Chapter 32: Void Assassin versus the Elemental King!!!
The void assassin moved with such a rapid pace that he closed the distance between himself and Lancelot very quickly.
From the side, Baldwin Raymond shot ball and after ball of flames at the void assassin.
These rapid ball attacks came in thick and fast, but the void assassin just shook them off as if they were nothing.
His garment was burnt but his skin was untouched as if the flames never connected with it.
'He is immune to the fire element'
Baldwin gasped as he came to this sudden realization and was unable to hide his shock.
'As expected of the void assassins, immune to all elements.'
Lancelot remarked inwardly but he maintained his calm composure, not the least fazed by this attacker.
The void assassin threw a fierce punch at Lancelot but Lancelot was able to rapidly spin out of the way to dodge it, moving with the wind like a floating paper.
Lancelot then unleashed an element protective barrier containing air, water, and fire, yet, despite the protective barrier the punch passed easily through the elemental barrier but missed
Lancelot by an inch.
The void assassin smirked,
"You are a worthy opponent, you can even wield multiple elements but that's just a bigger cake to demolish, nothing special"
He spoke as if it was a trivial matter.
He then brought out a sword and swung it a
few times in a complicated couple of moves that showed he was an expert swordsman.
"Now, It's time to end you..."
The void assassin sprang into the air like a launched missile and swung the sword forcefully towards Lancelot.
Baldwin reacted quickly, unleashing the greatest level of his fire element, targeting the face of the attacker.
The attacker for the first time felt an immense threat.
He was dumbfounded by that attack, he had to ditch at the last minute to avoid the flames heading for his face.
The attack by Baldwin surprised the void assassin as he pondered as to why he felt that immense threat once the target was his face.
He stopped attacking and took off,
"We'll meet again soon,"
He said before he disappeared.
Baldwin heaved a sigh of relief,
"l think it's time to head back, it's not safe here anymore",
Baldwin said as he thought to himself; ''if there was someone who could be immune to elements then it would make their stay very difficult'.
"Who are the void assassins?",
Baldwin asked as he couldn't remember any moment he learned of their existence or who they were.
Lancelot too wouldn't have known of them, but since he obtained certain knowledge of the universe when he obtained the power of four out of the eight elements, some of the lost knowledge was infused into him.
Lancelot began to explain; "The void assassins are one of the element nations, they are practically immune to elements, they used to live in peace with other element nations until the air god used other elemental gods to carry out his schemes to take over."
"He wanted to become the sole overlord of the element nations, he felt the threat posed by the void assassins so he crafted a plan involving other gods, using them to get rid of the void assassins so he could be able to conquer other nations very easily."
"In the weak state of the fire and earth nation gods after a fierce fight with the void assassins, the air god killed them and pinned their death on other water and forest nations to instigate an interelemental national strive."
"After successfully doing that he hid himself and gave the impression that he was dead while he used puppets like the diseased Paige Kalliester to continue his plan."
"The void assassin has some weaknesses, one of which is their heads. Their heads are not immune to the elements, so as long as they could protect their heads they would not be easily killed in battle."
Baldwin was both shocked and amazed as he stared at Lancelot and spoke;
"How did you know all this, you sound like you've lived through time'
Lancelot smiled but said nothing more as he marched forward into Baldwin's house.

~back in the hotel...
In the hotel, Xanthu sat down on a well-laid bed and was admiring the sheets,
"These humans are remarkable, they invented all manners of advance futuristic materials."
The general of the fire nation walked into the room that Xanthu sat down in and spoke dissatisfactorily;
"1 feel very uncomfortable being here, I really wish the element King would allow us to return soon, who knows what the humans are capable of doing"
The general said, as he stood staring at the quiet Xanthu, who ignored him.
Their relationship had improved compared to when they first met, but Xanthu still wasn't very friendly.
Suddenly a commotion broke out as they heard yelling from the other soldiers outside.
They quickly rushed towards the source of the sound without hesitation.
They suddenly saw an assassin clothed man in a black mask knocking out and killing the soldiers so easily, and he was moving at an insane speed towards them.
Lancelot and Baldwin had already arrived at the hotel as they heard the commotion.
Lancelot didn't hesitate as he levitated to the floor where the soldiers were staying, while Baldwin took the elevator.
Lancelot jumped in through the open window on the fifth floor and landed just in front of the void assassin preventing his further assault.
"You said we'll meet again soon, I never knew it would be so soon, I would have presented you a gift,'
Lancelot said with a smile and continued speaking,
"The last time we met, I understood your anger so I let you go, but this time, you've truly gone beyond what my patience could condone, but I'm still willing to give you one last chance, go and don't come back again"
Lancelot spoke with authority as the air carried his words and slammed them into the ears of everyone present, they instinctively covered their ears.
The man ignored Lancelot as if he hadn't spoken and moved forward to attack.
Lancelot readied himself and looked towards Dice signaling to him to use his powers.
Dice instinctively stretched forth his hands and crippled the assassin, who surprisingly was affected by Dice's expert control, he couldn't walk anymore as his legs lost connection to the brain signal, he wobbled and fell on his knees,
"It's true that you're immune to most elements, but not all elements and not all parts of your body are immune" Lancelot conjured a water spear from thin air and slammed it into the head of the assassin, killing him on the spot.
The onlookers were amazed at the assassin's immunity to elements but they were more amazed at the power displayed by Lancelot.
To them, he was simply a god amongst men.
Xanthu could see the difference in his abilities compared to Lancelot's as it widened further, at this point he had given up hope of ever-challenging him for Kendra.
At that moment Baldwin burst into the room to see the assassin dead along with some fire and water soldiers who had been killed, he wasn't shocked by the death of the soldiers but by that of the assassin,
"who killed him?"
He asked with some sort of curiosity,
'Lord Dice did most of the work"
Lancelot stated without even considering it, and then he turned and walked out.
They had lost 10 soldiers in their visit to the human world.
They would need to be better prepared next time.
It was time to leave and no one wished to stay any further.
Lancelot felt a little bit of guilt, if he hadn't brought them here, they won't have died so recklessly.
