The machine guns were out, Journee and Kay heard the guns going back down. "Clothes! Clothes!" shouted Kay. "Makeup!" shouted Journee. They both ran to their rooms and got out of their clothes. All the clothes landed all over their rooms. Falling and getting stuck in their clothes, somehow, they got into their house clothes.
Journee ran from her room and jumped over the couch and sat on it urgently. She bounced once due to the spring action and settled on the couch. Kay too ran from his room, skidded all the way to the couch, and sat with a thud making Journee bounce again. Kay immediately grabbed the remote and they switched on the TV.
They still had to catch their breath. The TV started speaking and at that very moment, William opened the door and entered the house. Both Journee and Kay gulped and looked at him.
"Oh, you are here?" smiled Kay.
