There was an indescribable concentration of Kali's breathing. Her wings were flapping making a pleasant sonating sound in Lucas's ears. The rubbing noise of his body on the scales, the blowing strong wind that grew stronger each time Kali thrust her wings forward into the air, and the only exciting thing: Lucas felt adrenaline flying on a dragon.
The breathing rate was rising, causing Lucas' heartbeat to increase. His blood pressure rose so much that he got a throbbing pulse.
Invisible butterflies flew in his stomach and made him giggle against his will.
The feelings of fear from a minute ago were gone, and the terrible sense of guilt that Kali had lost her voice was gone for a moment.
The only concentration that remained was the black dragon without wings running after them, trying to chase them off the ground.
"Will this presence of dark forces or whatever disappear soon?" Lucas breathed in more air after the question and pulled his body closer to Kali's scaly skin.
He felt ignored as Haya didn't answer his question, his eyes were focused on the black creature moving towards them.
"Hey, I asked you a question!" He repeated himself.
No answer was given.
'That arrogant bastard!' Lucas gritted his teeth and clenched his jaw.
'System, open the map,' Haya spoke to the system instead of answering Lucas' question.
[System activated.]
[Map displayed]
A 3D - looking dimensional image of a map appeared in front of them, obscuring the light blue view and the clouds.
"Good, we're almost there," Haya said aloud to himself.
Lucas was unable to see anything on his map, even though he'd his own, but surviving and not falling off Kali's back was the only instinct that kept him from being curious.
"Kali, do you think you could fly faster?" Haya asked her in a louder tone.
Kali nodded her lizard head and nudged her wings with more force, turning to the side to speed up and flying straight again.
Gravity was too strong for Lucas, with each movement of Kali he'd to hold on tighter. The fear of falling and being eaten by another dragon made Lucas' hands sweat, it became harder and harder to hold on to Kali.
"Hold on tighter, we're almost there!" Haya commanded Lucas not to fall down, while he himself tried to do the same.
The pressure of the rising wind and the lack of air made Lucas' eyes blur. Everything in his eyes was spinning. The heavy feeling in his head and the lack of oxygen reaching his brain forced him to close his eyes.
Darkness filled his gaze, he could no longer see the bright blue sky and wispy clouds no longer touched his face.
"Oh, you're already dead." That proud and arrogant voice appeared out of nowhere and made Lucas' body tremble.
He quickly opened his eyes.
The voice in his head sounded like the one from before and forced Lucas' heart to hammer in his chest.
He surpassed a shiver.
"Are you mad, what are you doing?" A harsh, angry voice greeted Lucas as he opened his eyes.
He scanned the situation and suddenly saw himself lying on Kali's left side of the wing, forced to hold hands with this man whose name he did not even know.
Lucas' sweaty hands were slippery and forced Haya to hold him even tighter.
"Hold still, do not move!" Haya commanded him loudly.
Lucas' stomach tingled, panic coursed through him and he heard the same voice speaking in his head: 'Just let go and let the dragon eat you.' The voice laughed afterwards.
Another amount of fear rose in Lucas' body and made his legs wobbly.
Suddenly he remembered that if he died in this place, Kali had no chance of returning home, and that somehow he had to find this wizard to bring them both back to their world.
"That's not going to happen!" Lucas replied to the voice in his head, pressing his other hand on Kali's wing.
At the moment, one of his hands was held by Haya, and with the other, which he placed on the lizard-like feeling skin, he supported his body from falling down
He looked down, and when he was about fourty metres above the black, fearsome dragon, he swallowed his fear and felt more comfortable as he spoke, "How far is it to the city of the elves?" He called out to Haya.
He gave him no answer.
Being ignored again did not stop Lucas from feeling more confident. This feeling was one of those he experienced daily at school and in his real-life activities.
Being neglected by his teachers and let down by his work colleagues did not bother him, and even Haya's somewhat arrogant attitude towards him did not upset him
Lucas decided not to ask another question, as he also had a bit of pride in him, 'Ignore me all you want, I only care about Kali anyway.' He murmured and pulled himself closer to Kali's front of the wing.
He allowed himself a better and clearer look, and his heart almost stopped at the breathtaking scenery.
Purple crystal clouds hung in the air, changing colour from dark to light shades of pink. The previous sky-blue colour disappeared, making Lucas think he was in a completely different universe.
He looked down and the mesmerising tall black trees gave him the feeling that this place was unlocked in some kind of game.
He had never seen black leaves covering the ground before.
It looked like a dark river that flooded the ground and made everything around it disappear because the diamond sparks on it shone like the sun's rays from below.
The smell was different too, from the moment he entered this world, a musty smell surrounded his nose, or maybe it just blocked his senses, but the moment his vision changed, the smell of this place changed too.
"Kali, land now!" Haya said to her.
Without waiting for a response, she changed the direction of her wings and hit the ground, causing Lucas' body to slide down a little more.
Haya let go of his hand.
Lucas lost concentration and the balance of his body, he slipped and began to fall to the ground.
It was no longer high enough to die, but it was enough to break something.
Suddenly he remembered that the black dragon was after them and his heart began to beat faster: "Please do not eat me, please do not eat me" he thought as he fell.
He closed his eyes and accepted his soon - to - be broken - bones fate.
'There is nothing I can do now.' Thought he and let a long sigh escape his mouth as he suddenly stopped moving and felt trapped in the air, "What is it?" He opened his eyes and saw another beautiful woman standing in front of him.
Her large breasts took Lucas' attention, her slender waist looked like a string and her wide hips reminded him of a guitar. 'She's busty," his eyes widened and when he looked up to see her face, her long dark green hair hid her slender but muscular shoulders.
In his eyes, she looked like a soldier.
Her black lashes hid her dark violet eyes and with every smile she put on, her eyelids closed so that he could see a strange neon eyeshadow, "she's marvelous," he gulped.
He looked down a little from her high nose to her plump lips and saw them open,
"Izek, if you take one step forward, you will die."
