Second Earth Phase : Day 11
Ray's POV
The night was simple. Anothrr fight ensued. Obviously it was between Amsterdam and the Somore man. Sydney decided it was time she intervened as the 'girlfriend' (is that a girl thing? Girlfriend?) so i let her. Kobie on the other hand felt that that was tge best opportunity to go live on Phasegram. Unfortunately for me, and Sydney of course, we're paying for his actions.
Amsterdam : (Pacing in the office) Papa would be in any moment soon. Have you lot got anything to say before he arrives?
Sydney : See, i was busy separating you from your uncle.
Amsterdam : (Interrupting) I'm not blind Syd. I remember. What gives, that's the question!
She stares at me, waiting for a response. I shrug. "You SAW him...". "I know i did. What did you expect me to do? Stop him. Miss don't be absurd.", i retort back, "You don't pay me outside of work, keep that at the back of your mind!".
She suddenly stopped pacing.. I knew what i said quickly struck a nerve. She slowly tilted her head in the weirdest way possible, and shifted her eyesight to me. Then i noticed. She had scarlet eyes, not dark ruby(How could i have misraken them?)." Look here Ray. I know what i pay you for. As a subordinate. But as a friend, you should know better.", she said and calmly moved her body back to an upright position. Turning to face the window, she added, "I know you'd tell that the same goes for me, but my reasons for fighting with him are blunt personal. When the time comes, you'd understand".

Auguste bumped his head on the table and groaned. "You promised me Ams. What did you do?", he mopped his words into the silent conference hall. Sydney was skimming through the laptop, examining the post and its recent likes. "Gone to 50k sir", she said. "50k!?Ams!", her father slammed his hands on the table, "You're better than this!". "Sir there's no need to be giddy like so. It was one mishap. She promises," Ray said as he eyed at her, "it won't happen again."
"I do hope so", he replied. He called for the receptionist to take his bag outside. Amsterdam childishly trailed behind him. As he was sitting in the car, he said, "You've got to be one of the luckiest children in the world for people to be backing you up like so. Don't disappoint me, please". She nodded, ever so quaint.
The late afternoon sky were slowly dimming, as was Amsterdam's spirit. She had put them in a lot of trouble, she knew. She was disappointed in herself, that one was for sure. New friends helping her, such a disgrace. "For Anak's sake, Amsterdam we're leaving", Ray called out to her. She raised her head. Without hesitation, he brought out his hand to her. "You need a breather. C'mon, I've got just the place". After informing Sydney of his change of plans, he pulled Amsterdam out and they started walking.

Kobie's POV
He's gonna be late again, i thought as i closed my eyes. Nass was teaching us how to conjure a weapon from memory. How does Ray get it soo easily?
"Realm to Kobie. What's in your mind?", Nass snapped her fingers at me. What i conjured was just a wobbly piece of a fire flame(just named it that). I pursed my lips and said nothing. "Maybe i know just the thing to make you right", she said as she helped me to my feet. "What is it Nass?", i asked. She just shushed me and beckoned me to the kitchen.
It was dark for some reason.
