course, college was not his most immediate priority.
Getting up from his bed, Viggo walked to his room's bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror, to face the surreal notion of having a whole new face. His skin kept its dark complexion just like before, but now instead of black, his hair was short and crimson red, while his eyes were golden just below his equally red eyelashes and eyebrows. In terms of body, he was slightly above average with a fit nontoned, or muscular body. The current outfit he was wearing was a white shirt and black pants with a black and white shoes followed by a black hoodie.
(Una, come out.) Viggo ordered in his mind.
Out of thin a small person with a dark skin complexion, white twin tail hair, and wings that seemed like a mixture of dragon and fairy wings, appeared before flying around Viggo a few times and before stopping to bow. That was Una, Viggo's first servant, and the operator of the system he had created. As a being carrying power holding the potential to cause the destruction of everything, Viggo decided that he needed to have something in place to hold him back and give him the chance to grow at a pace that he can follow, and control. For that reason, he created the Totality Domination System.
Aside from Una, he recreated another servant and item, the Nameless Ruler ring, a ring made to hide his identity and make it so people are unable to recognize him while it's active. The ring will create a nebulous cloud covering his face, and change his voice into an ethereal-sounding one, for the sake of keeping his personal life separate from the cultivation life at least until he has things under control.
(Has Alenor successfully solidified herself as one of the biggest names in the underworld?) Viggo questioned.

(interesting, I'm a completely normal human right now, but I'll be changing that.) Viggo declared before equipping the Nameless Ruler ring from his inventory, on the index finger of his right hand.
Doing so he completely concealed himself from external prying. That done, he sat on his bed and decided to begin meditation, and it was then and there that the Lipva City, one of the big cities of Lexius, experienced the fastest rate of decrease in the levels of Qi in the city and a large area surrounding it. Most people were unaware of this change, but all those in touch with the world of the cultivation and martial arts noticed this change.
As Viggo went from being a mortal straight to the 10th layer of the Qi application realm. Which simply consisted of the basic mastery of one's control over Qi, the external or mental energy force connected to all of reality and all its elements, also the base for all cultivation. Most individuals on the path of cultivation start with Qi because it is more easily accessible to everyone as opposed to the other two energy forces, Chi also known as internal or body energy, and Soul also known as spiritual or essence energy. The major difference between the three is the form utilized to cultivate them, Qi cultivation is done through meditation and enlightenment, while Chi cultivation is made through physical training and the strengthening of your body, and finally, Soul cultivation is done through the pursuit of desire and the control of one's indulge in it.
All three forms of cultivation have their advantages and disadvantages, as well as their techniques used to cultivate. Qi cultivation techniques tend to focus on a clear and capable mind able to eliminate all distractions and truly understand a truth of its own. Chi techniques focus on breathing and control of one's body as well as the destruction and rebirth of that same body as a much better version until one achieves the perfect body. Soul techniques focus on the understanding of one's desires and the satiation of the same, without losing oneself to the internal demons related to those same desires.
Cultivation is about the consolidation of one's character in the pursuit of immortality, whatever the one path takes, it will be possible to achieve something so long as perseverance is practiced. Giving up is the only true end, as those who don't shall continue to rise, at different paces, but always moving.
"The path of the truth is a never-ending one, where one's progress only serves as a reminder of how little one truly knows." Viggo opened his eyes, now feeling revitalized mentally, as the world around him had become much easier to perceive, and comprehend through the lens called eyes, and to add a new layer he could now see that same world through the use of Qi.

While Viggo was getting ready for his next breakthrough, many individuals in the Lipva city were doing their best to try, and understand the source of such an odd phenomenon, that actually reduced the Qi levels to an absolutely pitiful level in an area of 400km(248.5 miles) radius.
