Chapter 22, Back Home Early.
"Tell me, did your father send you to do this to me?" James suddenly spoke out of the blue.
Bella just looked at James with a very puzzled expression.
She didn't understand why James would all of sudden call her father's name in such a time as this.
Fine, she admired in her mind that she was wrong by hitting him on his head, but that was because she thought it was someone else, so why would he calm her father again? It was really puzzling.
He had never called her dad whenever they had few minutes of arguments, even though he had once mentioned her mother's name when they were arguing over a pancake.
Even at that time she didn't understand the meaning of his words, and she certainly still doesn't do now.
"What do you mean my father?" She asked him no longer able to contain her thoughts again.
"Of cause you'll still act you don't know, that all you do." James sneered at her.
He was expecting her to be asleep already by the time he came back, but it seems he's early today.
"Why aren't you even sleeping anyways?" He asked her changing the topic, he thinks that it's useless to even argue with her.
"I was watching my favorite tV series that's showing around this time, you've not been at home for long to even know this. Why are you back home early today?"
Bella more like murmured for herself as she turned and went back further into the house ignoring him at the door.
"Where are you going?" James asked when he saw that Bella was no longer standing interested in what he was saying or in him at all.
He hated that and called after her.
"I am going back to finish watching my movie." Bella answered.
"And who is going to massage my head? Or have you forgotten that you hit that thing on my head?"
Bella subconsciously looked at her hand and observed that she was still holding into it. She dropped it on the floor and went back to sit on the sofa, unmuted the television and focused her attention on it.
James went and sat in front of the tV obstructing her view from whatever she was watching.
Bella shifted to the other side to continue watching her movie but he still managed to obstruct her view.
No matter how far she moved or how she turns and twisted her neck, James would always stand in her view.
She couldn't help but look at him straight in the eye and ask him.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"You should treat my head since you're the one that broke it." James said matter of factly. His time made it very much impossible for her to reject or ignore his words.
And after he said it, she looked up at the side of his head where she had hit and saw that there was swelling in the place she hit.
She felt his words were fair so she went back to the room, brought out a first aid kit and applied ointment on the place as she gently massaged it.
By the time she was done, she was no longer interested in watching television again she time has passed and the episode of series for that day had already finished.
James also who had been tired from a long day went to his room. That night, he wasn't in the mood to invite anybody to spend the night with him so he just went straight to bed.
But even as he lay on the soft king size bed in the master room of the penthouse, he didn't sleep immediately.
He was bush thinking about how the next day would be and how the rest of his plans would turn out to be.

The next day, James didn't wake up early, he had already resolute in his mind that he was not going to work that day.
There was really nothing serious for him to do at work today.
So many things had happened two days ago, but it had already been resolved, well most of them.
But James knows the importance of his own time and wanted to value it.
Although he valued his time in his own way. When he was given break for honeymoon, he decided to show to work.
Even though something did happen at that time and his brother almost jeopardize everything that he had done, but luckily for him, at that time, it was to his win advantage that he went to work.
But now that his honeymoon break was over, he decided to give himself one
So he deliberately switched off his alarm clock before going to bed the other night and slept comfortably until he naturally woke up by himself.
He took his shower and went out of the room to see the light of the day in other parts of the house.
Still feeling lazy, James first headed to the kitchen to get coffee , but he was surprised by what he saw.
