(Ahhephokh/Necron Overlord POV)
Location the Warhammer 40k World-The Materium/Realspace: The Outer Rim of the Milky Way-North, Outside of Anarkarr Stars-Tombworld Cyrpheruss Underneath/Activating Necron Tomb
It almost inconceivable...all that my memory banks were showing me, all that was automatically recording while I and my dynasty were no more, than slaves to them!!!
The C'tan we've granted them physical form, and servitude and this?
This is what they repay us with!!!
While immortal, and never shall sickness or pain plague my kin again, we were reduce to nothing but emotionless slaves.
I shut down my memory bank, and looked around at the black and neon green grace that is what remain of my kingdom...I was once a grand king, ruling over my dynasty and a proud member of our empire...and like the rest of the Necrontyr, I was cursed with a short life...
So I dedicated myself to grow in power and authority among my peers, and surpassing the other rulers of our race.
Releasing a grunting sound from this...I look at the shell of metallic husk, made from Necrodermis, my hand grip on my Abyssal Staff, I refuse to ever be a slave again.
Walking down the metallic steps of my pyramid, with my neural scanners sensing my personal guards, following behind me.
Silent...and a shadow of their former glory, as my inner systems were connecting with growing number of activating necron, despite my pride and magnificent ability, I doubt that this "small" dynasty would be able to eliminate all that challenge our right to rule!!
A smashing sound echoed in my silent tomb, I realized that I'd lost control of my emotion...as I inspected my undamaged, metallic, claw-tipped hand and I thought, "Do I still actually feel?" tightening my fist, I kept my inspection of my tomb and awakening minions...
(General POV)
Location the Immaterium: The Blood Lands-Outside the Gore Fortress
Back in the Warp, the Dark Gods were amassing their armies for their combined attack on the Tombworld, Cyrpheruss, starting in the domain of the War God, the Blood Lands...
Khorne was overlooking the khornated legion amassing to his summons, as the Blood God stood by the top the stairs of the Gore Fortress with his family beside him Bellona and Painwheel at his left, and Valkia with Krom in her hands at his right.
Millions of daemons from bloodletters, to pyre fiends were coming from all corners of the Blood Lands, and under Kratos' commands the legions of blood were organizing for war.
Kratos with some Spartan guards following him, as he made his way through the legions of khornate daemons, inspecting all his troops, as all the khornate daemons were showing him the Daemon of Sparta, respectful reverence.
All the while the Blood Gods were watching with impressed look on their faces, especially Khorne and Bellona.
Such a mighty and skilled warrior, commander, and Elder Daemon in their faithful service, has brought great amounts of bloodshed, skulls, and conflict.
Speaking of it Bellona always admired Kratos, and has tried to insure his great deeds, as a warrior to bring her power and favor, but with the late Zeus and Ares' interferences it only cause great sorrow and problems to the Gods, Bellona chuckled as she thought of the end results of the Olympians...dead, crushed, and imprisoned around the Warp.
This thought made the Roman War Goddess, smirk and laugh at the end of the weak Olympians, this caught Painwheel's attention and she asked her stepmother, "Mother Bellona. Are you alright?" her words getting Bellona's attention, looking down at Anti-Skullgirl, standing next to and hugging, Khorne's leg.
Bellona admitted her stepdaughter looked adorable, and responded her question, "Just remembering things of my past, my little warrior princess." as she reached down, and gently petted her stepdaughter's head.
All their preparations were going smoothly, and soon once they achieve a couple more hundred daemons for their invading forces on the Materium world of Cyrpheruss.
Meanwhile in a another daemonic domain, another of the Dark Gods were making preparations for the war.
Location the Nethervoid-Castle Neo Oblivion, the Rooftop Garden
Laharl and his wives were watching their daemons gathering under the Second Elder Daemon, Mordred Deathharbinger's, setting a massive war camp.
Thousands of knightmares, stalkers, observers, succubi, and more laharlish daemons with exception of the water based daemons of Nyo and Scylla, but regardless the legions of Carnage are eager to wage war and destruction in the name of Dark One, and the Dark Ladies.
Laharl was looking quite please with the growing legion, that were overflowing with battlelust and destructive intentions, but his gaze turned to a new daemonic construct like his Infernals from WoW, he made a literal support and healing unit not only for his legions but all daemons of Chaos, as he just sent a psychic message just a bit ago of the new gift for their legion.
