Cierra's mind raced at Aisling's words.
"Brigid is here? I can talk to her in person?" Goldie had said Brigid stayed in this realm, but she hadn't expected such an old goddess to so easy to get in touch with.
"In a manner of speaking," Aisling replied, "She will listen to you. Whether she gives a reply is up to her."
Cierra rolled Aisling words around in her head. It sounded to her like when people offered prayers to God. Perhaps the Brigantes were taking her to a temple of Brigid? Goldie had said that the goddess was considered a saint now. As long as Aisling wasn't thinking about killing her so she could talk to the goddess...
Cierra looked down at Cid, who had stopped growling and was now watching Aisling with curious eyes. She knew that Cid had a keen sense for danger, and if he trusted Aisling, she could too.
"I suppose your skogkatt can keep up with the horses?" Aisling asked, eyebrow raised.
