Chapter 6 - Retrieval

I had been under treatment for 3 years now in a very well-reputed and expensive hospital in LA.

Doctors believed that there was a 70% chance of my complete recovery.

Now I could sit with the aid of some support.

I could move my limbs. I had undergone in surgery twice.

But, still, there were 3 more surgeries left.

When a person falls ill and becomes totally bed-ridden when that person could even sit without support,

This is the time when you come across the real meaning of LOVE, your loved ones, and those who stood by you in your lowest time.

My mother was a beautiful woman, but in this time span, she started looking old.

My mother was my partner this whole time.

Now I realized, a person should not forget the love of their family for a stranger.

A stranger who didn't even love you back.

One should never forget about,

A mother who carries her child for 9 months in her womb and forever in her heart.

A father who worked day and night for her luxurious life.

Your siblings could do anything for you.

How could one forget about their love?

At that time, I made a promise to myself, that today I am in this state just because of Sol.

I hated this man very much. I didn't want to see his face again.

Today, it's been more than 6 months in this new country, and now I could sit in a wheelchair.

Doctors believed that I would be able to walk in the next 16 weeks.

After that, I could go to my homeland again. I could live my life again. I could meet my friends and family again.

I was recovering at a very fast pace and hoping that I would be discharged from the hospital very soon.