Floating over the laharlish daemons on the ground, was a couple of these new daemonic constructs aligned to Carnage, made from fine white and black marble, with swirling columns wrapped in dark florrah, all reaching up to massive, bright glowing, amethyst crystals.
But the main focal point was Carnage Altar, with thirteen black torches alit with violet flames, illuminating the "maiden" of this daemonic construct, all the other have a "maiden" and shrine in the style of Chaos of his brother, the Dark One's are statues made from stone, marble, amethyst, and black diamond to form a beautiful robbed and blindfolded maiden, with several horns on her head, black diamond composed angel wings, while chain to a Gothic cross, her clawed hands were grasping onto a skeleton of a human.
A human taken by Phobos the Equinox, at the most desperate and fear ridden moments of their death, taking these horror consumed souls to the Dark One, under Laharl's exclusive command to be used as anchors of terror and woe for the nourishment of his daemons.
Lastly two willing succubi are chained and soul-bond to this construct, perform vile and ravenous acts of lust, and also act as the source of defense against attackers, these are the Hallowed Carnage Temple, he used a simple name so they can each be called by their respected alliance, his Carnage, Tzeentch Change, ect...
Plus the Dark One gave his siblings a base model so they can finish as they'd desire, for Laharl cause his Hallowed Temple are mainly for healing, and buffing his daemons for a certain range, plus the succubi using both their "charm" and some spellcasting that will the only attack/defense options for his Hallowed Temples, even if Charm won't work on the Necron this war will still be a great place to introduce these new units.
He could only imagine what Khorne and Tzeentch would make their Hallowed Temples do and function in their armies, while Nurgle would be obvious a plague/miasma spreading construct that invigorates and heals his daemons, and make everything else sick, and blighted.
Then he felt a tug on his folded wings, acting like a coat, glancing to his side he saw his firstborn, his dear Mandraggohza who just opened her eyes and started to babble like an older baby, laughing and asking for her father's attention.
This made all the Carnage Queens gush over the little Dark Goddess of Thorns' cuteness, and Laharl smiled, as he crouched down and gently pick up his laughing baby girl, as she hugged him with great, loving affection.
Aside from that things were progressing without any problems, the Carnage Legion shall soon amass enough daemons for the upcoming Cyrpheruss invasion against the Necron, and in truth Laharl was excited to clash against the "undead/mummies" of the 40k World, while he was exclusively a Chaos player in the setting, Necron always had a special place in his heart when he was human...right under orkz.
Location the Realm of the Sorcerors-Near the Kingdom of the Skeksis Emperor/The Castle of the Dark Crystal
In the domain of the Scheming God and the Evolution Queen, Tzeentch picked the domain of his third Elder Daemon to amass his minions for war, and as added unit his new Hallowed Change Temples has not only arrived but have been completed by the Changer himself.
All decarabias swarming around them, along with the fluxing eyes and the Horrors ran around, cackling in curiosity at the floating eldritch daemonic constructs.
They're made from black colored stone, mixed with various crystals, with blue eldritch flesh spread around the whole temple but not on the "maiden" in the center, with glowing blue tzeentchian runes etched on almost every surface of the temples, having columns of sapphire crystals with shifting faces inside the both mesmerizing and disturbing crystaline columns.
Nine torches with blue and pink flames are alit around the "maiden" is composed of blue, pink, stones merged to a onyx statue of a cyplopian maiden without hair, golden tzeentchian accessories especially the head dress showing her light blue sapphire orb that is her single eye, has nine arms spread out, at her feet several blinded human, praying to her.
The maiden's wrists are chained to nine things, five being leashed to Screamers acting as both physical protectors, and provide the Hallowed Temples more speed and maneuverability, while the remaining four chains are wrapped around some indigo colored, floating stones which surge with eldritch energies.
Tzeentch designed his Hallowed Temples, to have aerial superiority, capable of firing both magical and psychic attacks to provide support to his daemons, the runes provide nearby tzeentchian daemons more power, and can grant some recovery from all damage that they might suffer in battle.
Lords of Change were the most intrigued and drawn to his new daemonic constructs, some have even requested from Lord Tzeentch and Lady Mitochondria Eve some of the Hallowed Change Temples, for their use in their future schemes and battles.
