Chapter 41 - Meeting behind the school

Whenever two students wanted to stay, that was the meeting point. Hiding from the curious eyes, the authority figures of the school, and giving a spicy first kiss. Theodore had heard many girls seem anxious when they made an appointment there, but he himself had never been lucky enough to have his turn.

To date.

When he arrived, Theodore pressed the strap of the backpack holding his breath when he saw a known figure waiting for him. The heart had accelerated at the same moment to notice Gabriel leaning against the wall wearing the physical education uniform.

As handsome as a fairy-tale prince charming. Cursed were the tank tops that highlighted the muscles of the arms. The dark, raised hair swayed with the wind, contrasting the pale complexion. Gabriel was simply the most beautiful person in Theodore's world.

He had remained there without having the strength to take steps forward. He had swallowed dry several times, feeling his lips become dry incessantly.

He wanted to leave.

It was crazy what he was doing.

What were he thinking when agreed to that?

If there were no strength to go to Gabriel, there would be no strength to take him away.

A breeze had come from behind Theodore, going up to the alpha carrying the sweet smell making Gabriel raise his head and look at him in his direction. He had opened his usual gentle smile, untied from the wall to wave.

― You came! I was already imagining I'd get dumped.

Now that his presence had been noticed, Theodore had no choice but to approach. Dragging his feet trying to count sheep to keep calm, the omega pretended non-existent calm.

― How was practice?

― They announced the keys to the matches and gave me the new team uniform. So... I'm nervous.

Slightly surprised, Theodore had let out a low laugh.

― Now you're nervous? Wow, I thought I'd never be like this.

— Talking about competing is one thing, but having a set date makes it all very real. ― Laughing Gabriel scratching the back of the head, taking a step closer to Theodore ― But why didn't you come to the court today? You're okay?

Without a ready reaction, Theodore had remained facing Gabriel muted. Even if he died at that very moment he would admit that he had left his assistant duties aside because he was too eager to be with Gabriel.

No fucking way.

― I slept too well.

― Are you okay? Hard to see you sleeping in the class.

― I will survive.

The two boys were silent without facing each other. Theodore fought an inner battle to keep track of his instincts and desires, being quite difficult when he had the smell of Gabriel so close to him about to engage him.

― Thanks for coming. I know I asked for something... weird. But it's important to me.

Aiming the blue pearls at the alpha, he noticed a slight blush on Gabriel's face. It was not at all fair for him to say those things, he could misinterpret them. Just as he had done with so many other alpha lines.

Without trusting his own voice, since all his effort was aimed at containing his smell, the omega only agreed with the head.

The sound of a beeping cell phone caught the attention of the two boys. Gabriel turned to his backpack thrown against the wall, moving away from the omega to check the device. Taking advantage of the distance created, Theodore breathed deeply looking at the sky.

Take courage.

Get it over with.

If he ran away, Gabriel might get it wrong. Or worse, to think that Theodore had really been nervous about liking him. It wasn't a lie, but he said he would swallow his feelings and desires so the alpha wouldn't find out. So he had to appear indifferent.

Watching the alpha answer some message, Theodore clenched his fingers in fist.

Get it over with.

Just a simple kiss.

Nothing deep.

Filling his lungs with air, Theodore went out to a crouching Gabriel. Moistening his lips with the tip of his tongue, he crouched in front of him taking advantage of his distraction on his cell phone to hold the nape of the alpha and pull it towards him.

Caring for absolutely nothing in that little drop of courage, Theodore had joined his lips to Gabriel's in a strong and lingering saddle. He tried his best not to dwell on the softness of the dark hair tangled in his fingers. Nor in the heat of the breath hitting his face. Much less in the wonderful sensation that the thin lips of the alpha over yours.

He slowly turned away from the alpha, looking him in the eye listening to the rope that kept his sanity contained breaking. Before his desires were realized by Gabriel, Theodore gave a full stop.

― I hope it's enough to help you.

Getting up he arranged the backpack over his shoulder without any force on his legs. He wanted to go home as fast as he could, his scent was starting to slip away. But precisely because he wanted everything to end as quickly as possible, he had been prevented by Gabriel holding his wrist.

― Wait, Theodore, wait.

Turning to the alpha he had tried to convey the indifference he had planned before, noting Gabriel's closeness without letting go of his wrist. He swallowed hard forcing his voice out.

― What was it? ― Questioning the omega with a hoarse voice.

It was only by having Gabriel's face so close to yours that the omega could notice the slightly dilated pupils. The scent of the alpha began to prowl around him seductively, weakening every member of his body. Squeezing the blonde's wrist, Gabriel's long fingers had pulled Theodore hard enough for his right hand to rest on his pale cheek.

Breaking the distance, it was Gabriel who glued his lips to the blonde in a completely different touch from the previous one. There would be no hurry and no strength, but an impeccable sweetness. The wet lips of the alpha embraced those of Theodore with tenderness moving gently.

Ah, what the fuck.

He had tried so hard to contain his desires, his feelings...

Since the possibility of them kissing had been born, Theodore had dreamed of kissing. How would it be? How would it feel? Certainly different from what was happening at that moment.

How could he handle that kiss? When the Alpha slowly overpowered him by taking him hostage to his own trap. Theodore was not able to control anything else when he allowed Gabriel to guide him in that kiss.

His hand was so warm, I felt his thumb caress her cheek subtly. Some of Gabriel's fingers were tangled in his disheveled blonde hair. The omega pulse was loose so that the other hand held Theodore's waist holding him in another way. The backpack had fallen to the ground with the sudden and strong pull, which surprised Theodore.

The movement of the lips intensified when Theodore could not resist in returning. Although he had given himself up for the moment, he had not dared to touch Gabriel. He knew that if he did it would be a path of no return. His desires were too intense to heal with just one kiss.

Especially when Gabriel asked for passage to deepen the bone. Their tongues curled delicately like two lovers who had not seen each other for years, their mouths perfectly fit each other. The Alpha held Theodore in his arms, having those two boys about to lose the sanity of their desires.

If it wasn't for a ringtone.

As a rope to save someone trapped at the bottom of the well, Theodore held on to that touch to regain his sanity and get away from Gabriel ending the delicious kiss abruptly.

With red and swollen lips, and his panting breath, the omega took the cell phone out of his pocket. He had blinked a few times trying to see who would be calling, but his fingers were quicker in pressing the greenish button.

― Hello?

― Theo, it's Mommy. I wanted to ask you a favour, are you free? Are you home yet?

Raising his clear eyes to Gabriel who stared at him with his pupils still dilated, the blonde took a few steps back increasing the distance between them.

― I'm still in school, do you need anything?

— I was about to leave work when I was called to cover a shift at the hospital. I need you to run and pick up your sister from school.

Turning his head to look at the sky, he came across the orange tone of the sunset. It was getting late for a little girl to wait alone at school. Theodore leaned over to take the backpack for the second time and throw it over his shoulder, under Gabriel's watch.

― But of course I can, just tell Lisa I'm coming.

― I'll call the school and let they know, then. Oh, and take the time to advance the dinner, otherwise she'll eat late.

― All right, I'll take care of the princess.

Turning off the phone, Theodore raised his eyes to Gabriel finding the perfect excuse to run away. Taking a few steps back, he cleared his throat to get his attention.

― Sorry, Gabriel, I have to go now. See you tomorrow!

Leaving an alpha behind, Theodore ran out of school. With a beautiful smile on his face, because the guy he was in love with had taken the initiative to kiss him a second time.
