Chapter 5 - Well Damn! Das a Time-skip!!

( This chapter has some major info dump A/N's If you're into it you can read it, if not, I don't really think you're missing much.)

-----------------------------

Shuji POV

Five years... Five years is all it took for my eight-year-old son's strategy to succeed.

Well, not completely, but enough that we don't have to worry about money any time soon.

I was a bit on the fence at first, but a bit of encouragement from Lala-chan removed any inhibitions that I might've had.

The first thing we did was invest in the best computer on the market at the time, which was 382.013,16 YEN... around 2.661 USD, So it was by no means a small amount, but I had faith in my son... my eight-year-old son...

Anyways! After buying the PC, Chihiro-kun started working immediately on the creation of the Website and App, it took him about 2 months to finish both, and another 2 weeks after that to create a game he called 'Flappy Bird' along with all the extra skins and advertising features. Though it wasn't until 2010 that 'Flappy Bird' really boomed in popularity, and we had advertisers coming left and right. It started bringing around 2,613,083,727.24 yen per year! That's around 18 million USD by in-app advertisement alone! And all because of some Swedish guy.

(A/N: Flappy Bird Revenue Key Data Points

The mobile game Flappy Bird was launched in May 2013 by Vietnam-based developer Dong Nguyen and published by DotGEARS Studios. It became popular fast, generating 50 million downloads by January 2014, making it one of the top free games on the Android and iOS app stores. The obvious question is – how much did Flappy Bird make? The game's author claimed that it generated $50,000 a day in in-app advertising.

It was criticized quickly for its similar design to Super Mario. Blaming its addictive nature, developer Nguyen removed the game from the app stores in February 2014, citing guilt as a major reason.

Download volume for Flappy Bird grew rapidly during the start of 2014 and then dropped as the game was removed. Zach Will suggests that it was a bump in reviews on the 9th January that led to the game's phenomenal success. )

-------------------------------------

At first, I didn't see the appeal of such a simple game, I mean it's just a stupid-looking bird avoiding pipes, what's fun about that... right?

When I asked him about it, he just huffed in my face and said.

'You wouldn't understand until you play it.' And when I asked when I could try, he just said, 'Not a chance, I wouldn't wish this suffering even against the greatest of enemies.' which makes no sense, considering we were about to release it to the public soon.

Sometimes I used to wonder if that kid was a Chūnibyō...

Well, all I can do is put my trust in him. And seeing how well the Website and App turned out, I was inclined to do so. We were steadily on our way to becoming one of the most used Reading and writing Apps in Japan!

He even decided at the end of 2008 to make a streaming service! It might not be much right now, but he guaranteed something would come out of it in the future. He said we would focus mostly on Asia for this as well.

--------------------

(A/N: The live streaming of video games is an activity where people broadcast themselves playing games to a live audience online. The practice became popular in the mid-2010s on the US -based site Twitch, before growing to YouTube, Facebook, China -based sites Huya Live, DouYu, and Bilibili, and other services.

This world is basically things blowing up earlier than they were suposed to, or not blowing up at all due to the pendemic... Just take our world as like a template, and imagine me, the author, manipulating is as I see fit.)

--------------------

He did the same thing in 2010 for the animation sector.

He said:

"Nah, don't worry about it yet. It's just prep work for when we animate the FATE series."

I know... he told me to make a company for something that wasn't scheduled to happen in at least five years!!

Ehem! Moving on...

Speaking of the FATE route, everything's going fine. I mean ignoring the extreme themes the stories present, and how surreal it is that it was written by an eight-year-old.

I'm almost concerned about the boy, though he blamed it on us for not supervising the books he's been reading in the store.

When I first asked him about the extreme themes in the series, he just walk upstairs and came back a few seconds later with a book that almost made me pale the second I saw it.

'You should really hide this better' He said, handing me the book, and walking away again. Leaving me left in the living room with a copy of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' in my hands.

