Chapter 4 - The Journey Begins

Graham sat in his study, staring at the letter that he had received a few days ago. It had been a few days since he had informed Victor about Walter's impending arrival. The letter had no sender details, but it had asked Graham to meet the sender at a certain location outside the city. Graham had decided to take matters into his own hands and meet the sender himself, without involving anyone else.

Graham's mind was full of questions as he sat there, wondering about the sender's identity and the reason behind the meeting. His power, though unique, was not strong enough to make him a target for anyone. He had kept his power hidden for years, using it only when necessary.

Graham was lost in his thoughts when Irene walked in. "Graham, what's wrong? You look worried," she said.

Graham looked up at Irene and sighed. "I received a letter a few days ago, and I need to meet the sender. I don't know who they are, but I have a feeling that this meeting is important."

Irene walked over to Graham and sat next to him. "Do you want me to come with you?" she asked.

Graham shook his head. "No, I need to do this alone. I don't want to put anyone in danger."

Irene nodded. "Okay, but please be careful. We don't know what this meeting is about."

Graham nodded in agreement and stood up. "I need to leave now. I'll be back as soon as I can."

Graham made his way out of the house and towards the outskirts of the city. The sun was setting, and the sky was painted in shades of orange and pink. As he walked, he noticed that the streets were empty, and the only sound was that of his footsteps on the cobblestones.

After walking for about an hour, Graham finally reached the meeting place. It was an abandoned building, and the only thing visible was a flickering candle in the window. Graham approached the building with caution and pushed the door open.

Inside the building, it was dark and musty. The only source of light was the flickering candle. Graham walked towards it and saw a figure sitting in the corner. "Who are you?" Graham asked.

The figure stood up, revealing a tall man with a hood over his head. "I am the one who sent you the letter," the man said in a deep voice.

Graham was surprised. "Why did you ask me to come here?"

The man walked towards Graham, and as he got closer, Graham noticed something familiar about him. It was the way he walked and the way he held himself. "You're a power user, just like me," Graham said in realization.

The man pulled back his hood, revealing a scar on his forehead. "Yes, and I need your help."

Graham raised an eyebrow. "My help? With what?"

The man looked around the room, making sure that no one else was there. "There's a group of power users who are planning to overthrow the government. They believe that the government is corrupt and that they can do a better job. I've been trying to stop them, but they are too powerful."

Graham listened intently, trying to process the information. "What do you need me to do?"

The man walked towards Graham and handed him a piece of paper. "This is a list of their members. They have been meeting at this location every night for the past week. I need you to go there and find out what their plan is."

Graham took the paper and studied it. "I'll do it, but why are you asking me? Why not