This made Tzeentch laugh wickedly, as the massive eyeball on one of his massive upper arm with large claws, started to twitch and look around erratically, only stopping on a upper center position.
The reason while focus on the amassing daemons, to notice that his dear Eve that wandered off into the air, then he heard their voice psychically, "Dear Tzeentch. We have a present for you." both happy and curious on what Mitochondria Eve were doing.
They manipulated their mitochondrial cells, along with the unpredictable power of the Immaterium, to create something?
After a few moments, a mass of blues, pinks, and orange slime like mass, similar to the ones that are common from their former homeworld, it grew and grew to a considerate size, only captivating Tzeentch and many other daemons curiosity on what the Dark Lady was making.
Once Mitochondria Eve were finished a smile was adorned in the young, flawless blue tinted face, as she made a downward swiping motion with their arms and the mass plopped down to the blue earth below, after a few moments the slime mass started to twitch and move.
Then some crocodilian creatures started to emerge, similar to the Mitochondrial Alligators they once created in their world, only changed and daemonic, with eyes sprouted everywhere but their heads, extra pair of limbs resembling the mitochondrial crabs only in blue colors, and a huge split tail that generates double the walts of their mortal counterparts, Mitochondria Eve floated down beside their dear Tzeentch and snuggling up to him, as they introduce their newest hellbeasts of change, the Sobeks.
They explained that aside their Screamers, and Cockatrice he needed a new beast, one that not only is physically tough, and fast moving but possess a powerful weapon, which is their electric attacks.
Tzeentch was truly pleasantly surprised, and happy with his gift, he kissed Mitochondria Eve, passionately and thanked her truly, making them flustered and blush from their fiancée's public show of affection.
As Tzeentch called for his second Elder Daemon, Vilitch and they immediately responded to his call, he granted him command over the Sobeks and expect them to use these new hellbeasts to their fullest in the upcoming war.
The Cursed Twins, bowed to their Dark Gods, and swear that these necrons will be crushed in their names, this made Tzeentch and Mitochondria Eve pleased, as the Elder Daemon Twins immediately took command of the new hellbeasts and organized them for battle.
With that the forces or Tzeentch have grown greatly in power, and more than likely ready for the upcoming war/invasion on Cyrpheruss, now they wait for their fellow Dark Gods to give the signal and the invasion shall commence.
Location the Plague Gardens-Outside the Federing Ruins of Rog'hna the Rotting City
Meanwhile in the fetered domain of the Plague God, and his beloved family, they were currently in the territory of the King Gallon, Nurgle's seventh Elder Daemon, watching the Elder Daemon organize their daemons for war.
Speaking of said elder daemon, Gallon was stomping around his massive, putrid body causing maggots and worms to fall off of him with ever step, Gallon's three heads were looking around the festering grounds around his kingdom, seeing all the gathering nurglings, plaguebearers, mukwalkers, plague toads, repulsive khaos and more, all eager for war in a infectious joy for the Grandfather.
In truth Gallon was honor that his Dark God, choose him to lead his legions in upcoming war, if any of his three hound heads had skin or lips they'd be smiling right now.
Then Gallon saw the newest addition of the Plague Legion, daemonic constructs called the Hallowed Plague Temples, it was not only him but the Plague Gods that were watching said temples float around the area.
They resemble a dilapidated, ruinous, and fungus covered stone and rusted metal structure, with columns of aged and withered stone coated in moss, mushrooms, and sickly, fleshy puss-ridden vines wrapped around them tightly.
There are seven torches of rusted green metal, all holding a miasma spewing lantern by a rusted hook, and then there's the maiden statue both beautiful and grotesque at the same time, in dirty robes with plague like damage skin on her limbs (think the Plague from dead by daylight), with huge rotting wooden antlers on their heads, lastly huge tumorous sacks on their upper back, that actually spew streams of thick, yellowish puss that poars down the sides of the temples, or onto huge wide cups held by actual living plague infested humans, chained to the columns, drinking the offering of the maiden with gusto.
Aside from puss, those giant, and disgusting tumor sacks of the maidens, also act as hives for small plague flies and scorpions to spawn and spread, acting a bio-hazzardous weapons to protect the Hallowed Temples.