Safe to say, I slept on the couch that night when Lala-chan walked in and asked about the book.

...Back to FATE, yeah so... He decided to start the series with what he called 'FATE/ Nameless Archer' followed by 'FATE/stay night' and then with 'FATE/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works'

I don't know why there has to be more than 1 version of the same story, but the premise sounded interesting enough.

No, the really crazy thing about all that is, is that he has at least 10! different FATE titles written down!!

----------------------------------------

( A/N: FATE: A NAMELESS ARCHER 2008----> FATE/STAY NIGHT 2009---> FATE/STAY NIGHT: UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS 2010 -----> FATE/STAY NIGHT: HEAVENS FEEL 2011-----> FATE: FAILED HERO 2013---> FATE/ZERO 2014--->FATE/ OATH UNDER SNOW 2016---->FATE/KALEID LINEAR 2017---> FATE: APOCRYPHA 2019----> FATE/ GRAND ORDER 2020

Nameless archer is basically a self-made story by the MC that wanted about Counter guardian EMIYA's journey.

Stay night is more based on the visual novel than the anime adaptation, so with all the inner monologue as well.

Failed hero is a self-made story by the MC about the different jobs Kiritsugu has been on, and a deeper look into his ideology.

Oath under snow is just a longer version of the movie.

Kaleid linear is the same but with less fan-service, and Shirou actually is more than a throwaway character. So him actually working out, having muscle, doing a bit of kendo with Taiga, etc, and just not as much of a pushover to every woman ever.

Grand order will have EMIYA Alter as the archer for that one, to tease a potential different version of 'Nameless Archer' in the future. Plus planning on releasing the game right after.

Anyway, I'm just typing it here in case I forget to mention the progress after this.)

-----------------------------------------

Talk about over the top...

In any case, he doesn't do anything by half. With just these projects in motion, he already brought the Nakamura name higher than it originally was! We even have plenty of Authors, Game creators, and Animators lining up to sign a contract with us!!

We progressed so much that we had to split the company into different companies!

Nakamura Publisher,

Nakamura Gaming,

Nakamura Animation,

And Nakamura streaming!! Or rather, Underworld.

We grew massively these last few years, and I've been a lot busier because of it. Heck, even Lala-chan took over on the Nakamura Publisher part now that Chi-kun taught her how to use the coding language he made.

Yeah... He made an entirely difrent coding language.

These last few years have been full of surprises, some good, some bad... really bad..., but overall they've been pretty good...

Now if only Mania-chan could come out of her shell a bit more... the quarantine and the online schooling hasn't been the best for her social development.

The only ones she talks to are me, Lala-chan, and Chihiro-kun. *Sigh* I don't know what I'm going to do with that girl...Oh... that reminds me of her mutation.

*Sigh* Not that it's a very bad one, or even that rare to be honest, just a bit uncommon.

It's just the size that lowered her already rock-bottom self-esteem. I mean really? What type of sick f*ck makes a Futanari with a small penis?

( A/N: ...The devil made me do it! )

She seemed pretty excited when she first got it, but all that excitement turned to shame as soon as she saw how small it was... She was about 3 Inches... 3.2 on a good day.

It doesn't help that she became infertile as a direct consequence of her mutation.

I tried to encourage her, telling her it would grow once she got older... It worked for a bit. Well until my son got me got our mutations... all basically penis-related...

And weirdly enough, Lala-chan got the ability to lactate at will...

That's besides the point, *Ehem*, I'm able to control the size and shape of the tip of my penis, which stands at a proud 6 Inches by the way. But that pales in comparison with my son, who got the ability to perfectly control every part of his hip area... crotch included.

So basically my mutation... but better. Though, when he first heard about it, he had this weird glint in his eyes, almost like he was struck with inspiration...

