McCormick's car came to a stop outside Esmeralda's hotel. Esmeralda sighed and grabbed her purse then she opened the door and made to climb out of the car but McCormick hand flew to her wrist holding her back from climbing out of the car.
"What is it?" Esmeralda asked gruffly.
"I just wanted to know what it is that I had done wrong." McCormick said and Esmeralda shook her head.
"Nothing, you did nothing wrong. I just don't feel comfortable anymore." Esmeralda replied.
"Is it because of me or what I had done?'
"I said that you did nothing wrong and I don't have anything against you." she snarled and squeezed her wrist out of his grip. "And thank you for the breakfast." She muttered and made her way up to the hotel's front door. She opened the door and walked inside. Then instinctively, she turned back and saw McCormick following her. She stood her ground and sighed waiting for him to walk up to her.
