Chapter 52: The Man of Steel!!!
Rick Warren promptly transformed every part of him into metal.
If one was close to the arena, they would be able to hear the screeching sound of metal on metal as he moved.
At this moment a man in a light yellow robe appeared and walked to where Emperor Dabill
Wang sat.
Taking his spot, he sat down calmly and majestically
The Emperor gave him a reverent look but maintained his calmness like he was hiding something from the crowd.
The strange man in question was, in fact, the god of the Earth nation.
As he sat down, a forceful aura of an ethereal nature could be felt across the arena, shouts continued to ring out throughout the arena as no one paid any particular attention to it.
Rick charged forward to Lancelot Jr who stood idly by and remained calm,
Suddenly he got a powerful inspiration, like a sudden realization.
Clouds of smoke covered where Lancelot Jr stood and he became invisible.
The man of steel stopped as the commentator screamed "ahhhhh'
"This is a match of extreme proportions, no one could predict what could happen, and we don't even know the extent of the two parties' abilities."
"We just discovered that the fire king is actually a scholarship student here at the academy. Being a scholarship student means he actually has an immense talent for him to be personally sponsored by the school."
"From here you could see that the 'man of steel'
Rick Warren has transformed himself completely into metal, one can't exactly say which kind of metal but from the screen projection, this metal could do some serious damage if it were ever to come in contact with human flesh at full force."
"This match is even more interesting than anticipated. I have been at the edge of my seat all this while. We also don't know what kind of smoke the fire King produced, he has become practically invisible."
"What kind of capability is that? Truly worthy of the scholarship student", The voice of the commentator rang throughout the arena.
The Emperor was slightly stunned, in fact, he feared that his bet might actually be wasted.
If that happens that would be a slap on his face
He remained calm nonetheless, as he had no option but to still put faith in Rick Warren to help him save face.
The Emperor looked at the god of the Earth nation seated beside him, and whispered silently to him;
"My lord, who did you place a bet for, to win between the two fighters?"
The god smiled and pointed to the smoky portion of the stage where Lancelot Jr was.
"l like him, even when he is clearly at a disadvantage, he is still calm and composed, so
I chose him"
The god spoke with a serene demeanor.
The Emperor became worried for some reason as he gulped, he knew within his mind that the god of the Earth nation never makes a move unless he was absolutely sure.
As a matter of fact, throughout the few centuries that they had been relating, every move of his was like a play on the chessboard, absolutely lethal and it always hit the nail on the head, without missing its target, so for him to choose Lancelot Jr now, it means that guy also has a chance to win.
Nonetheless, he had already chosen Rick
Warren, the Emperor has no other choice but to have faith in him.
Lancelot Jr appeared far away, from the direction of the impact of Rick Warren who threw a punch at the smoky cloud.
At that moment, a voice sounded in Lancelot
Jr's head, "Wow, you inherited your father's concealment abilities",
This simple statement by the spirit speaker made Lancelot Jr distracted as he spoke out,

He didn't react in time as the Man of steel struck him from behind, sending him flying out of the stage, till he landed very close to where the Emperor sat.
The shout of the 'Man of steel' rang throughout the arena.
Even the Emperor was so delighted as he thought within himself;
'Well, there is a first time for being wrong even if you're a god', he felt extremely delighted in himself.
He had a smugness on his face mocking the Earth god in secret, and he felt so happy,
'My faith in this guy is paying off', he thought within himself.
The principal had a wary expression on her face as the commentator's voice could be heard again.
"That was a massive hit by the Man of steel, the fire King was sent flying like a broken kite, all his tricks were useless against the man of steel he truly deserves the name, 'the Man of Steel"
The arena erupted with screams,
"Man of steel..., Man of steel..., Man of Steel"
Rick Warren stood there like a statue, the aura he exuded was one of absolute confidence.
He raised his fist as he soaked in the praises from the crowd.
The crescendo only got higher.
At that moment, Lancelot Jr gently stood up, the referee rushed towards him from the stage and asked, "Can you continue, or do you concede?"
Lancelot Jr stood quiet as his mind was a mess but he managed to give a reply to the referee;
"l will continue", which surprised the Emperor,
'This kid really has a death wish' The Emperor internalized as he looked at Lancelot Jr with a surprised expression.
The referee turned as he led Lancelot Jr back into the arena.
The commentator's voice could be heard once more;
"it seems the Fire King is bent on not giving up, he didn't bow to such pressure and he has decided to fight to the last, that is worthy of a scholarship student, but could all that brazen determination match the immense ability of the man of steel? We will find out soon enough" He said, adding fuel to the flames of the already insane crowd.
Lancelot Jr grew quiet as images flashed in his mind, he saw scenes of his father's life manifested as a result of the spirit speaker.
One of the spirit speaker's abilities was being able to tap into the spirit world of any being and could transfer their memories onto others or even a form of their consciousness.
Being one with the spirit world, the spirit speaker impacted that particular memory of Lancelot Jr's father's life, a point in time when he was first cornered by the notorious Paige Kalliester in the blood nation, that was the only time he used his concealment abilities.