Anyway, that's when the problems started. One day, due to Chihiro's carelessness, Mania-chan walked in on him bathing... and saw his semi-hard 6 Inch little brother laying proudly between his thighs, which just reinforced her low regard for herself.

Keep in mind, Mania-chan just turned 15 at this point, and Chihiro-kun was close to his 12 birthday.

Since then, she hasn't been able to look Chihiro-kun in the eye anymore... and considering it's already been a bit over a year since it happened, I think this is a pretty big deal... But I thought of the perfect plan to fix that.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

A knocking sound breaks me out of my musing.

"Come in!" I yell towards the door to my office.

'Speak of the devil' I thought.

"And he shall appear." Chihiro-kun said, calmly finishing my internal sentence.

I respond with a raised brow.

"Oh don't look at me like that~ It was written all over your face." He replied smoothly at my confused expression.

Nakamura Chihiro, my only son, even if the least masculine boy I've ever seen, he's my son nonetheless.

I mean really, even his voice sounds like it'll sound inviting in the future, and don't even get me started with his naturally flirty and teasing character.

'Huh... His eyebrow twitched, wonder why?' I internally muse.

He certainly looks like he'll be a heart-breaker in the future, but I'm not sure which gender, sometimes I wonder what his sexuality will be when he's old enough.

'Ah... It twitched again.' I thought amused.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think he was reading my thoughts-

"How long are you gonna ignore me, old man." He said, sounding a bit annoyed at my ignoring him.

'Yeah, that's probably it.' I concluded.

"Hmnn? What's up Chi-kun, did you need me for something?" I asked.

He's changed quite a bit from the energetic little Chunibyo that wouldn't shut up about his greatness.

"Yep, just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm launching 'Failed Hero' for the VIP's" He replied, handing me a binder full of information. " And this is my best guess at the reactions we'll be getting." He finished.

'Yeah... 'Failed Hero' is pretty dark if I remember correctly.' I thought as I flip through the pages to get an overview of reactions.

"Hmnn... it seems about right." I started, closing the binder. "But I think you're forgetting something Genius-kun." I continue, receiving a confused look from the boy genius.

"Tomorrow's Christmas you dummy." I said, lightly smacking him on the head with the binder.

*Twack*

"Nobody wants to read a dark story on Christmas." I finished, slightly relishing in his surprised expression.

"Eh!? Christmas is tomorrow!" He voiced in surprise, pulling his phone out of his pocket to check the date.

"Haha, did that really skip your mind?" I said amused. "You must be pretty busy then."

*Smack*

"UGH... It's not that I'm busy... just slipped my mind." He muttered as he facepalmed. "How am I supposed to get something for Maya-chan on such short notice."

Smiling warmly at his thoughtfulness, I open a drawer and pull out a document.

"Here," I said, handing him the document. "No need to worry about that, I've got you covered."

Looking confused at the document now in his hand, he decides to sift through it, stopping at a childish drawing in the middle.

"No way..." He said in shock.

"Yeah way." I replied smugly.

"How did you manage to pull this off?" He asked in awe.

Well, I would be too if I managed to submit one of Manai-chan's OC Pokimon, and pay for it to be canonized. Basically giving Mania-chan her own custom Pokimon. She called it 'Gastly'.

"Hmpf, I have my ways... Think of this as your reward for all the work you've done these past few years." I said, putting my hand on his shoulder for reassurance. "I know you didn't mean to affect her this heavily, but as a man, a mistake is a mistake... So you'd better own up to it, and make it right...Okay?"

Looking at me with a determined expression on his face, he grasps the document tightly.

"You got it, old man!" He said excitedly with a smile on his face. But without me noticing, as soon as he passed the door his expression turned complicated, and muttered a quiet 'Dammit' before walking away.

After he leaves, and I'm alone once more, I look at a lone picture on the desk in sadness.

"Don't worry mom, dad... You guys can rest easy, everything's going to be all right down here." I muttered, not knowing the disaster that tomorrow will bring.