Nurgle, Aiikila, Limos and Evaline were in awe at the Hallowed Temples, the Decaying God was once again grateful and happy with his latest gift from his older brother, Laharl, he designed his Hallowed Temples to spread ungodly stench, disease, and poison to cripple enemies while restoring his children with healing puss nectar, right now the nurglings, plaguebearers, and beasts of Nurgle were bathing and drinking the healing/intoxicating excess of his temples.
This brought a huge smile onto his bloated face, he originally wanted to make the maidens resemble Aiikila, but she felt shy and refuse his suggestion, which Nurgle understood, as his bone, slime coated claws were intwined with his dear wife, and their girls were resting on each of their laps, as the watch this carrion parade amass in their names.
Location the Materium/Realspace: The Outer Rim of the Milky Way-North, Outside of Anarkarr Stars-Tombworld Cyrpheruss
On Cyrpheruss, Ahhephokh has managed to awaken thousands of his kin, and started to emerge from the tombs below, as sands shifted and rised with entrances from below opening.
In the dark, thousands of green lights started to glow and move, the largest opening Ahhephokh was leading his dynasty out, his dark green, and tatered cape flowing in the wind, as he used his Abyssal Staff like a walking staff, stepping ahead of his legion with an air of arrogance, superiority, and regalness.
After some time contemplating his situation, he knows that he can't revive the ancient Necrontyr empire alone, as much as his ego was against awakening possibly still "living" rival from their tombs, the Necrons must unite to reclaim the galaxy that once was theirs.
By awakening the ancient Scythes, and Obelisks, as well as the Tomb Ships, they can traverse the galaxy in search for him, Szarekh, the Silent King, and thus their reign shall be secured.
It was both fortunate and unfortunate that his dynasty has some ships and aircrafts but they were buried in another location on Cyrpheruss, which annoyed Ahhephokh, as he walked through the white sand, with his necron warriors and canoptek followed him their undisputed Overlord.
As they marched, Ahhephokh's sensors started to send several alerts to Ahhephokh's monitor eyes, all saying that spikes of Warp energies which should be impossible, at first he assumes that it their ancient enemy the Eldar, but from what the scanners are saying it was too powerful, and chaotic to be them.
So the only logical conclusion it was daemons...as Ahhephokh eyes shun brighter than before, he smashed his Abyssal Staff onto the ground and horizontally swiped his right arm, signaling his legion to prepare for upcoming battle.
While he can't understand how or why the daemons of the Immaterium, would be after his people, let alone be able to detect them, he'll never run from battle or be denied, this whole universe belongs to the Necron!!!
Just then four colossal Chaos Rifts opened over the horizon, from a violet rift came legions of laharlish daemons from dark knights, succubi, and raptors that were lead by a giant armored daemonic behemoth, with massive claw armed with a heavy bolter, and on his other claw a massive spear-like sword, as his mace tip tail smashed the ground Mordred Deathharbinger, roared lifting his weapon.
The blue rift unleashed a legion of eldritch daemons, mostly avian or reptilian, lead by huge winged humanoid daemon, with growth of another being showing himself over the shoulder of the giant, smiling a wicket grin with rows needle like teeth, these are the Cursed Twins, Vilitch, as Vilitch's brother Thomin, spread his arms showing his magical sword and flail they spoke psychically to one another, "These automatons, remind me of those weak Tomb Kings, brother." Thomin responded, "Yes, they do. And like them they'll be crush by us." these words made Vilitch excited, as he lifted his staff and started flowing his magical power through it.
Then from the green rift, a putrid, and nauseous stench and miasma poured out, along with the bloated, diseased-ridden, green daemons, all with a sickly joyful, but ennauseating aura around them, and then came the humongous, corpse like, antler horned, three, skulled hounded-headed, daemon, stomping his way ahead of the nurglish daemons, he laughed with a deep voice of authority, as King Gallon has also enter the battle-to-be.
From the red rift, permeating the scent of sulphur and blood entered the air, as wrathful crimson daemons, overflowing with bloodlust and the hunger for battle emerge as well, all their burning blades, eyes, and breathe illuminating the area, these daemon made way for their superior, a pale white skinned and red marked warrior, with short but very sharp, and daemonic blades chained around his arms, overflowing with a rage that eclipsed the others, tightening his grip on his Blades of Chaos, he let out a mighty yell before screaming, "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONES!!!!!!" as Kratos was joined by his fellow khornate daemons, chanting praise to their Dark Gods.
And with that the battle that came to be called by the Necrons, as the Soulless War has officially begun.
