William was soundly sleeping when he heard a devastating scream. He immediately grabbed his gun and ran towards the main door thinking some of his neighbours needed help. As he lived alone, he was sure that help was needed elsewhere.
The moment his hand reached the door lock, he realized that the sound was coming from inside his house. He saw the light in Kay's room and realized what was happening. He ran towards Journee's room. Kay was right behind him.
They both entered the room and saw Journee writhing in pain. William ran to her and tried hard to wake her up she kept shouting, "no, no" at the top of her lungs.
She sat up, looked at her fathers, and started crying loudly. William and Kay's hearts broke into million pieces after seeing the way Journee was acting. She was drenched in sweat and was hyperventilating. Other than that, she made no movement.
