Episode 5
Sasha's invitation
Grrr grrr. Lucy's phone vibrates. Someone is calling her, at exactly 6:00am, on Tuesday morning. Weekday mornings are one of the things she hates most, especially when being woke early.
Lucy: Ahh! Just go off already! (screams angrily, but the phone's vibration continues. For someone who loves to sleep a lot, she gets woken easily even by the slightest and softest sound)
Lucy: Ahhh! (finally picks the call.) Yes?!📞
Kris: Oops, I can see that I woke the sleepy beauty up. Not my fault you are a late sleeper, you know📞
Lucy: (sarcastically) Haha! Funny.
What do you want Kris?📞
Kris: Not a bad thing to say good morning to the most beautiful friend on planet Earth and beyond
Lucy: Nice try, buddy. But still not talking to you📞
Kris: (pleads) Lucy. Please darling📞
Lucy: Get rid of that bitch and talk to us.
📞 (About to hang up the phone)
Kris:(desperate) Wait! Don't hang up, please. I will break up with her, I promise📞
Lucy:(angry) When?!📞
Kris: Soon📞
Lucy: (anger tune increases)Till, you destroy her life? 📞
Kris: Common, she wasn't a virgin when I started dating her besides her vagina was loose.📞
Lucy:(irritated) Seriously? You are saying this to me?
Well, she ain't gonna keep insulting us because she's dating you, the K of KBL📞
Kris: I'm breaking up with her at the slightest mistake. But please if I do, you girls will stop neglecting me. I miss you.📞
Lucy: Only me?📞
Kris: No, I mean, I miss you and Becca so much. You didn't let me finish.
Lucy: Alright. Alright. Get done with it 📞(hangs up the phone.)
Well, I can't sleep again. Thanks to Kris. Let me get dressed for school, then.
7:05am⏰
Mrs Green: Lucy! (comes into the room to wake her up. Sees her dressed already to her suprise) You are dressed? By this time?
Lucy: (proud) Believe it, momma
Mrs Green: Did you set the alarm early and woke up at the exact time it rang?
Lucy: Nope. I even turned it off before it rang.
Mrs Green: Somebody woke you up?
Lucy: C'mon momma. I can't wake up on my own and early?
Mrs Green: No, you can't. Not since the day I gave birth to you.
Lucy: Mom! That's not a fair thing to say!
Actually, Kris rang me up early by six this morning, but I promise you tommorow, I'm gonna wake up all by myself and early. (Mrs Green laughs) I'm dead serious
Mrs Green: Whatever, baby. Just come down and have your breakfast, it's noodles. (Lucy's mother leaves her still disbelieving her early rise and especially her words of determination.)
After breakfast, Lucy and Becca went to school early, Becca was surprised to see Lucy all ready for school but more happy about it. The duo entered their class and Lilly entered with them.
Becca: We came the same time with this girl that comes early, this is great!
Lucy: My baby Becca is all happy about punctuality.
Becca: Sleep is your lover. Punctuality is mine. Allow me enjoy my lover
Lucy: Hahahaha. Crazy Becca.
Lilly however couldn't help but hear them and wishes she was among them. She unintentionally stared at them which didn't go unnoticed by Lucy.
Lucy: Hey girl. What's with your staring at us?
Lilly:(frightened) Um, em, um.
It was a mistake, I'm sorry.
Lucy: Kk. Next time, just don't look at other people talking, it's rude. (Lilly bows her head on the desk in fear and shame.)
Becca: She might be one of those poke-nosers, who go about buzzing in people's business and making a news of it. (Turns to Lilly)Just so you know girl, I don't take Nonsense, in anyway
Lucy: It's okay Becca, she apologized. And I think she wouldn't do that, she wouldn't dare.
(Lilly started to cry, is it a crime admiring the KBL and wishing to be among them? She just want to be friends with them.)
Other students trooped into the class and the bell rang for the first lesson. Kris however, didn't meet the first lesson, he was late for a reason known to him alone.
The last teacher who taught before break time had just left, giving the students extra time before the bell is rung. Sasha however stood on top of the desk close to the marker board and clapped her hands, indicating that she had a message to pass to the class. They all turned to listen to her except Kris though, who was staring outside the window close to him.
Sasha: I wanna pass a message to y'all Firstly, Bella get out, you're not part of this meeting.
(The whole class began to murmur, why would Sasha send one of her friends out? It's always Sasha, Bella and Arielle, why then send Bella out? Maybe they are in a dispute or something. Bella however walked out of the class in anger.)
Sasha: Stop your murmur guys and listen to me. Arielle, shut the door. (Arielle shuts the door.) Now, y'all be wondering why I sent one of my best friends out.
It's because I'm planning to throw a party at my house and it's gonna be fabulous! I already invited A and C class, it's you guys turn to be invited.
I sent Bella out because it's her birthday party, a surprise at that. I have planned how Bella would be invited to the party in such a way that she wouldn't know it's her party.
Guy: Sasha, you are really a good friend
Sasha: Yeah yeah, I know, I'm not only good, I'm great.
Well guys, the color code is all black and white, cause that's Bella's favorite color. You might wanna come with a swim trunk or something, because there's gonna be a pool party. (The class clapped happily to what Sasha says, the party seems like it's gonna be awesome.)
And. The date is this Friday, cause that's Bella's birthday. And y'all are gonna get an invitation card, I don't want some uninvited guests. Without an invitation card, no entry.
Well, my boo boo, Kris is an exception. (blows a kiss to Kris who ignores her. Sasha just laughed over it and went down from the table.)
