Chapter 34: Awakening Plant Abilities!!!
Nosu continually held his gaze on Lancelot, trying to digest his words about the air nation being conquered and the path to building a centralized nation.
All his life he had grown to fear the monstrosity of the Air nation and had worked hard to prepare himself for that but nothing was a better substitute for the passion he had grown all through the years than the anger he felt for
Lancelot.
"l don't believe you!"
Nosu said frankly, as he stared into Lancelot's eyes, while still being trapped by the thorny plants that drained him of his strength.
At this point, other forest nation members came in to experience the surprising event of
someone overpowering their Elven king in a frontal assault.
Lancelot was still connected to the land, bridging possible gaps and making himself a conduit of the information and abilities of the land.
In this case, his body has also become the storage center for the two respectively.
For some reason the others did not dare to interfere, they could feel the signature presence of the ability of plant life forms in Lancelot, although they couldn't quite place their hands on what it was, their understanding felt limited but their senses were alert.
Suddenly Lancelot's eyes burst open with brilliance, after shutting them for a couple of minutes.
It was shining and radiating and flashing different kinds of life forms.
Information flowed through his head like the flipping of books as he remained motionless in his crouched state.
He suddenly stood up as the abilities became awakened within him and he looked around at all the people who stood before him.
"My name is Lancelot, I came here to tell you all to join my course to build a unified society..." Lancelot went on to explain in detail, how he had conquered the air nation and how he wanted to build a unified society and that they shouldn't live in fear as a brighter day was there for them.
The people did not respond but they stood with their mouths agape.
They stared at their Elven King who was kneeling on the floor and the stranger who seemed to be telling them certain news that seemed too good to be true, unable to decide which one to believe.
Suddenly the Elven King awoke from his weakened state as he sucked up the essence of the plants that entrapped him and easily broke free of their restrains. He stood up perfectly with not even the slightest discomfort
Lancelot didn't look surprised nor was he afraid, he now had five elements under his control and he already had the information of the land under his grasp, he was like a wise sage in elemental form.
He looked around at the different beings in the forest nation, from different plant Elves to dwarfs and even different unique beings that he had never met before.
"You have angered me today, to the limit of my patience, I will kill you and send your body out as a lesson to every other nation, not to mess with me" The forest nation Elven King sounded annoyed, his face shone with that monstrous aura of death.
He looked at Lancelot with so much anger and disdain and he had made up his mind to decimate him.
He stretched out his hands to feel the heavy plant aura around him and culminate their abilities, suddenly under his feet a tree stump grew out, carrying him up slightly into the air, his entire body was emitting an aura of a plant king.
He materialized a bow and an arrow out of thin air and shot the arrow at Lancelot. Lancelot remained calm not moving or even concerned, in fact, he wore a smile as he stood there like he wasn't the least bit intimidated by all that the
Elven King was doing.
The people were stunned as they discussed among themselves.
"He is even smiling, looks like he has a death wish"
"Who is this guy where did he come from",
"Going up against the Elven King, who does he think he is, even the chosen one in the legend would think twice about that"
Suddenly for the first time, Lancelot moved his hands as he stirred the wind, he changed the trajectory of the arrow, like it was under his control, and brought it to a total stop, everyone was stunned even Nosu stood there like a statue,
'who exactly is this guy, could he be saying the truth about being the element King'
Nosu thought to himself as he kept staring at Lancelot with a look of bewilderment.
Nosu quickly removed the thought and allowed multiple trees to burst forth from the soil accompanied by vines to restrain Lancelot.
He also gave the order to the dwarf soldiers to shoot their arrows simultaneously, all laced with poison.
Lancelot's eyes shimmered as he produced fire to burn all the flying arrows, simultaneously he used the wind to propel himself in the air while he caused all the moisture in the trees to escape, making them dry up instantaneously.
He landed like he wasn't even involved in the earlier battle, as he shot forward with astonishing speed, using the air as a boost, and appeared before Nosu swiftly.
Nosu was stunned, unable to react in time as he was knocked out cold.
"Does anybody else have any other questions?"
Lancelot asked as if he had been giving a lecture from the beginning till that moment.
The people murmured, unable to believe their sight. It was simply jaw-dropping and breath-taking.
"He has control over fire, air, even water, he must be the chosen one",
"My luck is so bad, I've successfully stood against the chosen one in my lifetime."
They started to shift back in fear, some even genuflected to reveal their genuine surrender.
Lancelot wasn't interested in any of that as he smiled wildly from ear to ear.
"Let's begin preparation, I will be going to the metal nation next, you..."
Lancelot pointed to someone in the crowd as he spoke, it was a woman who had plants extending from her body in different parts.
It covered her nakedness and it also served as a sign of her ability to control and create plant life on her body.
"You are in charge of the forest nation, ensure to open, the entrance and pick about 10 representatives from the forest nation who will accompany me to the metal nation after the earth nation, and also build a unified kingdom.'
She bowed after listening to Lancelot's words and started to act immediately without giving it a second thought.
Lancelot chose her based on the information he picked from the land, she was the rightful heir to the throne of the forest nation, but Nosu had coveted the throne using underhanded means to claim power.
All through that time, Nosu was unconscious as he was sprawled on the floor.
About an hour later, the 10 people were chosen by the lady whose name was Laura Chien, she then opened the forest nation entrance as they were set to go, totally ignoring Nosu who was tied up under Lancelot's order.
