My smile crumbled when Jaime said Pam's name.
"What!" I exclaimed.
"Hey relax, it's only for two nights" Jaime grinned.
"You find this funny right?" I glared at him.
"Hey chill" he winked, clearly enjoying himself
"Jaime Burns" I said in a hard tone.
"Ok fine, but I don't see why you should be annoyed though" he draped one arm around my shoulder.
"Really?, you seriously don't know?" I frowned
"I... Come with, I'll see you to your room." He said, knowing if he tries to deny she won't let him hear the end of it.
*
Jaime rode in the elevator with me and saw me off to my room with an instruction from one of the teachers, his room was in the third floor, he booked a suite for himself and was exempted from the principal's orders, being the chairman's son and all.
Seeing Pam in the room annoyed me but I let it pass,
"So you're really here eh?" She started before I even got the chance to put down my backpack.
"Why did you have to come on this trip?, what's your motive for coming?, you think you can outshine me?" She went on with her annoying questions, knowing we were expected in the hotel's restaurant in less than forty minutes and I still have to have my bath and dress up for dinner, I ignored her and went about my business.
"You've finally turned deaf and won't answer me?" My silence infuriated her but honestly I couldn't care less, I just wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible,
I took out the clothes I wanted to wear for the night and laid them on the bed, I actually decided to wear a dress, a blue knee length gown that matched the color of my eyes, I'm not going to a party so I didn't bring any heels, so I went for flat black shoes and it honestly went well with the dress,
"What do you think of yourself eh?" I could hear the hatred in her voice.
I took my towel and was on my way to the bathroom when she blocked my path.
"What do you want from me?" I asked her.
"What I want is for you to go far away from here, just leave Jaime alone!" She replied in anger
"And why should I do that?, why should I leave my boyfriend?" I raised my brows in question
"Because I want you to" she replied and I actually laughed.
"What's so funny?" She folded her hands in front of her, frowning.
"You're saying I should leave Jaime because you want me to?, nah, that's not a valid reason, you tell me why I should really leave him, then I might consider your opinion, now get out of my way" I smiled, actually I wasn't interested in messing with her head, I'll prefer if she just left on her own accord.
"I'm telling you this Alexandra, you leave my Jaime alone, else I'll make your life very miserable" she pointed a finger at me,
"My name is Alexandra Carson, and I'm not going to leave Jaime Burns because he's mine and I don't care what you say or think, you can take your threats and shove them down your throat, for the last time, get out of my way" The look on my face must have been scary because she actually stepped out of my way.
"You don't scare me, I'll make you leave Jaime whether you like it or not, and that is my promise to you" she said as I closed the door to the bathroom,
'And I promise you, I'll make you fall in love with a swine the next time you block my path' I said to myself,
I put up a wall between us so I won't listen to her rantings and stripped.
**
It took me ten minutes to finish the business of cleaning up, the water felt divine, I wanted to stay there for a long time, but then I couldn't, if I wanted to follow the rules and not get into trouble, I had to get out, get dressed and be on my way to the hotel's restaurant, besides I don't know if Pam has had her turn in the bathroom yet, I don't wanna be the one to make her late for dinner,
I toweled my hair hair dry, and took the hair dryer with me to further hasten the process of drying my hair.
"Pam, I'm done, if you wanna use the bathroom it's free now" I said as got out but got no answer.
"Pam?" I searched the room but she really wasn't there, maybe she had already taken her bath and...
Even better, now I can have the room alone to myself.
I sat before the mirror and dryed my hair, but saw a shadow in the mirror, I dropped the hair dryer and was up on my feet, I moved silently towards the figure behind the curtain, I got closer and was about to move the curtain when the light went off.
"What now?" I rolled my eyes, but the light was back before I could do anything about it, I moved the curtain but found the place empty.
What's this?, am I hallucinating now?
I shook the thought off and turned to go back to the mirror when I caught sight of my dress, something was terribly wrong with it, it looked...
I walked over to the bed and what!
I almost fainted seeing my beautiful dress in pieces, this is definitely Pam's doing and I won't spare her for this, my gaze darkened.

"I'm telling you, she won't be able to show her face here, she wanted to act smart with me and I taught her a lesson" I informed Tricia, my best friend.
"Now I'm sure she must be crying and blaming herself for showing up for this trip" Tricia said in her irritating child like voice.
"Definitely, I even got rid of her other clothes as well, now she'll have nothing to wear, think of how sick she'll feel when she finds out that all clothes are now rags, she'll feel so ashamed and cry her eyes out—"
"Huhn Pam?" Tricia interrupted me
"Yes?"
"Are you sure you cut all of her clothes to pieces like you said?" Tricia asked
"Well have I ever lied to you?, I did what I said I did, I cut her dress into so many pieces that she won't able to recognize it" I smirked, feeling good and proud of my efforts, she had dared to lecture me, well now she'll think twice before she speaks to me in that arrogant manner again,
"If you really did what you claim you did, then where did she get that pretty dress she's wearing?" Tricia asked frowning,
"Are you trying to act smart with me?"
"Just take a look yourself" she shrugged, I turned in my seat, to see what she is talking about.
"You didn't suddenly lose the ability to speak did you?" Tricia stared at me expecting an answer,
"I..." My eyes almost fell out of their sockets,
"How did that happen?" I couldn't close my mouth.
"Oh I don't know, you tore that dress right?, so you should know too" Tricia said as Alexandra and Jaime walked past our table.
"But I—"
"Oh well, since you started acting weird in the plane till we got to the hotel, I knew something was wrong with you, but now I really think you're mad" Tricia rolled her eyes.
"I'm telling you, I ruined that particular dress, in fact I ruined all her clothes—" I tried to explain.
"Yes I know, you ruined her clothes, and a lovely ghost or angel repaired them" Tricia nodded.
"But—"
"Please stop, I don't wanna listen to this, I just wanna eat in peace" she glared at me.
But I ruined her clothes!

The confusion in Pam's eyes was clear and I enjoyed it,
The urge to laugh at her was so tempting but I had to contend myself with a smile.
"Why are you smiling so much?" Jaime asked as he pulled out my chair.
"What?, I'm not allowed to smile anymore?"
"Not that, it's just that you were upset till few minutes ago" he explained.
"Is that it?, you like to see me upset and not happy?" I raised a brow.
"C'mon Andra, you know that's definitely not the case, I like to see you happy and you know that" he said and sat down.
"Oh is that true?" I smiled and blinked my eyes severally to let him know I wasn't buying his idea.
"You know it's the truth, but tell me something" he said as he picked the menu, I did the same, more students came into the restaurant,
"What did Pam mean when she said she cut your clothes to pieces?"
