Chapter 19, Do You think only your other son is smart?
After carefully considering it, he decided to tell him everything he knew, after all, the old man has his ways and would eventually find out anyways so he might just tell him.
"This is very simple dad, you may be able to lock me inside the room, but you still forgot to take my phone which means I could still make phone calls right?
I've worked for Baron Enterprise for what? Two years? I had someone from the board, you don't have to ask who it is, but to know that that person helped me convey a message to my dear brother.
He got to think that making m his cousin was the best option for him and I, not only would it lift the name of the company and it's stock ratings, he got out to be a good cousin and Instill get to keep my identity as a Baron.
It's a win win for us all, there was no way someone in his right sense will reject such an offer.
It turned out that even my dear brother who's all mighty couldn't say no to the offer and he also listens to advice."
Johnathan finished speaking not really explaining in details what he meant, or what really happened but his father still quietly listened to him.
"Do you think it is only your other son that knows how to be smart?" Johnathan said with an unexplainable joy written all over his face after exposing what he did to his father.
"Remember, for two years now I've been working as a manger in the sales department of the Baron a enterprise, I've also gotten some skills"
"Without doubt my son, I can now see that" John's couldn't help but to praise his son for his newly acquired knowledge and the use of it.
It turns out that even behind closed doors, Johnathan could be able to think about a way to get himself out of the situation and also get something in return.
It was then that Master John Baron decided to let his son fight for the position from his brother.
Because if he, John Baron directly involve himself, James still had some things against him and could easily use it to tarnish him, so he had to be careful and weary of his own son so that he wouldn't do anything drastic.
Do it was better to let Johnathan fight him, once he's able to collect the company from him, then John can easily get back his company and continue ruling it as the president, after all, it was not he who backed down but he was cooped by his own son.
"Now you gotta get me a higher position at the company even if you can't get me to the role of the President dad, that's the only way my plan will work."
Johnathan said, although his voice was calm as if he knew that his father would do it, he still internally prayed that his father should grant him this wish.
Mr. Baron however was quiet for a little while, he sat there looking at his son wondering when his little Johnny had grown up to be the man sitting right in front of him.
"So dad, get going." Johnathan said after some moments of silence.
"You are not possibly telling me you still can't do this again right? Dad you know that this is not fair right? James comes from nowhere and assumed the position you were supposed to give me but what happens? When I decided to ask you for this little thing you sit there quietly?
Don't you then blame me if I act like him and do something irrational like he always did okay dad" Johnathan was now very angry, he had lost his patience seeing that the old man didn't say anything.
He stood up from where he sat across from his father and made way to go out of the room without the father saying anything.
He wasn't really going anywhere but his father doesn't need to know, he should also feel the way he made him feel too by keeping him in suspense.
That's when when Master John Baron finally spoke and asked Johnathan where he was going, Johnathan just snorted and proceeded to go out of the room.
But unfortunate for him, there were two men in black standing right in front of the room, they were his father's body guards and they stopped him from going any further.
"Dad, tell them to go out of my way, since you don't want to hep me, I'll do everything by myself." James came back and stood in front of his dad.
"Sit down my son" Master John Baron said pointing to the chair that Johnathan had stood up from.
Johnathan hesitated for a while, but he still moved, slowly but still moving, he moved and went back to sit in the seat his father pointed.
"Son, if you must do this, you must know that one should not act irrationally at any step because it is then that we easily fall into a pit that we probably created or someone created for us but we didn't know of it" John said with a serious tone.
"What do you mean dad?" Johnathan was now interested in what John had to say to him.
